This place is so cute and staff is very friendly. They have a small outdoor seating area that is awesome and the caramel breve was delicious!!! I will definitely be back!

We were driving by, saw the cute little building and sign and had to turn around to check it out. Really nice and chill vibes inside. I like the green and white walls, plants, wooden tables and accents. A good flow of people, but not packed or noisy. The other patrons seemed like regulars, and were all friendly. The barista was the only one working, so it took some time to get drinks and get seated, but I'm not complaining. Everyone was patient, she was friendly and helpful. (And we came not long before closing, I'm not sure if they have more staff during bushier hours) Yummy coffee, and a yummy raspberry white chocolate pastry. My partner works nearby and plans to stop by again before work sometime. Will be back!

#6 for 2023 Very convenient from the Hyatt being across the street. It's a small quaint place that's busy almost any tine of the day. Great place to study or get sime wok done. Noise level is not loud at all. Popular with the locals it's good there is a drive thru for tbat quick grab and go. Attendent was genuine and super nice. She greeted us when we came in and said she wpuld be right with us after taking orders from others before us. That gave us time to review the selections. It's the standard menu with seasonal offeringa with delicious pastries. I went qith the white chocolate mocha. Needed the pick up to carry me through thecrest of my work schedule. That hit the spot. As we were leaving we were thanked for visiting. Ompressive because she was taking care of orders the whole rime we were there. I'll be back in the morning.

Does what coffee shops are expected to do. Quick service at the right price. Little to no parking and the drive thru can only hold so many, so I think they may get passed up often. The espresso is pretty bitter in case you aren't looking for that! Black Americano in picture. It was okay.

We were so pleasantly surprised to stumble this coffee shop! The baristas are sweet, helpful, and extremely efficient! They bustled about so quickly we were practically mesmerized that only two of them could pump out delicious drinks so fast! We ordered an Americano with heavy cream, a Caramel Latte, a lemon square, a slice of banana bread, & a lemon blueberry scone. The drinks are superb- made perfectly to order! The banana bread & scone are both better than the lemon square (which we thought lacked flavor). We enjoyed sitting outdoors on the lovely patio! We will be back again!

This place must be special, we share the same blood type ;)

This is a cozy little spot near the Hyatt on Milwaukee. It is no more that 200 yard from the front door of the hotel. The operators of the coffee house really keep everything neat, clean and organized. The one thing that stood out to me was the choices of holiday drinks. They really took a creative approach which is nice. I ended up deciding to have the eggnog latte and it was delicious. It was flavorful and not overly sweet. To sum everything up, this place provides everything you could expect from a coffee shop and is a great spot to revisit in the future.

The decor is really beautiful and has a lot of seating. I even loved that there was a couch outside. I ordered a bagel and a seasonal latte. I really enjoyed my bagel. Unfortunately, the lemon latte wasn't really for me, but I'm still glad I tried it! Understandably, I think the barista who served me might've not wanted to work on a holiday and was a bit short with me. That being said, the service was good overall.

This location is considerably smaller than the state location, not to mention, hidden away in the center. It still has a homey vibe with leather couches, rustic tables and a beautiful wooden bar top area. There were two employees hustling the best they could with a consistent steady line of customers. With this location being smaller, it does get a little cluttered at the ordering register. Unfortunately, my favorite bagel egg sandwich was not available as they were out of egg patties by 11am. At least the Asiago bagels were available and I bumped it up with herb cream cheese. Also got an iced Mexican mocha. Food and drinks did take a while longer to come out, understandably so. I will say that the Mexican mocha was incredibly well balanced and flavorful...much better than the state location. The bagel was toasted, but the outside was a little burnt. The smear of cream cheese was a lot...so much so, that I had to get a knife and take over half of it off (note to self: easy cream cheese or on the side when ordering). Seating outside was nice but the patio was small. Tough to seat 4 people inside when 2 people take the only 4-seater table to work.

Two enterprising young women are owners of this gem of a popular West Bench neighborhood gathering…read morespot that they created in what was an old dump of a 1950's era strip mall space and funded in part with crowd sourcing. Being curious since they opened this in Fall'ish 2024 and finding myself in the neighborhood, this was a destination stop for my husband and me when we went in about 11:30 on a weekday for coffee and a nosh. Pride of ownership shines in the clean and funky feeling interior and it is clearly popular because it was full, almost every seat, of people that seemed from the neighborhood, including a number of parents with young children. They advertise this as coffee and market, but I honestly didn't notice the market part, in that things for sale didn't jump out at me. That may have been because I was just trying to navigate to a seat in and out in the crowded space. THE MO: Coffee and the limited menu for food is ordered at the counter, carry to your seat and bus your own when finished. Although we were the only people at the counter and there were two people in the kitchen, it took quite some time for someone to come to take the order, although once someone finally saw us, they were pleasant, if not welcoming, in taking the coffee order and then again when my hubby went back to order pastries to go with it. MENU: Coffee, other beverages and a very small option of eats is listed behind the counter and on a paper menu there. Options included soup of the day and Gaston's bakery pastries. There were some breakfast sandwiches by local provider Poppyseed Bakery in the fridge section, we weren't told about them but seeing them when passing by the fridge on a trip to the loo, asked if they could be heated and were told they could be. We chose a couple of pastries ($5.50 each) and were reminded why we seldom buy Gaston's products for being too buttery and one note. The cortado ($4) were good. I noticed a woman at the table across from us who was sipping a beverage and eating what looked like a sandwich she had carried in. I don't know if that is part of allowable stuff or not. The pottery used for all of their coffee service, ours and the mugs at other tables, is great. AMBIANCE: They did an admirable job here of making this light and bright and just funky enough with pride of ownership and loving care in maintenance sparkling through. Seating includes a few level in, not step up, booths along one wall, a sofa and chairs near the front and many standard height tables and chairs (maybe too many when all full as getting to seat is tough) and a play area for kids in the corner. It had far less comfortable 'breathing room' space than I anticipated from photos. But I didn't take interior photos to post because I think it is rude to do that when lots of people are going to be in them who maybe don't want to be. ;-) LOO: There are two and both are uni and sparkling clean with great murals on the wall and good plumbing fixtures. My husband even pointed out the "cool" sink. Both are ADA compliant so kudos to them for that. (Yes, it is law and code but you'd be astounded by how many ignore both.) ACCESSIBILITY: One ADA parking spot right outside the door. (There are too few spots for the parking lot but that is not the coffee shop owners' failure. That is the lot owner's issue.) Level in the door. All on one floor. The tables would probably work for a wheelchair user to roll under. But it would be near impossible, based on my experience yesterday (I have had multiple sclerosis since age 20 and sometimes use a wheelchair) for a wheelchair user to get between tables and chairs for a clear path of travel to get to seating or the loo.

I would have never known about this shop if it wasn't for Google or Yelp. I had an hour before closing so I headed in real quick for a caffeinated beverage. Pulling up to the joint, it doesn't look like your basic coffee shop. It honestly looks like an office building. I love that they had Disciples in big bold letters on the door. It was a nice sign that I am in the right place. Walking in, this place is cool. Cool in mood, cool in atmosphere and cool in vibe. It's really quiet and chill. A great place to have an intimate coffee date or work. I was instantly greeted by a gentleman behind the counter. He grabbed my order and got my drink started. I ordered my usual drink today. A small iced americano with cream. They didn't have any sugar free syrup options which is a bummer. He did ask if I want monk fruit or stevia sweetner, I passed on both. He did offer raw honey so I took up on that offer! He finished my drink and I noticed there wasn't any cream. It was filled to the top so it was pretty watered down. He did pour some of the coffee out and added the cream. The raw honey was nice but it still wasn't sweet enough for me so I added a packet of blue sweetner. It's a drinkable cup of coffee but it does lack flavor cause it was so watered down. I had really high hopes for this joint. After reading the reviews, I had high expectations. It looked like they pushed out great coffee! The venue and the gentleman were on point today but my drink was a flop. While waiting for my drink, I noticed all the cool patches from different police departments. Supporting our police departments is so important to me! They protect and serve us so they have my highest respect. I appreciate the different badges on display. I feel bad that I didn't really like my drink. I do want to come back and try again! I don't know if our addition of raw honey threw of dude while he was making my drink. This place is too cool not to come back. If I'm down Chinden again and I'm in need of a caffeinated beverage, I'll be stopping in here again.
