Don't do it......dropped car of for 4 new tires and 2 hours later get a call that the technician ran my car into a concrete pole!! On the phone i was told it was a scratch but when i got there it was a total bumper replacement, rear fender and tailgate.... I understand accidents happen but my car not only has a camera, but the SEAT vibrates as it approaches an object. The worse part of this is not shop but dealing with their claims department...hence i would not recommend this operation cause if you need to be made whole from their own doing - FORGET IT!!... I got an estimate from a reputed body shop in town and gave it to the adjuster from Dunn Tire (3rd party vendor) and they basically cut it in half, declined some repairs based on interview with shop, want to us aftermarket parts and noted that pricing was agreed upon between them and the body shop - which I can tell you is NOT TRUE!! I turned the paperwork over to the body shop and they said nobody has every contacted us regarding this and that the car cannot be fixed for that amount... Oh by the way Dunn cut the check and sent it to me, so they are trying to sweep this under the carpet as a done deal.. well it is not. on top of the damage, later i was able to calm down and look at the tire job and low and behold the RIM on the same side of the accident was scratched ... when i advised the adjuster of such damage and took the pictures, they said do you have before pics to prove damage didn't exist.. REALLY!!! for anyone still wanting to us this business. I recommend take pictures of you rims and tires before hand.. I asked adjuster which part of the car did the shop actually work on??? the tires they responded... interesting the tire is correct so how would the rim get damaged and it be the rim on the same side as the accident??? never less i am still fighting to get the rim covered and the body shop is dealing with the repair costs, which is a 8 day repair which i will be given an rental but with stipulations. I know this is a very long story and believe me it is not over.... I have a 3 year old truck with zero issues, 30K miles not a scratch inside or out and now i have a damaged car with dimished value and looking to be made whole and i get the run around... REALLY!!! I sold my car and went to the West side of town to get title work done. When it was time to take my plates off the car so new owner could put their plates on, we realized the screws holding them were rusted and could not be removed. I was far from my home and the buyer of my car didn't have any tools at his house so we could not switch plates. To the rescue came Dunn Tire on W. 12th St. At the counter I spoke to Lewis only to recognize him from when he worked on my side of town at the Dunn Tire store on Buffalo Rd. Lewis agreed to see if the mechanic could take a moment and see if he had a tool that could remove the frozen bolts. Within minutes the plates where switched and the car buyer and myself were on our way. Thank you Lewis for coming to the rescue even though I hadn't made a purchase that day. I will continue to use Dunn Tire for my auto needs. read more

The guys at Dunn tire on west 12th Street in Erie Pennsylvania are the most friendly and helpful people! I stopped in for air in my tires and Jeff Noticed a leak and also told me about metal caps and have me 2 caps for free. Then the manager helped me by trying to find a tire that would work on my truck. I thank you so much for the outstanding service and all your help. What a mess my wheels and tires were! I had new tires put on my car. The tires were filthy will dirt and the wheels were covered in grease. I went back and they offered to clean them but they should have enough pride in a job to do it right without having me to complain. Never again. If they do any work on your vehicle take pictures before and after. I wish I had. read more

Was given wrong information pertaining my valve stems that have sensors, I was told I needed the whole sensor and all I needed was the stem replaced. Which is a significant difference in price. The sales person told the tech what was needed not the other way around. On the Jeep Commanders its a two piece system which they should have known so I guess they thought I wouldn't know any better well they were wrong. So since they were not honest they lost my business for good! Not a good way to do business boys..... read more

Not sure what has changed with this business. I've always purchased my tires from them. They had good prices and service. Last week I called for price and availability on a set of tires (not cheap ones either). They claimed computer trouble and took my information and promised to call me back. They didn't so I phoned again today and they again had "computer issues" and asked if they could call me back. No thanks. I can take the hint. They obviously don't want my business. I can make that happen and maybe by this review save them from other cuatomers. read more

Been going to Dunn Tire the past several times I need new tires or tire repairs. Besides some rude and non helpful employees the very first time, I have had no issues since then. The last time I went to get new tires, I dropped off my car at 8am and got a call 45 minutes saying that my new tires, 4 of them, had been installed and that my car was ready for pickup. read more

I've been meaning to write this a few months ago, but I will never go back to Dunn Tire. I've been buying tires here ever since I got my first car and remained loyal to going to Dunn every time I needed tires but the last few times I've come here the people working here have really tried to screw me over and take advantage that I'm a girl. I bought tires less than a year ago o got a nail in the tire so they will patch the tire for free because you bought the tires from them. So I go in to get it patched and it was done really quick. As I'm waiting to get the receipt from the employee he tells me my tires are bald and that I need 4 new tires. I told him I bought them less than a year ago and when I need them I always come back well a few days later I get a call from Dunn Tire telling me my new tires are in, the guy seriously just ordered them for me! I got so irritated I ended up buying tires somewhere else when I bought my next set. I then gave them another chance and came back to buy tires the next time and everything was fine, because my father came this time. A few months went by and I got a small piece of metal in it so went it to get it patched. So I go in and the guy says that they can definitely patch it so I waited 2.5 hours and then the guy comes out and says they can't patch it and that I will need to buy four new tires. Are you kidding me? Why 4. So I asked if I could buy two and he said "well it will mess up your transmission if you drive on tires that aren't the same age" so he goes back to look then all of the sudden tells me I could just buy two but they aren't in stock so I ask him what I do then and it's getting down to closing time and it was obvious they were trying to screw me over and get all new tires then all of the sudden magically they were able to patch the tire because the mechanics wanted to leave. Great service, Helpful, cheerful, knowledgeable staff. Ordered on-line, they called when tires arrived. Bad communication on our end caused us to show up without an appointment. Even though it was close to closing they, still fit us in. We were very grateful and highly recommend Dunn Tire. Someone even wiped down the dashboard, which was pretty dirty(our son's car). read more
