3-star food but an extra for the ambiance and vibes inside! The owner/manager was super friendly and walked us through the menu. Love all the dog pictures on the wall and the dog wallpaper. Bathrooms were extremely clean and well maintained which was surprising for the kind of hometown kind of divey vibe this place gives. Also pinball which is always a bonus! Burgers weren't really anything too special but they were tasty. I liked the sauce they came with. Food? Excellent quality and quite an artful presentation! The mighty hunter/gatherer in the family decided he wanted a giant burger. He who goes gets to choose the place, so Dusty's is what came home. He brought home a Phat Burger, a Chicago Dog, Faygo sodas, and onion rings. The Phat Burger was HUGE, and he ate it all! He loved every bite but conceded two smashed patties would have been enough. My Chicago Dog was quite petite in comparison, yet was more than enough for me. I was quite amazed that the dog arrived home looking gorgeous; every topping carefully applied finishing with a generous squiggle of mustard and sprinkled with poppy seeds. Traveling with my dog Benji, we needed a place to have dinner that accepted dogs. Dusty was fantastic., they didn't even sequester us out to the patio. We got to sit inside the restaurant. He got his own bowl of water and a hotdog. He gives it two paws up. While I had the Chicago dog it was fantastic. My friend had the street tacos and they were also really good with homemade soft tortilla chips. We would definitely come here again the next time we visit. read more

Dusty's is incredible, great food, my type of music, and even better owner. Me and my friends came up to Mackinac for a hunting trip and it started off very bad. We messed up the check in time, then in the morning when we planned to scout we found out there were barely any places to hunt. The great man that runs the place told us about a spot to go and now the trip is saved so we owe this guy a lot. Thanks for the great food, great memories, and great experience overall. Realllllly wanted to like this place and for almost $50 was incredibly disappointed. I think they were mad that we said to go and they gave us our stuff to sit down so we asked for it to go bc my "Mac and cheese smash burger" that was their special was half of what it should have been. Literally half a bottom bun and half a burger patty a shit ton of onion rings on the burger and as a side. It honestly just looked so pathetic I didn't even want it.
