Been coming here for over 10 years, found it by accident due to a flat tire years ago on the hutch. Kept coming back because they work quick, they have great prices, and even paying tolls it's still cheaper than my options in Queens. They even refinish machined wheels which very few places can do properly. With that said, for the cheap fixes (curb rash) the rim will look about 95% like new, not 100% perfect, and I've been here multiple times for curb rash. For curb rash fix costing 60% less than other places near me and done on the spot, I am okay with 95% over 100%, but something to take note of if you're particularly detail oriented. For bent rims, 100% round, balances perfectly every time. First time I actually met and spoke to Dunn my last visit, and he's a standup, no-nonsense guy as well. I've tried to support our local tire repair shop, unfortunately it ends up costing me more. I purchased 4 brand new tires for my wife's 2014 Nissan Altima. Within 3 months one of the tires started eating away from the inside of the tire. I then went back and they told me you need a new tire!!! I was totally shocked when I just purchased the tires from them!! They played dumb and started asking for my receipt. When I looked the tire I realized they gave me 3 out of 4 same tires!! When purchasing 4 new tires make SURE THEY give you all the same tires!! They literally played dumb and I had to buy another new tire!! Smh me trying to give them a second chance I purchased 4 new tires for my car. Within 3 months my wheel alignment was off?? Me living in another state it took me some time to take my car back to the city. I did a full tuneup for my car and asked the mechanic if he could do a wheel alignment as well. When he looked at my front left wheel the mechanic took pictures and sent it to me. My nut was 2 threads of coming off!!! The shop that discovered the problem did not do wheel alignment, so he just tightened the nut so I could take it back to Dunn Sport tire shop. When I arrived I showed them the picture of the problem. He remembered me and had no problem fixing the wheel alignment. I arrived at the shop at 3:30pm. I left after 8:00pm!! He made me wait! Instead of taking care of me. He put whoever came for a wheel alignment in front of me! They were paying for how services at that moment. That's not how you treat a paid customer. Don't bring your car to this shop they are going to steal your tires......so I brought my bmw to get my rims color changed from chrome to black and they stole all 4 of my tires and gave me all 4 mismatch tires.... Best tire shop around. Hands down. Excellent staff. Exellent service. They really go above and beyond to make their customers happy. Also pricing is very competitive all around. Went here to get my tires checked before a road trip. Found a crack in my rim that kept the tire losing pressure. The owner Dunn arranged for me to get a new rim, but because It was gonna take a few days to be ready. He actually game me a rim to travel safely while he got the other one ready. I also came here to have a bent alloy rim fixed for my 2005 Mazda 6 which I drove into a small creator last year and ended up bending and cracking the rim as well as slicing the tire open. They straightened the bend and welded the crack, mounted a new tire and balanced it for a third of what everyone else quoted me. They also powder coat, paint, and do alignments on site. read more

Went to this place to get my adv1 rims fixed but all i got was scraps and a puncture tires then blamed me that it was already like that when it came in.. The tire shop I used to install my tires chipped the paint on one of my brand new wheels, so I figured I'd try Dunn Sport to repair the damage. It doesn't look like much from the outside, but after dropping my wheel off for a couple of hours, they made it look brand new for $30 less than any other shops were quoting me. In fact, the owner would not even tell me where the damage had been when I was checking their work and I still don't know where the chip was. The only downside is that it's cash only, however there is an ATM at the check cashing place next door. I will absolutely be back if I have any more issues with my wheels. read more

As a woman, approaching any sort of male dominated 2 car garage fix-it place is usually somewhat daunting. I got a few stares, but for the most part the gentlemen who worked at the establishment were professional and courteous. The owner was extremely knowledgeable and knew what he was doing. He runs a tight ship and you can tell that his employees have respect for him. I would highly recommend going to this establishment. I got an alignment for $50 and my car is back on track. This is my new go-to place. It's not exactly a clean and shiny place with vending machines and a TV, but for what I needed to have done it was quick (only took 20 minutes) and everyone was really nice and personable. I must say, the reviews we're spot on. I was in and out of there within 30 minutes and the service was great. It's not a resort; it's a place to get your car fixed and they do a great job at it. Due to Mavis and their intellectual abilities. They (Mavis) stripped my lugs, didn't let me know to get new calipers, and was driving with horrible brakes that I thought was new. Nevertheless, Due to my lug nuts not being able to come off with my high torque impact gun, I got the chance to visit Dunn Sport. They specialize in this, Dunn let me know he'll take care of it. Three out of the four lugs that were stripped were able to removed by the Dunn Sport team. On the fourth lug nut they had to torch off the stud, just because Mavis is incapable of doing a proper job. The Dunn Sport team threaded in a new stud and all i have to say, from the work that was done I thought it would've been an arm and a leg but it was only just a finger. Best prices, reliability and they are a wheel and tire shop. Listen go here don't go to no big name brands where they hire no one with the experience or technical abilities to do a wheel alignment or change brakes. read more

I really wish I had taken pictures of the terrible state of my wheels BEFORE I took them to Dunn. Without before and after pictures you'll probably think I'm exaggerating. Basically I took them mangled, ugly wheels that wouldn't even hold air, wheels I thought were beyond redemption, and they gave me back wheels that look brand new. They came back to me perfect. There's just no other word for it. How do they do it? It's like magic. And, as if that's not good enough, they're really nice people.
