I've been coming to Magic Cup since they opened. Although I don't really stop by Magic Cup often anymore these days due to its location, I always have to get the Oreo Vanilla Frappe whenever I do these days. As usual, the store is clean, and the cashiers are friendly. During my most recent visit a few weeks ago, my friends also got the Caramel Frappe and the Mango Pineapple Smoothie, and all of those were really good as well. In the past, I've ordered their other specialty coffees and smoothies, and all were tasty each time. They have a wide selection of teas, coffees, and smoothies for their drink options. You can customize the toppings (with so many to choose from), sweetness, and ice levels. They also have a nice variety of banh mi options and snacks as well, but I can't say much about their banh mi or snacks since I haven't tried those. Since there are so many options for boba these days around town, Magic Cup is not my go-to place for boba anymore, but it's always nice to stop by every once in a while.

I haven't tried this place in a few years because it's never on top of my list. But my husband wanted to and so we ordered online. Popcorn chicken (1/5) salty and looked old as if they used old oil. Thai green milk tea (2/5) boba was good, but the drink itself wasn't creamy as I like compare to other places Overall, not not be coming back anytime soon.

I read that this is a good boba shop to study in, and it definitely has the seating for it. I thought the boba was so good and affordable. I signed up for rewards to get $2 off, so my boba was only $3.52. Their menu has so many options! I opted for the tiger oat milk tea with boba, which I really loved because it is lactose free with such a great taste. Although tiger (brown sugar) milk tea always tastes good to me. My friend got the peach green tea with aloe vera, which he liked. We used their wifi to study for a few hours and noticed a few other people who came in to do the same thing. There were some outlets by the tables. There were unfortunately some families with very rambunctious children playing games on full volume. The one thing the shop could control was the volume of the music, which we remarked was excessively loud.

Did I somehow make Johnathan angry at me today as a client because I did not deserve the sandwich that I got today . I had an an incredible experience six months ago, which brought me back to this restaurant again and it's going to be the last time. I've had to scroll through my photos, and you will see the comparison of the same sandwich that I got 6 months ago to the exact same sandwich that I got today. Do you see the disrespect that these two employees gave me with this sandwich? I waited in the lobby for at 5 minutes and I was almost debating leaving and I probably should've because when I ordered the sandwich I thought that I was gonna get the same type of sandwich six months ago, but look at the sandwich that I got today. Only one layer of meat and then a second layer of meat both being paper thin it is 1000% not worth the amount of money that I paid for and I will never come back complete disrespect from these 2 young men.

If you have some sweet and savory quick bite cravings while you are studying, you should check this place out. Place is super spacious and chill music playing in the background. I came on a rainy day so there wasn't any people, only two workers and they are fast at making my order. I got the voodoo chicken spicy, give it a 7/10 because it's not only not spicy, it lacks seasoning flavor in general. The chicken bite size is good and tender juicy, would be a good hit if it has more flavor. Omg the magic puffs are great. They aren't too doughy and small bite size so I really like it. It satisfied my beignet craving. Lavender latte I give it a 8/10 it's little too sweet for me but the floral scent of lavender was there but not too overpowering the coffee so it was good still.

I love their drive thru. Sometimes I'm a hot mess and shouldn't be leaving the house so this drive thru really helps me grab my drinks without going in to pick up my drinks. Their Viet Frappe is so yummy and very chocolate tasting.

Kimchi Fries are old and hard when ordered on uber

The food we order on uber eats and walk in orders have decrease on their quality the Kimchis taste hard and old it seems that the new teens running it dont give a hoot on their food and quality i do not recommend this place if you wanna be eating hard disgusting old fries

Magic Cup has been on my bookmark for Wanna Go Post Pandemic. Not because it offers dining rewards, but it's unique and stands out from the rest of the boba tea joints on the west of Beltway. I came here for a taste of lighter side of snacking. I ordered Nouc Mat and veggie egg rolls for takeout. I'm so glad they already included all the toppings in the artichoke drink. Sugar level was perfect. Veggie egg rolls came with 2 containers of sweet and sweet sauce. I wonder if they were made in house. After egg rolls cooled down, the flavor and texture remained. I don't believe restaurant made them. But I prefer this Chinese type better than the Vietnamese type. There were many signs on the doors to warm us about the staff shortage. When I got here, I was the only customer and the dining room was less than a quarter filled. Restaurant was very clean. I like those white tables and chairs. They made clean to show up more. I saw few young customers at the patio area. It is essential to have it fenced in. The restaurant is on the outskirt of the strip mall called AI HOA Marketplace. Sign is new, but I know Magic Cup was here way before the mall remodeling.

We have been here once before & enjoyed our drinks. But this time we came in for 2 coffee drinks & one fruit smoothie. The Vietnamese coffee was just average and mine had two pieces of plastic in my drink. Our daughter in law thought her fruit smoothie was bland. Then when we got home with our receipt, we checked our credit card acct online for something else & saw that Magic Cup had double billed us. We got charged for the 3 drinks before tipping & then again for the full amt plus tipping. We called the coffee shop w/no results. Tried calling corporate & emailed them too...NO results. We finally called our credit card company. This was probably an honest mistake & they are just too busy to respond. Either way we do not recommend them and we won't ever go back. Houston has way too many great coffee shops in town.

Driving around Bellaire, Houston not sure what to drink since there were so many boba shops to choose from. I decided to go with Magic Cup since they have drive thru. However, ended up going inside because my family needed to use the restroom. It was very loud inside. This one group of like 6 made it worse because they talked and laughed super loud. Guess they had to tho because they needed to talk louder than the music so other individuals in the group can hear. Anyways, because it was so loud inside the staff was having a difficult time hearing what I ordered and vice versa. I couldn't really hear what she needed. Guess she was trying to say that I can enter my info to get points. Would have been nice to hear it because I could have receive $1 off on my next order ( I placed 2 separate orders that day because I needed to order another drink). The beignets were fresh and yummy. It was nice that the sauce and powder was on the side. I can dip since I don't like too much chocolate on my beignets. For the price, you do get a good amount of beignets ( : The kimchi fries was also yummy. It blended pretty well. The cheese, greens and fries was so good together. It was a good portion for the price. Drinks...however, was not as great. The herbal tea tasted like a weak version of wintermelon tea. Why didn't they just say wintermelon lol actually, it tasted more like water. The black tea was nasty. I did left it in the fridge and drank it the next day so not sure if that was the reason for the unpleasant taste. So I might need to retry this drink someday. Huge parking lot. Inside was pretty big. Lots of seating Patio seating avail too Customer service was good but again, it was super loud inside

THIS was my cup at magic cup. I paid over $5 for a drink and they could not even fill it up! Rediculous. Tea is not that expensive to fill a cup up!!! Do better!!!

Came here for a late night snack: it's open late and has a driv thru! I ordered the fries with a drink and it came up to about $16 I believe. The fries are def nice and spicy, comes with a layer of shredded cheese and another of melted cheese, bacon if you add it, the kimchi, etc. I thought that the toppings were a little much compared to how many fries you get. Next time I'll def order light on the cheese because it covered the entire box. It was still really good though and the fruit tea was also good. It comes with a bunch of fruit bits and jellies, but I felt like I would've enjoyed it better if I still added boba to it. The fruit bits tasted really fresh though even though I came at the end of the day. I'll def be coming back and trying some other things :))

So there's a sandwich shop not too far from here that's our favorite - but even if that place someday closed down, we'd still go out of our way for Magic Cup. It's a little pricier than some other bubble tea places, but the quality is absolutely worth the cost - and they have a convenient drive-thru if you're getting food from elsewhere. The Jasmine Green Tea with Boba is my go-to, but I've also tried their Thai Green Milk Tea and regular Thai Tea. My husband, on the rare occasions he feels like a sweet drink, loves their 'Cha-Mango' - a blended ice drink made with mango, chamoy, and garnished with a tamarind straw and fresh mango chunks. All of them are great; and even if you get them at their 'default' sweetness level they won't be overwhelmingly sugary. The boba are also cooked nicely, being chewy and slightly 'al dente' with a nice brown sugar flavor. I've also ordered food from here a couple of times via UberEATS. Their customer service is already great, but it really shines here; whenever they've been out of an ingredient, they've called my phone as soon as Uber alerts me to this, offering an apology and a replacement item. They also make a hole in the top of the styrofoam box for delivery, which works wonders for stopping things from 'steaming' and getting soggy in transit! And as for the food itself; their voodoo chicken is great, but can be a little salty if you up the spice level too much. It comes with both sweet chili sauce AND sriracha though, so it's easy to make up for it if you stick with 'Medium' spice or lower. Their selection of banh mis is somewhat limited, but my personal favorite is the grilled pork, which is always tender and well-seasoned with just enough mayo. So yeah; Magic Cup has great drinks, good food, and great service. If you find yourself a regular here, try signing up to their rewards program and text alerts. They frequently offer $2-3 off a drink for various holidays and events, or if you just haven't been in a while. Cheers!

It's not nearly as pretty, far less English friendly, and open super late (#1). While the drinks are average compared to other Viet-owned milk tea spots, it would be considered quite good for places open past 10pm. Post-dinner option? Absolutely. The interior is smallish, but they've managed to cram a good number of seats both in and outside. These are interesting because they remind me of something I've seen in Southeast Asia, namely the fact of furniture is condensed and also at a height that makes it noticeably different from what we would see around most cafes. Late at night, one can always find a decent crowd of young folks drinking and eating just outside the cafe. The wall mural is well done and is something like I would feel like I would see in Vietnam. The claw machines are simply a sign of the times. The drinks are someone average across the board with the exception of their coffee selection. The sea salt coffee as well as the regular cap phe sua da Viet coffee, are quite good. Ube coffee is a tad on the sweet side and the coconut coffee is only recommended for folks who really love coconut. (#2) Milk tea is fine overall but I don't feel necessarily better than the dedicated specialty spots. Fruit-Based teas such as longan is much more refreshing. Surprisingly where I think they shine is the food. The series of bites make for excellent late night snacks. Their coconut Viet style pudding is very tasty, the crispy rice (com chay cha bong) has a nice crunch, the grilled rice rolls (banh trang cuon chien) are good when fresh, stir fried corn (bap xao), and the fried combo (lac muoi tom) is always a hit. Skip the fried dumplings and popcorn chicken. Customer service is generally good. English speakers won't struggle too much, especially since the menu is a picture menu. They accept credit cards and there's plenty of parking almost always. __________ (#1) Midnight every night. (#2) Not the essence, but actual coconut bits.

One of my favorite things was how fragrant the space smelled while I waited for my boba. You could tell there was an exceptional tea aroma lingering despite all the cream and sweetness. The place was exceptionally clean for being so busy, and the workers consistently cleaned as they made the drinks, so you knew you could trust the sanitation here. Drink Design - I have to make a separate comment on how CUTE these drinks were. I loved the intentional sticker placement over the lips and the little carrying handle. You could tell they went the extra mile to make these drinks not just flavorful, but an experience in and of themselves. Even their receipt paper felt luxurious. That sounds ridiculous to point out, but the thought behind every aspect of this place is impeccable. High Mountain Pouchong Tea w. Lemon Juice & Mousse (Creamy Lemon Tart) - After all the sugar I had today, this lemony drink hit the spot with its perfect tartness. The cream had bits of lemon zest in it, adding to the aroma. I tried to adjust the sweetness when I ordered and was told it had a built-in sweetness, but if I found it too sweet, they would happily switch it out for another drink. I felt like I was dealing with Amazon's generous return policy--and luckily, the drink was perfect, so no return was needed! Creamy Mango Tart - Literally like the Lemon Tart, but mango. I loved this just as much and really enjoyed the refreshing flavors of BOTH tarts. Instantly a fan favorite. Dong Ding Oolong Tea w. Fresh Milk - Very mild and creamy, almost like a mellow latte. The vibes reflect their culture well and I'm here for it. They have a bunch of pastries and a wide range of coffees to choose from. I tried the rose Adeni chai. I don't know about the rose part of it. It was basically the a cold foam part of it but I don't feel like the flavor tasted like rose or anything, just had the pink color. The Adeni chai did taste authentic. I also tried the Turkish coffee and that was strong and bold. I don't feel like the taste was too strong for me though, it was easy to drink. I also liked the presentation of the coffee. They put it in a traditional coffee pot. If you like strong coffee then this is for you. I tried the meat samosa and it was crispy and the inside was a mix of onions and minced meat. It had a nice texture for me but the inside wasn't to my flavor of taste. That's just in my opinion because I don't like onions. I then tried the Knafeh cheesecake. The Knafeh wasn't as crunchy as I thought it would be but the cheesecake portion was just like an original cheesecake, tangy and rich. I enjoyed the cheesecake. I guess I was expecting of a more of Knafeh taste like the top would be like half Knafeh instead of like sprinkles. Nevertheless, it was still good it just wasn't what I expected.
