Great service. I hired them to fix a major home clocked pipeline for multiple rooms and they were out to diagnose to issue immediately. The pipe was scheduled to be repaired the next morning after diagnosing the problem and only took an hour. The experts even verified by testing all lines to make sure the issue was resolved. I strongly recommend these guys if you want the job done right. My total cost was $435.00 a price I'm comfortable with knowing it was done right rather than paying someone else by the hour and getting uncertain results. Only checked one star because I could not give zero. I called Dunn's when my AC went out. This greatly self - advertising "24/7, highly experienced, expert service" company sent me two young inexperienced clowns spread over several days, then, FINALLY sent me an older, truly experienced guy - after I'd gone without my central ac for a full week and had bought two ACs to just get by. This third guy said there was no excuse for (other aspects and) them taking a full week before he finally fixed it, said I'd get a discount, then I, of course, got a ridiculously high bill. That was mid last summer at peak heat, just like now, when my central AC has failed again. I suspect Dunn's "repair" has failed, but will not find out from them phoney clowns. read more

Well my AC went out and they came out and tried to repair it 5 times. Now each time they had a suggestion on how to improve my system for hundreds even thousands of dollars but never could get my drain pan to drain on the unit. Please check the reviews for any H VAC company you pick these guys are not good at what they do. read more

Power was out in parts of the house and some lights were flickering. Called them, they came check the fuse box and said it was an issue for the power company. The tech sat in his truck until the power company fixed the cause of the power surge and then brought us a bill for $600 (despite doing nothing but watch someone else work). read more

I called b/c my thermostat died. Dunns came in, they did not even test it, he went under the house, told me I needed a new unit costing 8500/+. I could not afford that and called someone else to come look at it. . They came and the only thing wrong was a blown fuse. It was replaced and unit is working just fine. Dunn's charged $885.94 to replace a existing faucet, the faucet cost $58.83 at Home Depot. His tech came and evaluated the problem and said he was going to replace the complete faucet, and would go and pick it up, gone 1/2 hr at most, returned with faucet and spent another 1/2 hr installing it. We questioned the tech as to why the charges were so much, he said the faucet was expensive, see attached photo. We were told the faucet cost $125.00, when we called manager to discuss billing charges. The faucet was installed incorrectly as the hot water is on the right side and cold is now on the left. I would never recommend anyone to not use Dunn's for anything. read more

I have a home warranty. They came out told me a part had to be ordered. When the tech left he said he'd ordered the part from the supplier it should be here by the end of the week. Fast forward to today, Friday, home warranty company approved request yesterday but I'm being told today from Dunns that now that it's been approved they'll have to order the part!!!! Don't like being lied to. I'm elderly with a lung disease that requires oxygen. It's hard to breath when it's 85° inside your house. For a week now I've suffered. It's ok Dunns go home to your air conditioned houses I have no choice but to suffer and wait on you to eventually get around to repairing my equipment. Not impressed.... read more

They charged $861 to replace one water pipe.They then told us the whole trailer needed replumbing because the lines kept busting.Had another guy come out and he said he could plumb the whole trailer for $800. read more

Bathroom pipes burst during a winter freeze and out of 3 plumbing companies only Dunns could get in and get it done quick. They sent out Colton who exceeded my expectations. He kept me Informed throughout the entire process and was very careful with my belongings that he and his partner had to move. They even offered multiple times to clean up the bathroom after the job was complete and took a look at a future project I had in mind. If you value your time or are in an emergency DONT USE DUNN'S!!! I manage a 50 room hotel that services Alabama's Law Enforcement I called Dunn's at 530am this morning due to a lack of hot water. We've used them primarily for several years and I had expectation they would respond with the seriousness the situation deserved. When the technician arrived he seemed less informed than I. After several attempts at basic troubleshooting he eventually called the manufacture of our water heaters. They of course were busy and he seemingly didn't want to wait to speak to someone so that proved fruitless. Then he called his manager Josh and they then "speculated" ,with absolutely no error codes, that both of our units were "burned out" and needed to be replaced. Naturally, during these difficult times businesses can't afford $3800 per unit based on pure speculation. So when I asked for another more knowledgeable technician to look at the unit I was told the manager would come and look at the units. I asked the technician to take a closer look for us himself because we were in a time crunch. He obviously didn't want to do so. While im waiting to hear the outcome of the second evaluation I realize that the technician left the property without informing me. The boiler room was left open and all our heaters were left open and the covers on the floor After an hour of waiting on him to return i called Dunn's office and spoke with the manager Josh. I was told that JOSH nor the original plumber were on the way and the technician had no intentions of returning. The manager offered to come out at that point but after seeing the condition our boiler room i changed my mind... Ill advise anyone to think twice before calling them in an emergency. ( I wasted an hour waiting on them to return when I could have just contacted someone that actually wanted the work) Eventually, we went with Dunn's direct competitor in the area and replaced 3 of our tankless water heaters.
