The only person who finally came over to help was a kind woman who had been sweeping on the other side of the restaurant. She stopped what she was doing because no one else would. I have 13 years of waitressing experience, so I completely understand how frustrating last-minute orders before closing can be. "We are here through tomorrow, you have anything for tomorrow early?" - Sorry, fully booked. You need to make reservations months in advance. (I should mention, we had a gift card for this place, we live in CA, go to Sturgis every year for bike rally, so someone got us a gift card for this place.) Arriving in Deadwood the first place we go to is the # 10 saloon, when we walked through the door we were immediately told the if you are not drinking we had to donate to the bar. Not a welcome to Deadwood just a give us money or leave. I was embarrassed that I had talked this place up, and we were greeted so terribly.
