Best. Taco.Wagon.EVER! I have had a burrito, a chimi, and a sopes... allllll amaazzzing. if you want a burrito I Highly recommend a veggie with chicken with/without hot sauce. (i prefer without... I'm sensitive to spice). It's seriously amazing. I refuse to go to any other taco wagon. This is also family run so it's nice to support the locals. You just gotta love em :] Enjoy!!! You will not be disappointed :]

Best ever! Veggie burrito is awesome. Get there when they are open like 11am-7pm. There is usually a line but worth the wait!

I could probably live off of this taco wagon. It'd probably kill me eventually but I'm perfectly okay with that

Al Pastor taco - I never had been served stripps but the flavor was great and it was a nice sized taco! Great salsa on top too! Went back and we crafted two burritos Relleno burrito with carnitas - this was fire and on point the flavors were perfect and it fed me three times! Chili verde burrito - wet with chili verde on top! A friend and I were headed to an MMA event just north of Oroville and needed a quick bite to eat,…read moreso pulled off and hit Yelp to find something good in the area. Vallarta Grill looked like a good option so we headed over. This was a Saturday evening (about 6pm)... they were busy, but had no trouble seating us within a couple minutes (the host had to duck out to clean the booth for us). The menu is very complete - lots of options! It was honestly tough to make a choice. I chose the Lamb Shank, which included an enchilada. I was given the choice of ground beef, shredded beef or chicken for the enchilada. I asked if I could somehow upgrade to a shrimp enchilada and was politely declined. My date chose the chile verde. I also ordered coconut shrimp as an appetizer. First up was the coconut shrimp - first impression: I was surprised at how "flat" they were! Obviously it was intentional, but flatter than anything I've seen or had before. I jokingly called them "road kill shrimp" and my date slapped me. They were good, though, and I understood and appreciated the reason(s) for flattening them - more surface area for the breading, even cooking and easy to scoop up the yummy sauce. Next up were the main dishes - the Lamb Shank was good... imo, I would have liked the sauce to be a little thicker, but the flavor was good. I really liked the enchilada too. I didn't have a ton of the rice and beans just because I normally don't eat much of that - but it was good, better than I've had elsewhere! I had a bite of my friend's chile verde too and give it a thumbs up. I love flan. I was full enough that I didn't need to order flan, but I couldn't leave without giving the flan a try. I'm glad I did! The flan was very good, some of the best I've had in a while. Overall, great meal and I wouldn't hesitate to drop by again if I was in the area.

Prices were on point $3 for each taco and chips and quacamole well worth the $11+. Homemade tortillas with fajitas were good. Well Mas Amor was amazing - meat is tender and flavorful and the consume is tasty and has some good flavor! Order the BIRRIA!! I should have asked for extra cilantro and onion but we had a wonderful lunch! The decor is so cute and the lighting is calming and nice. Love the artwork super creative and beautiful pieces! The marigold garland on the ceiling is a nice touch and the music videos were on point. It felt like we had gone on a journey and left Chico! I had the Birria Quesadilla with consume and mom had Birria nachos! Neither disappointed for sure. The meat is so tender and flavorful and added a nice touch to the nachos! I was surprised my mom even ordered Birria but she was happy she did. We didn't order chips and was happy we didn't because between the nachos and Birria quesadilla it was the perfect amount of food. Washed it down with a Modelo and couldn't have been happier! Makes me want to go back for the Birria Ramen!! The salsa was served in the cutest little clay containers on a beautiful clay heart plate. The dishes were great and so was the food - I highly recommend trying them out I'm sure the rest of the food is good too! Can't wait to try more from the menu. They have a food truck also off of Nord - will have to try that too!!

Visited May 29 2026. See my receipt as always…read more This place is in Princeton California. I have driven by this several times using the back roads from Colusa to Chico. The reason I didn't notice it was a small restaurant is because there is no signage other than by their takeout window! I am glad I stopped in with boyfriend and puppy in tow. Although the service was super slow it was worth it. We shared the carne asada burrito that had plenty of meat and rice and beans in it. The flavors were really good and no chewey or fatty meat inside. They do have inside seating but not pet friendly ( no outside seating). We took it to go and got back on the road. The burgers and milkshakes looked amazing ! The locals told me to call in the order ahead of time to eliminate long waits. Food was authentic and I will be back next time I drive through this area! Btw..they have beer and sodas as well. Lady that waited on me was nice and apologized for the wait. Also btw this is the backroad to get to Farmer's Brewing in Princeton

I joined some friends for lunch and after deep diving the menu, I ordered the Al Pastor Super Burrito and added a fresh jalapeño. It was the game changer that turned a great burrito into the perfect meal, because I LOVE spicy. Everything stood out on this meal: The Balance: It's rare to find a burrito where the meat, veggies, rice, and sauce are in such perfect proportion. Every bite was consistent. The Al Pastor: The seasoning on the pork was spot on, and the added heat from the jalapeño provided that perfect kick to cut through the richness. This was not marinated in store bought adobo. The Tortilla: Often overlooked, but the consistency here was perfect, strong enough to hold everything together without being gummy or overly thick. The interior has that classic, rustic wood-paneled vibe that makes you feel like you're in a true community staple. Whether you're grabbing a quick lunch at the counter or sitting in one of the booths, the atmosphere is exactly what you want from a neighborhood spot. The owner was there crafting the perfection. He is happy to adjust to your taste. This is high-quality, honest food. I'll definitely be back to work my way through the rest of the menu. A Marc Tip: Definitely add that jalapeño to your burrito it adds a fresh heat that elevates the whole experience.
