Our experience was amazing. Tyler and Taylor were experienced and funny, with a few bad jokes. Be prepared for dad jokes or any cat jokes that you have. Our group had such a great time with both of them. Thank you for a great experience.

We enjoyed the 12 zip lines that went along the changing Fall trees. It is definitely worth the extra money to do all 12 lines and we couldn't imagine e stopping after just six. The last three were the most thrilling!! Taylor and Logan gave us a thrilling and safe adventure. They were knowledgeable about the course, gave us fun code names, and kept us safe!

We did the 12 Line Adventure with our outstanding guides Cara and Snow. The one thing that will make a tour go from great to awesome are knowledgeable and FUN guides. Super friendly staff, easy to book online, they have a great chat feature, or you can just call. (We booked through Mild to Wild Adventures). I highly recommend this Zip-line if you're ever in Durango... and tell Cara and Snow that Troy and Kay said "Claim it!" and throw up a Chaka sign!!

We went zip-lining on 9/12/2022. I highly recommend the 12 lines, the first six get you comfortable with the experience before the longer faster lines. Sam and Boggs were awesome instructors. They ensured safety was the first priority, while making the entire experience fun. I'm a HUGE scaredy-cat, and I felt safe the whole time.

My brother booked for the family to zipline. Clay and I think it was Parker were amazing and very fun! Clay was so awesome with my Nephew who was terrified at the first line of 12 but with Clay's help was convinced to shoot the shot. From there my nephew was very much comfortable. Durango Adventures and Zipline Tours did not disappoint. The staff was absolutely fantastic. Parker and Austin were our zipline guides, and they provided a very enjoyable experience. The 12 zips were definitely worth the cost and were accompanied by great humor, laughs, and dad jokes along the way. Parker's peanut joke topped them all. My husband and I did all 12 towers for our zip line experience. The hike up to the first tower is only slightly challenging. We're in our sixties and managed just fine. I suffer from altitude issues so I was a little short of breath but it quickly passed once we reached the top. The first six zip lines were nice warm-ups and the last six offered a faster, longer ride. Our guides, Braden and Adrien were great. We had a mix of adults and teenage boys in our group, and they did a really nice job of interacting with everyone. They also did a fine job using safety protocols...something my husband especially appreciated. Give 'em a try, you won't be disappointed. read more

My boyfriend and I planned our final weekend getaway to Durango last minute and we were scared we'd get bored with all the restrictions during the pandemic, but luckily I found this place while searching for potential activities on Groupon. We got a good deal on a 6 zip line adventure and easily booked for the very next day! The place was a quick 5 minute drive from downtown Durango, we arrived about 10 minutes before our reservation, and check in was as quick and easy as booking. When it was time, we watched a short safety video and got started about 15 minutes past! You first get geared up and hike up the small mountain right behind the shop. At the top, you can run though an optional short practice line to practice your form and hike just a bit higher to start zip lining all the way back down to the roof! The 6 lines were a good mix of length, speed, and scenery. We had 8 people in our group and the adventure lasted about 2 hours to get us all down, there wasn't much waiting around. Our guides, Snow and Lynsey, were very helpful and friendly - thanks for a fun afternoon! read more

The Zipline experience was very good, with well trained and pleasant guides. An overall good afternoon of zip-lining. HOWEVER ... Beware of Skylar at the front desk. An unhappy, rude and insulting person, and check-in process. First we had to listen to a phone call with her boss to warn him that an unhappy customer is about to call and ask for a refund. She told him that she refused the refund for the customer. They wanted their money back because the advertised photographer was not going to be there today. So then we asked about the photographer that we paid for, and Skylar said no they are not here and you can't get refund for that amount paid. She said here's a GoPro camera for your helmet. When we were not satisfied with that answer, she said "I don't have to listen to that ... just check-in or don't go on the tour", in a real snotty tone. It was so insulting and inappropriate !!! We continued our day because this was a birthday gift for my sister and ignored her from then on. Luckily the guides Jacob and Elise were very nice and gave us great experience. Skylar needs some some training as to how to deal with other human beings, as she almost ruined the day! read more

My grandsons, Daniel (18) and Samuel (13) had an incredible time! their guides were great - very kind and accommodating - Snow made sure they were hooked up correctly, everyone was very friendly and informative, along with adding lots of laughter to the 12 line course. We would definitely recommend using this company not only for the price but also for a very enjoyable adventure through the trees and the amazing free fall at the end of the course. read more

We were very happy with our experience! The combined rafting trip with Mountain Waters Rafting and Zip-lining were both family friendly for our party of 5, including 2 kids ages 9 and 11 and a 70 year-old grandma! Our Zip-lining guides Brayden and Aiden did a fantastic job and made us feel very safe. We highly recommend the 12-line course. The lines get longer and faster after the first six. My husband and I did the 11 zip lines and opted to do the free fall for the last one. It was amazing! We loved every second of it! Cameron and Cara were our guides, they were both sweet and funny, and took all precautions due to Covid 19! We brought our GoPro which the end result of all our videos combined were pretty awesome, highly recommend having one on the lines! Well worth every penny! read more

Snow and Elise were top-notch guides from start to finish. My 11yo daughter was put at as much ease as necessary to get over her initial nerves. They were very patient and created a great energy that made the experience one to remember. They were deliberate with the necessary safety precautions, which helped us feel comfortable, as well. The zip lines themselves were terrific - great views of the valley below, fast, and exhilarating. I highly recommend this tremendous experience to anyone looking for an activity in Durango. My first impression was this was going to be great. And the zip lining was. BUT watch out for the staff in the 'office'. We walked in to get registered for the 70th birthday gift for my sister, and were assaulted by the front desk person (Skylar) giving a paid guest a rude rebuttal to a zip line trip. Okay we'll give her the benefit of the doubt not knowing what transpired. Then she called 'someone' on the phone and told them they should expect a phone call from this group. She left nothing to the imagination as she described their disappoint in not having a 'photographer' there to photograph their trip. Now, you can imagine how I felt about hearing this when I too added on the package to have my sister's 70th birthday gift photographed. What a mistake to bring up the fact that I was disappointed, because Skylar ripped into me and if I didn't like it she was going to kick me out. I should be happy that they were going to 'let' my sister use a Go-pro for the same price as a photographer. Now you do realize my sister is in NONE of the Go-pro shots. That was why I chose to pay extra for a photographer. The guides for the zip-line can not be praised enough for their knowledge and safety. read more

No great views with his one. I picked this one due mainly because I had my grandson with me on this trip.. read more

Wow they do not disappoint. From the moment we walked in till the end they were making sure all was going well. I had a little trouble going up the mountain but Lindsay was right there beside me encouraging me every step of the way. We did the six Zipline. Incredible it was fun and extremely exciting. We had a great time with Adrian and Lindsey! They were great fun and constantly reminded us of things that were related to our safety! It is a bit of a hike up for the first zip line so be ready for that. Have some water handy because they can't offer as usual because of the Covid rules. You can purchase before you leave the office. We had sooooo much fun! A definite trip highlight! This was my second time ziplining with Durango Adventures. I had friends come to visit me so we decided to go zipping and I knew from the first time this was the place to go. We did the 12 line tour. At the end they let us choose between the final zip line and doing a sort of bungee-free fall I have never seen before and it was insane!!! Highly recommend that if you have the option and highly recommend requesting Cameron and Snow as your guides! They made the experience so easy and we laughed so much. Thanks again guys :) read more

We booked a moderate run with class 1-3 rapids, since we had a big range of ages (my Dad is 77 and we had a party of 10 with ages ranging down to my 10-y-o son). They advised that this would be best for our family, and they were correct. I'd love to come back and do some class 3-4 rapids now that we have had some experience. Our guide Hannah was knowledgeable and very kind. We had a great experience with the team. No complaints at all. Highly recommend.

The alpine slide has changed dramatically in the past few years (we used to be able to get buy one get one coupons for 5 bucks here, but now that tickets are $15 each for a single ride... that's a different story). We met our 2 guides, Leo and Josh, right outside the Mountain Village gondola. They expertly explained the process, safety features and what to expect. After gearing up we took a chair lift to the training area where we learned the hand signals and practiced on a small line. We then walked to our first zip line. So much fun flying through the air and viewing beautiful Telluride! We experienced 5 long rides and also 2 aerial bridges and 2 rappels. This was a fun experience and our guides were knowledgeable and friendly. Highly recommend!

My wife had heard that Mild to Wild rafting took great care of their clients. Last year at this time, we were wading up the San Miguel river / stream and fly fishing. Shallow water, tranquil pools and great fishing made it a different weekend. When we booked this, I thought it must be a mistake as this stream did not seem strong enough for rafting and narrow in width. What a difference a year makes. The river was full, fierce with heavy water and good class 3 rapids for the next 1 1/2 hour. Big rocks, fast water, big snags and quick currents were the norm today. One had better stay in the boat, as it would troublesome swimming in 42 degree water. Alyssia, our guide was fabulous and serious about following her instructions. She navigated the rocks, snags and fast water. She maneuvered our boat well. For the next 1 1/2 hours, we had 3-4 foot swells and worked the entire trip. We have rafted many rivers and this was one of our shorter trips but a 5/5 on adventure. For a great adventure, beautiful scenery and a gorgeous day, raft with Mild to Wild. You will have a fun filled and adventurous memory for life.

River guiding is clearly in her blood and the generations of river guides in her family must be proud. She is equal parts expert guide and fun banterer. If you're 8 or 80 or somewhere in between like us, you'll appreciate how Kaia gets down. No disrespect to any other river guides, but if Kaia doesn't win MVP of the week, they got to scrap this system and build back from the bottom up. On the other hand, there was one guide reportedly named ZB that was a complete vibe killer. If that guy wins, they also need to revamp this whole operation. Hope he enjoys a nice Dante's Inferno from Barber and the Bookcase and rethinks his approach to River guideship.

We came from Raleigh, NC to Pagosa Springs and drove the 1 1/2 hours to Durango. We had never done a Zip Line before and signed up for the full 12 lines at 1:00 p.m. on 9/24/19. Weather was perfect, sunny, no jackets needed. Our guides were Patrick and Cody who were funny but very professional and safety conscious as well. I agree with another reviewer that they are actually a part of the entire experience rather than just your guides. They usually have a photographer but it was her day off which was too bad because the only way you can bring your own camera is if you have a way to zip it securely in a jacket pocket. One gal was able to zip her phone in a pocket so she took some photos that she texted to us so that worked. I recommend you buy the glove liners they offer for $2. That helps the gloves they give you fit better. They also clean their gloves only monthly so you decide. The zipping was fun and felt safe and even though my husband has a fear of heights, the zipping part didn't bother him at all. The free fall at the end was fun but not long enough and if you do that you have to hike a bit back to the building. Or you can do one final zip that lands on the building so there's no hike back. The hike at the beginning is quite a challenge up a steep 500 ft. I suggest wearing sturdy tennis or hiking shoes that don't slip around on your feet and can grip the hill well. There were 2 breaks on the way up, one with water and a very small snack. Everyone made it but it's not for anyone with any joint issues or pain. The zipping won't hurt anything but the hike up is tough. There was a much more expensive company that offered no climbing of hills or towers, they lifted you up by a cable. So if you have issues, you can still go zipping. I highly recommend going zipping and also with this company, they were great! read more

Go! Now!! Put it on your list of things to do in Durango. We did rafting in the a.m. and this ZipLine tour in the afternoon. Parker and Connor helped us feel safe while zipping and waiting out a thunderstorm. My 80 year old friend (fit, active, lifelong mountain climber, cyclist) said it was GREAT!! I had never done a free-fall or narrow bridge - Thanks for those! Safety was always first and funny fun was a close second. :)We had great fun on the 12-zipline tour! The zips were gradually longer and faster. And the last few were very fast and long. I felt very safe, but also felt like I was on an adventure. Our guides, Parker and Connor, were excellent: Professional (safety first), but friendly and funny. We had to pause in the middle of our tour to wait out a thunderstorm, but even that was fun. I would recommend this to anyone wanting an awesome experience. I did the 6 zipline tour and it was fantastic. I had Snow and Eric as my guides. They were so professional and fun. They added a lot to the experience. I felt very safe and comfortable from start to finish. The ziplines were so much fun and everything was so beautiful. They did not have a full tour but once they found out that it was my birthday, they opened and gave me the full experience. I had so much fun. They walked me thru every aspect of what to expect and me it feel so comfortable. It was the best 75th birthday anyone could hope for. Have already recommended it to friends and relatives. My family and I are having a stay-cation here in Durango and really wanted to go zip lining so we decided to come here. We were able to complete our waiver forms online and purchase everything and make the reservations before we arrived. You are required to wear masks the whole time which is good because we were in a group with 7 people plus 2 guides. We made some great friendships and had good conversations while we did the 12-zip line tour. Our guides, Patrick and Adrian, were amazing. Super funny, comfortable to be around, and made the experience 10x better. At the end, you have the option to do a free fall bunjee drop or one last zip line and we all did the bunjee drop and it was SO fun!!! I would recommend this place to anyone, very family friendly. read more

AWESOME!!!!! Parker and Matt were fantastic and fun. Always took the time to give great explanations to ensure we'd enjoy the zips and told us what we needed to know to be safe! Super funny and gracious. I have a slight health problem that makes that initial hike a little intimidating but they were amazingly patient, without knowing we needed to take a break or two. We went at the end of July and it was raining that morning, but it didn't damper our day in the least. Quit raining just prior to heading out and only drizzled now and then afterward. It's an expensive activity but you only live once and it was worth every penny. We would highly recommend Full Blast Adventure Center. read more

I booked the 12 line tour for myself, son, daughter in law, and two grand kids for a Friday. The day of our tour my grandson woke up sick and he and my daughter in law couldn't make it. I showed up with my son and 8 year old granddaughter. I explained what happened and the young gal at the counter told me it would be no problem to transfer the two reservations to Sunday if that would work. It did and on Sunday daughter in law and grandson went and really enjoyed it. So hat's off to Durango Adventures for accommodating our situation. On our Friday tour we had Maddy and Jacob as our guides and they were both knowledgeable, helpful and made sure everyone enjoyed themselves. read more

This was an excellent time and would highly recommend. The views are beautiful, the service is top notch, and all of the staff are incredibly friendly. Our guides, David and Adrian, were outstanding...they were extremely knowledgeable, helpful, personable, funny, engaging and just a pleasure to be around. Before doing this for the first time I wasn't aware how important all of those qualities would be and how big of a role the guides would play...but rest assured they are and these two guys were excellent! We had a blast today at Durango Adventures and Zipline tours with Sydney and David. What a pleasure it was to spend 4 hours of our day with both of them. My family and I rate them as an A+, 10+, and in the superhero category. Sydney and David were so nice to us and showed patients, kindness, and respect to all. Awesome time with Cara and Lindsey as our guides. They are fantastic with all the kids in our group, super fun personalities with high energy but also very knowledgeable about ziplining tips/tricks/safety. They made me feel very comfortable doing something that is very far outside my comfort zone. Tour started and ended on time with no issues at all. They made good, interesting conversation throughout tour keeping everyone engaged and they also gave some great recommendations of the area for food and other activities. The experience was so fun! I went with a group of 7 and another group of 3 joined us. The guides Kam and Snow were awesome, welcoming, fun and you could tell they love what they do! We felt super safe and could just be ourselves, laugh and enjoy the moment. Just as good as a Costa Rica zip line tour I went on years ago. I haven't seen the pictures yet but it was great they have the GoPro as an option to purchase photos from or bring your own. we had a photographer that day as well. It was a really good time for our 1st time zip-lining . We had Snow and Josh! They were really good with kids and made it so much fun!!! I recommend to all visitors and Durango citizens! It had a safety video and a ton of things you should know and should not know. They also have people who can take photos of you and you can buy them online. You won't be alone either. This place is amazing! I had never been on a zipline and was so excited! I'm from Louisiana and not used to the higher altitude at all. As we started up the trail it wasn't long before I realized I couldn't make the climb. So, I went back down & had already taken my gear off when Boggs,one of our guides, came back to get me on the 4 wheeler. So I got geared up again & here we went! My guides were snow and his girlfriend (can't remember her name, but she was awesome). They were a lot of fun and put everyone at ease. The ziplines were awesome too. At the end you have the option to jump off the tower and experience free fall. Snow was demonstrating this when his girlfriend kicked him off the tower. We came to Durango from Albuquerque for the weekend and this was our first ziplining adventure which was awesome! We did the 6-zipline but we want to go back and do the 12-zipline. Heather at the front desk was so accommodating, friendly and helpful! Our guides Snow and Boggs were very patient especially on the hike up...and very helpful, friendly, and let's not forget fun!
