I love Dutch Bros so much I even bought stock in the company. I've visited stores everywhere and have never been disappointed--until today. This one looked promising, with warm and welcoming decor and lots of comfortable places to sit. Service was prompt and friendly. As we had a long drive ahead, we asked to use the restroom, and that's when the disappointment began: We were informed they didn't have a restroom for customers, and offered a suggestion to go to the bus station nearby. What kind of business sells coffee to customers, invites them to sit and drink it, but doesn't provide facilities for them to relieve themselves? Thoughtless at best, cruel at the worst. We stopped in today cause us wrestling mamas needed a little pick me up. District wrestling was going at the at ICCU arena today. We had been there all day and needed some caffeine. I came in with 6 drink orders and I knew this crew was not going to have any issues preparing them. I didn't get the Brorista's name, but he got all my rebels done, grabbed all my iced and hot coffees together. It was raining and we had to walk back to the arena so he added stoppers to all of our drinks. Got them all loaded into carriers for me and we were on our way back. I got tricked by the hype. We walked by in the morning and there were 20 people in line out the door and i thought there must be something to this. Came back later and was second in line. 25 minutes later I'm holding a mocha something or other that is fine but is equivalent of McDonald's or Dunkin. Which makes sense since this is just another coffee chain but we don't have them in my state so I didn't know. If you're reading this it means you were smarter than me and checked first. My cold nitro was smooth and good minus the whipped cream and marshmallow toppings the baristas were offering in the shop with a fast food ambiance. High schoolers will love the place. read more

This place was super crowded on the weekend I visited. I ordered in the app ahead of time and the order wasn't ready when I came in. One thing I also don't love about the app is that there isn't a "no ice option", but rather only a "light ice". The order ahead of time is new for Dutch and I like the concept of it rather than having to wait in lines or the drive through to place your order and for it to be made. I feel like there could be a couple tweaks as far as the in app customizations that could make for a smoother process for app ordering users. As for their quality and taste, I always love the quality of the coffee here. Nothing is too over the top or too sweet like Starbucks. I love you can taste the deep flavor of the coffee and the pumps of syrups add to the flavor, but doesn't distract from the coffee taste. The prices are average and appreciate it not being so expensive for the smallest size. Quality and quantity are better than the average coffee shop in my opinion. read more

Learned once it was too late that this large, otherwise seemingly nice coffee shop has no bathroom for customers and we were sent to the public bus station next door. Extremely low class and tacky to not have amenities for paying customers in a business that serves food and beverages, and I felt absolutely awful to send a client to the basement of a bus station to use the bathroom. First time at Dutch Brothers. I tried a hot caramel mocha, it was so sweet you couldn't taste the coffee, felt like a hot chocolate. I changed it for a regular hot latte, I hate to say it, but it was pretty bad. Instead of tasting the roasted coffee flavor I thought I detected a burnt flavor. All the Dutch Bros Coffee locations I've ever been to have been small drive thru places where you can't go inside. They have no "inside" and it's really meant just for cars. This location in downtown Boise is an actual cafe/coffee shop where you go INSIDE to order and there is seating. It's actually really big and spacious and there's free wifi, so it's good for studying or working. The menu is the same as all other Dutch Bros. I ordered my usual, which is the Iced Annihilator. There were only two employees working at the time, so the orders took awhile to come out. My Iced Annihilator wasn't as good as it is at other locations - it was a little on the bland side. If you need to use the restroom, don't forget to get the code from the barista. And don't forget to get your stamp card stamped (if you have one, you can always start a new one). read more

Cool place with a chill modern vibe. Plenty of different coffee drink options to choose from. Very friendly staff and outlets along the walls for your laptops. There is plenty of seating with regular and stand up seating areas. Parking may be hard to find since it's located in downtown. Also can be loud since the music and noise kind of echo's in the spacious area. A couple downsides are there is not many food options to choose from and the wifi connection keeps kicking you off like every 30 minutes or less. The good thing is there are plenty of restaurants near by if you're hungry. Other than that its a really cool place. read more

A Christmas morning is the BEST drink if you're not a coffee fan but desire a warm drink that reminds you of...well Christmas morning! This is also the first storefront Dutch Bros I have ever been to and it's so nice to be able to sit indoors and not worry about enjoying your drink on the go. Room for improvement. We stopped for a snowy Sunday morning cocoa. I like music as much and maybe more than most, but the volume of the music in this location disallowed a conversation at a normal volume. Don't get me wrong, I liked the music selection, but even when we were ordering we had to repeat our answers more loudly for the staff person. I usually go to a different coffee shop downtown when I need to catch up on some work. That coffee shop was full and there were no table... what to do?!? Well, I remembered that there was a new Dutch Bros. downtown with an indoor sitting area. When I walked from the parking garage I could hear the loud music and the kids (young 20's) were dancing and having fun. This was nice to see. The feeling when you walk in is coffee meets nightclub-- I like that. However, I was concerned with being able to concentrate on my work. However, it wasn't too loud and it was cozy and warm. Overall, it was a pretty chill place-- don't go if you have a headache or have to concentrate too hard-- you may want to just get up and dance your butt off! read more

This location is in Downtown Boise, which often has events as it does 4/18/21. You have two associates here taking orders and making drinks. You have done a disservice to your customers and more importantly a disservice to your associates. Look at the area and events for the month and plan accordingly. This is a must-visit for me whenever I am in Idaho. I love the drive-through concept (sometimes have to wait awhile as there are other like-minded people who must have caffeine in the morning, afternoon, evening or we turn into werewolves and other freakish monsters, but the workers are so cheerful and merry it doesn't feel like a chore), and adore every single thing I have ever had on their menu. Speaking of the menu, since it is so extensive (and they will personalize anything for you if you ask), it's best to decide from the online menu what you want beforehand (you can find it here: https://www.dutchbros.com/menu), although the servers will not get cross with you if you are indecisive. I will admit my personal favorites are their Rebels, which have Dutch Bros version of a Red Bull in them. They are delicious blended, with tons of caffeine and sugar and are responsible for 95% of my productivity whenever I am in Boise. This truly is one of the things that I miss when I leave Idaho (oh, and my sister and family).......DUTCH BROS I LOVE YOU FOR LIFE! If they open one in Southern California, I will take up residence there and my productivity will be off-the-charts/immeasurable! Let's start a campaign to bring them here, y'all!
