The options were blackened chicken satay, brisket egg rolls, and crab wontons. One thing we wanted at the wedding was beignets, so we asked Chef Dee if she could make that happen. The dough hadn't risen in time, so she decided to have them delivered to our house (on the other side of Houston). Honestly, I have no idea why anyone would think that was a good idea.
