My husband and I are officially done with our Invisalign process! It has been a great experience with Dunn Orthodontics. We both have straighter teeth and can smile even more now. :D I no longer have to worry about a random elementary school student suggesting I get braces, lol, (which really happened). It was great that our dental insurance paid for a huge portion of our Invisalign, so we only paid around $200/month. Totally worth it! Special thanks to the staff at Dunn Orthodontics. Well, after avoiding braces as a kid and then regretting it as an adult, after a free consultation with Dunn Orthodontics, I am getting Invisaligns! Woo Hoo. My wife and will be taking this journey together as thankfully, my insurance will pay for a large portion of it. This place is so clean and inviting and the staff, just wow! Friendly greetings from the staff always. Everyone is always smiling and you can tell that they like what they do and working here. It doesn't feel like an office dealing with orthodontics or dentistry. I truly was scared of going to the dentist when I was younger. There's no vibe of "the big bad dentist office." When I first researched Invisalign 10+ years ago, my dentist back in San Francisco, as well as the orthodontist that I was referred to, told me that I had to get traditional braces if I wanted to straighten my teeth. The thought of having metal braces at that point in my life had zero appeal, so I shelved my desire to straighten my teeth. Fast forward to now, where teeth aligning and corrective devices have evolved, and I was pleasantly surprised to hear from Dr. Dunn that I was an ideal candidate for Invisalign. The whole experience so far has been wonderful. First you go in for a consultation where a 3D scan is taken of your teeth and gums. It's cool to see the technology in action and to see it on screen. After this was completed, Dr. Dunn looked over my scans and went over all of the issues that he could see and what corrective actions can be taken. He was very descriptive and explained things to me so that I could understand everything. After all, I am not Dental professional. Pricing was clear and reasonable. Following the program, although challenging at first, and something that requires my 100% follow-through on the instructions, was not an issue for me. Follow-up visits for little adjustments and progress-checking are scheduled in advance. I have nothing negative to say as my experience with the initial visit, first setup of the Invisalign appliance, and follow-up appointments, have been spectacular. Wish I could have done this a long time ago with Dr. Dunn, but I am so glad to be able to take this journey with my wife and the staff at Dunn Orthodontics. I can't wait for that million dollar smile when this is done. I started with a $10,000 smile and now, I'm at about a $100,000 smile. :-) If you are looking for a great Orthodontist who is backed by an awesome staff with a cool facility, look no further. My daughter was referred to Dr Dunn. He examined her teeth and recommended expanders after explaining to me the problem. Installment payment options are available, a discount is given when paid in full. My other two daughters previously got their braces from Dr Dunn, too. A discount is also given for siblings getting their braces on the same day. The staff is very friendly and accommodating, facility is clean, and service is fast and efficient. We have 2 daughters that needed some orthodontic work and did a lot of research before choosing Dr. Dunn and we couldn't be more happy with the results. His office staff is very welcoming, knowledgeable and you get in and out for appointments which for a busy family like we are, that's huge. There's also a fun waiting area for the kids, but like I said, we haven't needed to use it often as they keep their appointments! And they reward patients for wearing their t-shirt as well as good oral health on every visit with coins that you can turn in for gift cards. Dr. Dunn is a no-pressure orthodontist who stays on the cutting edge of his craft. He recommended that my daughter wait for braces and that made us feel better than rushing into it. Prior to treatment she had a spacer put in to align her jaw and to eliminate overbite. Also when the time came he recommended Invisalign for my teenager who has really liked the process and results. I have been very impressed at his professionalism, focus on patient and his warm and friendly staff who have made the experience extremely positive. The first doctor insisted that my son needed a pallet expander. We spent 5 minutes with the doctor and 30 minutes with the finance manager. Then we saw Dr. Dunn. He spent a good 20 minutes with us and turns out my son did not need a pallet expander. I have always felt confident that Dr. Dunn and his staff have the patient's best interest in mind. I have personally known Dr. Dunn when he began with Sutter Terrace Dental Group and was the Orthodontist. I had a really bad bite and with Dr. Dunn's expertise, my bite was dramatically changed, and without surgery. I might add that I was already 40 years old at the time. When Dr. Dunn began his own practice, I continued to take my children to him and he and his entire staff are absolutely fantastic. I live about an hour and a half away from Roseville. So, naturally my daughter was seeing a local Orthodontist in our area. She had been in braces for at least a total of 4 years (during her 2 phases of treatment) and her Orthodontist was about to take her braces off. My husband and I weren't pleased with her overall look, and in all of the times we explained this to her Orthodontist he did nothing to meet us halfway. I had heard about Dr Dunn from several friends in the past and they all say they will never go any place else from now on. So I thought to myself that I would regret not doing something for my Daughter if I didn't get a second opinion now! That very same day, I called Dunn Orthodontics and they gave me an Exam appointment that week. Their office is gorgeous and extremely well kept, and the employees are all so welcoming and genuine...During our consultation Dr Dunn LISTENED to what our concerns and wants were. Then he thoroughly explained to us all of the options we could go about in order to get both her bite in the correct position and the overall look we were hoping for when she smiled- considering she had been in braces for 2 phases already we were hoping for as close to perfect as her mouth would allow :-) We transferred my daughter there that very same day and haven't been happier! Yes, it's a longer drive for us, but definitely worth the gas money!! Her braces came off just a few months later and everywhere we go we constantly hear what a beautiful smile she has.
