I called Comet and was told they use only organic cleaning methods and add no scent. She suggested the perfume smell was in the jacket prior to cleaning -- rude approach. DEFINITELY NO PERFUME SCENT WAS IN THE JACKET since I am highly allergic to perfumes and scents. She said she would review with manager then decide what to do and call me back -- I received no call. In the past, they damaged some of my most expensive clothing. When I brought the damaged items back to show them, they refused to accept responsibility or provide a satisfactory resolution. More recently, they misplaced a pair of my jeans. I had to return to the store twice to ask about them. It wasn't until I kept following up that they searched for them and eventually found them. If I hadn't continued following up, I don't believe my concerns would have been taken seriously. During this process, I was told they wanted to make things right because I had been a loyal customer for so long. I was told they would provide me with store credit in addition to locating my jeans. However, after the jeans were found, the employee called me and said they were no longer going to honor the store credit because they had found the jeans. That was very disappointing, especially after all the time and effort I spent trying to get them to locate my property. Another frustrating part of my experience is that I was never able to speak directly with the owners. Instead, the employees at the front counter were left to handle every dispute. During my previous dispute over the damaged clothing, I stayed because I wanted an answer about my claim. Rather than having an owner come out and address the situation, the employee was instructed to call the police. After multiple negative experiences involving damaged clothing, misplaced items, and poor customer service, I no longer trust this business with my clothes. I cannot recommend One Price Cleaners based on my experience.
