Since I lived a long distance away, Rudy kept me updated with pictures on the progress of my home. He was always available to answer any of my questions. We had an incredible experience working with Rudy from Dura Coats. From day one, he showed up on time, every day, and worked with a level of precision and professionalism that's hard to come by. Our home has orange peel textured walls, and Rudy not only repaired areas with putty and previous damage -- he blended everything so seamlessly, you'd never know the walls were touched. His attention to detail is amazing. We also have a transitioning arch hallway with different paint colors, and he executed the lines perfectly -- clean and crisp, with no bleeding or flaws. Rudy was also incredibly flexible when we made a last-minute change to the color scheme in my pantry and added extra door painting. Despite the added work, he finished right on schedule and his prices were very reasonable in comparison to other quotes. P.S The review from Cali S. Below is total nonsense and exaggerated! He was working in our home when he got his call. We heard the whole conversation, the person was pressuring for an estimate with little to no details on cabinets. Rudy asked for more details for an estimate and the person got rude and disrespectful. I don't see why anyone who owns a business would risk committing to a job with no details, he did the right thing and the caller was unreasonable. I had a few quotes going around to get paint done and I ended up going with Dura Coats. From the very start, Rudy was extremely friendly and quick to get back to my request for a quote. He came by the same day since he had availability. He answered every question I had, showed me what he recommended needing patch work and such - was just very thorough and took his time unlike another person I got a quote from who rushed through things. I really appreciated that. The paint job overall was beyond what I could expect. He did a color consult with me and really took his time to explain how certain colors would look, gave recommendations and educated me on how things would turn out. Anything I wanted to ask about, he either answered or quickly handled. When the job was done, he was more than willing to go through the rooms with me, touch up anything that needed to be touched up and left no stone unturned. I can't say enough good things about Dura Coats. He was punctual and was very communicative throughout. Each day he would walk me through his plans which I appreciated. Rudy from Dura Coats was great!!! I originally found Dura Coats when requesting a quote from another company on yelp for stucco and clicking the get other quotes option. I wasn't searching painting, but boy am I glad it connected me with Rudy. Rudy responded immediately and was very professional in reviewing photos and scheduling time to look at the job in person. After looking on site, he was honest and told me that the stucco work was more than he would do and I needed a stucco person. When I asked if he knew anyone for stucco, he gave me the contact for BPrecise Plastering (great review to come). It was meant to be. Two great companies. I actually needed my garage door painted, so I asked Rudy to quote that job and ended up having them do the garage door and all of the house trim. He was very reasonable and coordinated with BPrecise so they could get both jobs done in a month. When he arrived, he took a sample of old paint and matched it. Then finished in one day. He left the extra paint, too. Throughout it all, he was kind, respectful, and professional which is not always easy to find today. From start to finish, Rudy did a fantastic job! I needed the entire interior painting done and found Rudy through my searching. Compared to others, he was very punctual and accommodated our schedule to go over details. He did not hesitate in scheduling an estimate right away and gave us a fair and honest opinion on what needed to be completed and how long it would take. He always picked up the phone and gave us his time to go over any questions we had regarding the entire process. While painting our house, he left no stone unturned. He was very efficient and always called us to bring up any concerns he had and would rectify the situation, such as patching up damaged areas from moisture or any other damage or concerns. This made the aesthetic look seamless throughout the house. And he wouldn't try to upsell me on any hidden costs, he would just be honest and fair and upfront with everything, which can be hard to come by in his line of work. I hired Rudy from Dura Coats to paint two of the bedrooms in my house. He explained that he was a licensed painter and gave me his license number as well as letting me know he was insured. Rudy was professional and friendly. He moved all of the furniture out of the bedrooms and then moved them all back when the painting was gone. He and his helpers did a beautiful job!
