Do ride in to knock off some dust at The Boot (or gather some up as it sticks to your thawing footwear.)  I ducked in on a late evening for convenient carryout since not much else in the Village was offering convenience at the time. Your mileage may vary with the crowd (and CDC requirements,) but not by much if my two visits were any indication. Expecting bar food, the Food Fairy must've zapped my bag on the stroll back to the condo. I popped the containers open to find my bag filled with some of the BEST FOOD on the mountain. It included the BEST ENCHILADAS I've found in any foodie joint (anywhere) in a long time. No, they're not TexMex, not New Mexico/Southwest, but are a wonderful blend that's just right and loaded with tender beef brisket. Other remarkable surprises included the lemon chicken, fish tacos, Boot nachos, Colorado cheese fries, rigatoni...nothing missed a beat in a resort so generally overpriced that it shouldn't be possible.  So...SHHH! Tick a lock!! Mums the word!  Surely the Vail Property Squad will up its protection fees if word leaks out! read more

Excellent meal and service! My wife and I stopped for lunch and were pleasantly surprised by the great menu selections. I ordered the Short Rib Bowl and my wife ordered the Harvest Cobb w/grilled chicken (good portion of chicken). Our food was delicious and Lucas our server offered great recommendations, was attentive, and delivered excellent and friendly service. We took our baseball team for a late lunch after games. Food was good. How we the establishment was not accommodating at all. They would not let us sit together or in a section together even though the restaurant had no other tables inside. So the adults couldn't sit at one table and kids at the other. And they would only split the table checks into 2 checks. Otherwise the entire table people were seated at had to be on one bill. Found this quite odd for a restaurant located on a resort. read more

We happened upon this place while driving in Beaver Creek area. It was a great sports bar with fabulous drinks and food. We ordered six street tacos to split- just the perfect size AND they were delicious!! We both got the Jalapeno cucumber margarita ( minus the cucumber!). Oh, so yummy!! I was very happy with my dinner tonight. I am here during the off season so getting a table at 6 pm on a Monday was not a big deal at all and I was seated immediately. I'm assuming during the busy season, this would not be the case. I got the buffalo loaded tater tots and they were spicy, crispy, good! Came here with family on Thanksgiving break. The food was just OK. The staff is friendly despite being so busy. Situated in a picturesque skiing location. Menu is a mix of American, Mexican, Asian with a bar like scene as you enter. Kids ordered the Asian chicken wings & Burrito. Wings were left unfinished as it had more sweet taste of brown sugar than actual Asian flavor. My husband ordered the burger which he said "wasn't bad"! I ordered the Tuna Poke which was a good portion size but again failed to have the Asian flavors but overall healthy and filling. read more

Loved this place. I ordered the Gyro with tater tots which was so good. The tzatziki sauce was easily one of the best I've had. Our server was hilarious (he supplied us with multiple dad jokes lol) and super attentive. The seating was great (a little tight), but the views that overlooked the village and mountains MORE than made up for it. I also heard that the carne asada tacos were legendary. Fun place to watch a game after a day on the slopes. They have daily drink specials and both a sit down dining area and bar area. We ordered a Buffalo Chicken wrap through the bartender. We had some issues getting the food and had to remind the bartender of our order 40 minutes after placing it. Oh what a day to think back to those happy schussing days in Colorado, which seems like eons ago now, but in reality was just back in January, 3 months back! I did want to write an update, since Dusty Boot had become our de facto lunch spot when we're at Beaver Creek. I had the Super Food salad twice (did you think I liked it?), and a sandwich on two other occasions (Reuben, and the hot turkey). At $16 for "a salad", you might think at first blush, "PRICEY!" An IPA draft is now $7 (swear the one I had before was $5!). But don't forget: this is a ski resort; if they don't gouge you here, where do they? I WILL tell you this: the salad was not only well prepared with fresh ingredients of great variety, but it was also really of substance. But talk about substance... as someone who does not waste food, I did not finish either of my sandwiches. Oh sure, I could have, but it would have meant food comas to induce quitting right after lunch, not to mention temporary damage to my "trim" figure. My recommendation: split a salad and a sandwich order with someone; that way, there's (even more) variety, and you would come closer to not leaving food behind. read more

Not ADA compliant. I walked on crutches to this bar to have a drink and order some appetizers. The bar was completely full, and we asked to be seated since my leg was broken. One hostess turned us away, I explained that I had a broken leg and there was nowhere to sit at the bar. She went to ask the manager, and came back to tell us we could not be seated at one of the dozens of empty tables. Cowardly that the manager did not have the courage to explain this to us directly. First, the server was rude. Not a welcoming smile what so ever. He sat us pretty quickly, which was nice. On to the food. I ordered the fajitas. The sizzling plate that usually comes out with fajitas was warm at best. The fajitas themselves were in what I could only describe as soaking in water. And the portion size was very very small. Lots of onions, not really any meat. The setup for the fajitas was disappointing. It was shredded cheese, guacamole that was a little brown, and lettuce with a little bit of pico. No rice or beans in sight. So, it made the already cold fajitas even colder. The tortillas were the same. It's a shame because this place could be really cool if they could get the service up to par. and have the food actually come out hot. We also had the pretzel and chorizo queso. The pretzels were great but the queso was super thick and not like cheese dip at all. But it was tasty. my husband has to Old Fashions. They were 16.00 a piece. Ovrall, not great service, meh food... We usually do dinner here, but I stopped in at the bar for lunch one day. Alina was a very attentive bartender and makes an EXCELLENT margarita! The atmosphere was pleasant and casual. I was able to find a spot immediately at the bar and had enough space to get some work done. The wi-fi is free and strong for any of us who have to work on our vacation. I always, always, ALWAYS get the pork green chili. I find myself craving it as we get closer to this annual holiday. Definitely a great spot for some good, food, drink and if you need to catch the game, you will find no shortage of others there excited to cheer alongside you. read more

As a Beaver Creek / Avon local, I have been going to the Dusty Boot for years on end now. Customer service lately has plummeted in the past year or two. What used to be a staple is now a place I would never think of bringing visitors too again. An example is tonight's experience with the FOH manager (I was told his name was Wally). As it is obvious he has not worked in customer service before, he was beyond rude and unfriendly to many different groups of customers coming in. After realizing he sat my group at the wrong table tonight, he came over and told my party of 3 to simply "grab (our) stuff and move", pointing across the room and not looking up from his Ipad. We overheard him being very rude to other parties as well tonight. His demeanor had us heading to the door to the neighboring restaurant when our to-be server, Ossi (apologies, spelling may be off) flattered us with her fun and bubbly character. We stayed and her service was great throughout the rest of the night. All in all, the experience with what seemed to be the FOH manager was very off-putting but Ossi was great tonight. Wishing the best for her and the friendly hostess, as they deserves more respectful leadership. read more

DBR will forever have a special place in the hearts of our family. We left a bag of souvenirs at their store the night before leaving Beaver Creek -- just as COVID-19 closed everything down. Flash forward five months later, I returned during a summer trip to Vail and the amazing staff dug our treasures out of their office. We will never go back to BC or Vail without a stop by Dusty Boot. The Dusty Boot is a fine establishment with a surprisingly good amount of veg-friendly options. My low star review is because our server was just horrendous. He was rude from the get-go and when my brother said he had some questions about veggie options, the server mumbled loud enough for us to hear, "I figured." We both asked for the Thai Noodle Bowl without chicken and instead asked if they could put some avocado. The server said yes and even offered extra veggies on top of that. Um, yes! When our meals came, they had chicken on them. A nice manager came over and offered to remake our meals, which we took him up on. When our new meals came back, there were hardly any vegetables and certainly no avocado. We spoke with the server and he had a MAJOR attitude, like some teenager we were forcing to clean his room. He brought back a side of kale. Whatever, we ate it. Then, the bill came and this man had charged us for the side of kale. We got that taken off, but honestly, his attitude and lack of competent service triggered me to write this review that hasn't even mentioned the delicious Brussels sprouts appetizer or anything else about the noodle entree aside from its lack of veggies. I don't know if he was having a bad day or not, but regardless, the service industry is predicated on customer service with integrity, especially in a town like Beaver Creek! Located in the heart of the Village, we stopped here for after dinner cocktails. Great place and atmosphere. There was live music till pretty late which we enjoyed a lot.
