There are also plenty of running/biking paths that connect several different neighborhoods to each other, making this a great central location connecting the communities of Rockville. Honestly, this is one of my favorite parks to bring my little puppy to, and to just wile away the hot summer days with the plethora of shade and a creek running through.

We had to use two wagon carts and walked a few bumpy and up down minutes, then rolled down through a steep grass fall down to our dugout. The signs should be improved for any possible assistance.

The park seems a good size for a neighborhood park, but I didn't take too much time to walk around since I had just planned to leave after I ate. There are close bathrooms which is a huge plus! We went on a very cold and windy day and stayed for an hour despite the temperatures - the kids were having that much fun! The only negative is that it's right next to the county animal shelter, which gives us the willies when we remember how nasty they were to us when we wanted to adopt a dog...but that's a review for another day :)

It was pretty quiet (just nannies and a few kids) until the private schools let out and kids in Gucci shoes followed by moms in neon colored Chanel boots showed up and it became quite crowded. We left not too long after this because a few of these unruly children who were not being watched by their moms repeatedly tried to bully my 2 year old out of the sand area. Before these children arrived, we had a great time with the various slides and toys left behind in the sand. There's lots of open space, tennis courts, and a separate section for older kids. Parking is on the street and highly coveted. I noticed many cars circling on our way out. It looks like there's a splash pad here as well. I might take my son back here but would definitely choose to come earlier than later.

My littles would love coming here and love going on the trains or carousel or the picnics we would have when I was a sahm. There's a part here that will connect you to Brookside Gardens. The park is very well maintained.

The train was the same, but it was closed for repair the day I was there. The biggest downfall was I could only find portapotties. However, this park was a lot of fun to visit for a day.

Recently moved in the rockville area and while walking the dog I happen to stumble across this park behind a school. It has two large field on the upper and lower area. There is a playground, basketball court, and tennis court on the lower field. A great area to walk your dog or to let them roam free if there is nobody around. Next to the upper field I saw a community library box where you can take a book to read and then put it back or add a book to help the community. All in all, pretty great area to chill, explore, or have fun.
