Meh. Just ok in my opinion. Cash only. I got an asada burrito supreme and my spouse got the chicken burrito supreme. There was plenty of meat. I thought it could use a bit more flavor though, like more of that rich umami flavor. It just seemed somewhat flat flavor to me. It definitely has a spicy kick, which we were fine with but I could imagine it being too spicy for some. Just nothing to write home about. Whole beans (as opposed to refried - I personally prefer refried while my spouse prefers whole). Spouse said chicken burrito was probably more 4 stars in flavor but said it could be bigger and also isn't a fan of cash only. The cost for the two burritos and a small bottle of coke was $17.25, which seems about average. I believe it was $7.50 per burrito. Verdict: If I go back, it's purely going to be out of convenience of location from my house, but then again, it probably won't be convenient because I don't usually have cash. read more

This is my absolute favorite taco truck in the area! I usually get the chicken tacos and they are always delicious. Sometimes i like to mix it up and try something new and i am never disappointed. We're locals have stopped by the local taco truck many times hoping we could order something to our liking. No luck so far. We've ordered the pork tacos on two occasions -- and I'm really not sure what the problem is but it doesn't taste like any pork that I recognize. It's weird. Not good. We've tried the burritos and they're just not that tasty. The tortillas are dry and come from a bag. Absolutely nothing special about the burritos; I could have (and do) make better Mexican food at home. Go across the street to Pueblito's restaurant instead !! They have take-out too. We're not going to try the taco truck anymore. read more

Paid 8 bucks for a beef burrito, extra meat, add sour cream. NOTHING ELSE. Just meat, cheese, and sour cream. I repeated this multiple times. But I got a burrito full of shit, like guacamole and onions. I highly allergic to both of these which is why i asked and made sure repeatedly. We are lucky enough to live in Durham so we are dangerously close to the Durham taco truck California Tacos. We practically live on their burritos. If you like it spicy, order extra hot sauce and don't be afraid! Even since Pueblito opened across the street (same family), and I eat there too, I still crave burritos from the truck and that is always my first choice during the week. read more

I quite honestly believe they are using recycled food from the restaurant for their taco truck. The freshness level of the food has gone downhill. I no longer eat there. This place is absolutely fantastic. Best taco wagon iv eaten at ever. Burrito supreme is hands down orgasmic. It's an explosion of flavor inside your mouth and you better be sitting down to eat it because your mind won't be able to focus on anything but the food you hold in your hand. It will put mind control on you and make you eat every last morsel of the burrito made by the burrito gods of Durham. You will crave burritos for the next couple days and have withdrawal symptoms if you do not consume another burrito within a few days. Once you bite you are hooked and hooked for life. This taco wagon is seriously more addictive than crack cocain or methamphetamine. It could be compared to heroine as I receive the same juiced up high when I eat a burrito as I do when I shoot up my heroine. It just feels amazing and it cannot be matched but by maybe heroine, in which after shooting you will want a burrito and combined they will make the happy center in your brain completely melt with joy.
