Great food. Great beer. No complaints at all. Went after work. Not sure what else to say, but needed 85 characters.

I did an F16 wing package and split it into the two garlic flavors. I was surprising pleased with the garlic parm rub. The other half, hot garlic was good but not enough garlic for my taste. Overall a good dinner and I will go back. I've lived in Buffalo area for a number of years these were quite good wings. My only complaint is for 24 wings I only received one container of blue cheese. Cheers!

There's only two people at the bar eating. They just got their food so I told my wife five more minutes and we're here the waitress/bartender for the most busy in conversation at the corner of the bar with the two got their order, she never checking on our ready by the time we received waffle the outer edge were hard as a rock and all stuck to the paper like it's been sitting there underneath the heat lamp she just took it out of the took that off the price. I ordered a hamburger and she ordered the mac & cheese with garlic wings. She loves her but one wasn't any good dried out with Ritz crackers on top the hamburger was edible but dry. We finished our meal waiting for the waitress which was still talking to the same people so I got up to use the bathroom and then on the way back. I asked her if she wasn't too busy give check and a box. It was like I was disturbing their conversation so I made sure the two women heard me say instead of sitting here talking to them she should be taking care of the people sitting down eating I see one sit down for a and the girl was about 10 feet away from him still talking to the girls and he kept on looking over to add her shaking his head. I don't know who the manager was in this place but he should be fired too.

I usually skip the pretzel, but I'm happy we got it because it was soft and had the perfect amount of salt. The nachos and burger took a super long time to come out. I think they were waiting to bring them out together, but that just led to soggy nachos and a lukewarm burger. The chips that weren't soggy were pretty good and the added chili was good for flavor. Drinks were good! I can't remember the specific one that I got but it was Apple flavored and perfect for the fall. They serve 32 ounce beer mugs and it was hilarious next to my tiny wine glass. I would check them out again if I were in the area and looking for this kind of atmosphere.

It cost $50/hour including shoe rental. Staffing seemed sparse and it really took a while for someone to acknowledge the 2 of us, and no one at least greeted us and let us know they'd help us shortly. It was a Sunday in April and the place was about half full. There are only about 10 lanes. No one ever came over to take a drink or food order but that could've been because I exclaimed how expensive it was for one hour of bowling. According to the April Vacation Special it seemed like I should've gotten apps but all I got was bowling & shoe rental. However, we had fun. The automated scoring, pin setup, ball return were in working order. There's lots of bowling ball weights and finger hole sizes to choose from. There's a GIGANTIC TV with some seating so it was nice to catch the Bruins game after we finished bowling.

This place came up and I was surprised we'd never seen it before in all our trips. Being seafood lovers, we had to try it out. It was packed, which was understandable for Mother's Day. And very noisy! The service was exceptionally slow, which we also understood! Figured this had to be a hidden gem. My son ordered the lobster grilled cheese and loved it! The boom boom shrimp app was amazing. I had the stuffed founder and it was pretty good, but a bit dry. I should have chosen one of my go-to dishes like a lobster roll or salmon. Anyway, we've decided we definitely want to give it another try as Mother's Day is not the best way to try a restaurant for the first time. The scenery was a lot of fun and it gave our whole trip that special vacation vibe we look for! In spite of the Mother's Day glitches, would recommend!

Jimmy's has an extensive menu of seafood, burgers, steak, salads, giant shakes and all manner of things they could please almost any palate. We started with a basket of bread that was reminiscent of anadama bread served with whipped butter that was unbelievably delicious. I ordered whole belly fried clams with fries for an appetizer so that I could try the fried clams. These clams were fried perfectly in crumbs and were sweet and very good. My wife had the classic Jimmy's burger with cheese and bacon and fries, and ordered one of their shakes so that we could each take a taste and see what both were like. The burger was cooked a beautiful medium rare, served with a smoked bacon that was fantastic. The shakes are gigantic. We ordered a mocha shake that came topped with a mountain of whipped cream. Sweet, thick and creamy if it was worth every bit of the eight dollars you pay to get one. I ordered a lobster roll, but not the one they serve on the menu. I'm absolutely a lobster roll snob because I'm from Maine where we invented lobster rolls. The Jimmy's lobster roll is served with melted cheese, lettuce, and tomato - not legal anywhere I am aware of. I asked for and was served a lobster roll of cold lobster, served on a grilled bun with mayo on the side - just as God intended. The bun that this lobster roll was served on was nothing short of spectacular. I would've taken a dozen of them home. It was reminiscent of a French baguette with just the right crunch on the outside and a soft center filled with beautiful lobster meat, and just a hint of mayonnaise. Right on point. Our server was excellent and received a 20% gratuity for her service. We will definitely come back because the food is very good and there is such a tremendous selection of different things to eat that we have to come back and try something else the next time. All in, $91 for two. The fried clams alone were $27.

No reservations, so get there early! An automatic bonus star for original craft cocktails and dinner specials. I abhor restaurants that rely on staple meal choices, forgetting that people need variety from the ho hum they make at home ( or can make at home- like Wood and Tap. Boo.). I love a place like this where you can look at the menu and see at least two or three things that make you think "WOW, what will I choose?". The restaurant is very bright with many high top tables. It would have felt conspicuously weird to take photos in the full-capacity situation we were in. There's also a gentleman playing acoustic guitar and singing Christmas music. Nicely done, with a professional voice and playing style. I would say, the only downside was that there didn't seem to be a consistency of how people were waiting on tables, so simple things like a set of silverware missed at our table, and then somebody brought a set and didn't bring napkins. Then one of us received the completely wrong meal and we had a delay in getting it corrected while we were already on a tight schedule with the other flubs to make the show on time. It was scattered issues like that all night that kept this from being a five star experience. It

Amazing! Fantastic! Unbelievable!Highly recommended!!!!…read more This is the second time we have held a function at Shortstop Bar & Grill. My husband's retirement party was held there years ago. Last Saturday, we had a baby shower at SS and all we can say is "Outstanding"! Monica and her team of professionals were attentive and accommodating from day 1. The banquet room was large and easy to decorate. The area easily held our party of 60 people. The food was so, so very good, hot and plentiful! We chose the lunch buffet with terrific dishes to choose from. The per person luncheon fee was reasonable, especially because there were no other fees to use the room. If we needed anything at all we need only to ask. Monica treated us like we were family. They even went over and above the call of duty for us! In our haste to clean up, some important papers were thrown away. I texted Monica as soon as we found they were missing and she got to work on it. Monica had her Dad go through the trash bags from our room and FOUND the envelope!!! Talk about exceptional service!!!! We will definitely be back.
