Look.......I've tried!!!! I have tried to trim my own beard, but I always fall short. I'm bald because my hair doesn't grow evenly on my head, so I've given completely up on having a hairline. My beard is no different! I can't quite get my beard to evenly grow to have a magnificent mane (think Rick Ross), so I continously start to grow, cut my beard off, only to grow it out and cut it off again. It is a vicious cycle! Enter my man, Jermaine! He has singlehandedly restored order and faith in my beards potential to grow. He continues to amaze me with his shadowing prowess and despite my beards limitations, he navigates effortlessly around my beard's shortcomings. I came here in desperation one day for a new job haircut. Jermaine hooked me up with a nice low skin fade, and the price was amazing. The only problem is I've called and came by the place the last 2 weeks when they've supposed to be open, and it's closed and they won't answer the phones or call back. I'm not sure if the shop is closed now or they just don't go by their listed hours. Might have to start looking for another shop soon. read more

As someone who relies heavily on customer reviews, especially for service establishments, I have to come back and leave another for this barbershop. It's been about 2 years now since I've moved to Atlanta, and Jermaine's shop is still the only barbershop I've needed since the first time I've walked in. In the past 18 months I've graduated from college and grad school, changed career three times, and have been married and divorced, but I still call up Jermaine's shop every other Saturday or Sunday to make an appointment, it's literally the most stable part of my life. There have been some changes around the shop in the time that I've been a customer and they are all for the better. The shop was nice the first time I walked in, but now with all new floors and a paint job, as well as new equipment at all the stations, it really is one of the classiest places to get your haircut I've ever seen. As to be expected, Jermaine is still an excellent barber; polite, professional, intelligent and extremely skilled. The man is very busy, though luckily he has a talent for employing barbers who are in the same league. Special shout out to Kendra, she gives a great cut every time, and it doesn't hurt that she's also very pretty =) If you're in this area and looking for an excellent cut or style, this is the place to be. read more

Would have gave zero stars if possible! Poor customer service! Go elsewhere, because you never know what kind of treatment u will get when u go here! However, the girls in the shop are nice, it's the owner( Jermaine) that I have an issue with! It seems as if u are not spending enough money then your 10 dollars is not worth his time or effort! Not only do I get a great cut but I have received nothing but the best service from Jermaine(the owner).From my very first time as a walk-in, he acknowledges my presence and informed me of how long I would expect to wait. He doesn't rush the job and always has intelligent conversation. Thank God I finally found a barbershop in the ATL area where people are not loud, ignorant and using profanity.
