I've been to Kung Fu Tea in California and other states and my experience has always been just okay. I went to this one recently and also felt like this place was just okay. It was late so I didn't want to order a drink with caffeine. Luckily this menu labels which drinks don't have caffeine and they do have a good selection. I opted to try the rosehip lemonade with 30% sugar and boba. I felt like the drink was definitely on the sweeter side and it felt like I was tasting syrup for most of it. I guess I could try 0% sweetness next time if I ever come back. I thought the boba was nice and chewy, and the boba was a good size. My spouse got the mango slush and that drink has a fixed sugar of 70%. The drink was also incredibly sweet. My mom got a taro drink I think at 30% and she was also complaining it's too sweet. read more

Grabbing boba before a movie has become a routine for my husband and I so I was so glad to see this location is right next door to Regal. Overall it's standard chain with all your usual favorites, I tried the Wow cocoa cap because it is in their top 10. If I were to get it again, I'd adjust the sweetness because the boba provides a lot of sweetness on its own. My husband had the lychee Thai tea and that was a winner--just enough sweetness and the tea was powerful. If you enjoy stronger tea flavors, I recommend this one. All in all, I'll definitely frequent this one before a movie but it's not one I'd go out of my way to visit. This KFT location is pretty consistent with all the others I have been to. If you have been to one before, you know what to expect. The only difference is probaby the toppings that you can get. I really like the purple yam because it went really well with the honey oolong milk tea with 30% sugar (lowest sugar level for honey milk tea). They also sell KFT snacks! Craving boba tea and decided to stop by here and check this place out. It is conveniently located in the regal cinema shopping plaza and just 2 doors down on the right with ample parking. It was busy on a Friday evening, but they were very efficient at taking orders. I ordered a sesame matcha milk tea (hot which only comes in large size) with bubbles. You cannot adjust the sweetness in this drink. I like that kung fu tea had many options that come in hot. The drink was made quickly and I was handed it with a straw. The inside is bright and plenty of seating and free WiFi. I took a sip soon as I got it and it is piping hot! The tea is slightly sweet with lots of black sesame seeds in it. The bubble were softer than I like but it's probably because of the tea being hot. It was a nice drink on this cold evening, but I probably will try a different one next time because of the abundance of seeds. Kung Fu Tea is my favorite Bubble Tea franchise. Every time I see one, I usually go. If you're not familiar with Kung Fu Tea, it's a boba tea shop. They have all sorts of sugary drinks from slushes, milk teas, milk strikes, espresso drinks, yogurt (yakult) based, and regular bubble teas with no milk. With your drinks, you can get "toppings." These are extra surprises you can add to your drink for added texture and flavor. These toppings include tapioca balls (boba), pudding, jellies, red bean, and other bubbles of various flavors. The classic, and my favorite, is regular tapioca balls. This place always does them well. They are fresh, sweet, and the texture has just amount of firmness. You can choose your sweetness level for most drinks. I suggest 0% or maybe 30%. The toppings and milk add sweetness already. So no need to add more unless you really like sugary things. This location seems a bit more Mom-and-pop owned. Maybe it's all an illusion, but it does give me a more comforting/family vibe than the ones run by Asian teenagers. They do their slush drinks right. The flavor is the familiar Kung Fu Tea taste. And the consistency is smooth with no ice chunks. That's why I always make the trek out here for slushes even though I have one closer to me. When we first walked in I wasn't a 100% sure what I wanted so the worker at the counter was patient enough to walk me and my wife through some of her favorites options, one of them being the Honey Oolong Milk Tea, so I decided to go with that. Now the drink comes as a boba tea, which I'm not a super huge fan of, mainly because the bubbles can be a lot at times. But overall the drink itself was delicious! I would definitely recommend it whether its your first visit or a regular! Oh and S.N: they will make you pay on the app, due to Covid, and it can be a bit confusing if you aren't careful. Honestly after going to so many bubble tea shops, personally Kungfu tea is still one of my favorites. I usually get the Kungfu black milk tea with less sugar and ice. The tea flavor is very present, which I like. The boba is covered in honey which makes the drink sweet enough while also adding a nice chewiness. My son and I stopped by on a Sunday evening. Indoor dining is closed. Part of the shop is closed off. The staff greeted me as soon as I walked in. I ordered a large sesame matcha ($5.75) for myself and a medium taro slush ($4.95) for my son, both with boba. Drinks were ready within five minutes. We've both ordered these drinks at other KFTs and can honestly say, the taste and quality are consistent with other KFTs. Both are refreshing and sweet, but not too sweet. As others have mentioned in their reviews, the lady behind the counter (likely the manager/owner) is extremely rude and unprofessional. The coffee milk tea my girlfriend ordered was still hot, not mixed well, and very watered down. The flavor of the tea also strongly overpowered the coffee, giving the drink a strange, altogether off-putting taste. When asked to modify the drink, the lady behind the counter refused, saying "this isn't Starbucks." When my partner offered to pay for the modification, the lady nastily stated that she "can but won't" make the change. If you're that miserable working somewhere, please do yourself and everyone else a favor and find something else. Needless to say, we won't be back. Just awful. read more

I typically enjoy Kung Fu Tea, however this was my first time at this location and the woman working the cashier on 11/12/22 at 2:30pm was extremely rude. I was a first time guest and was treated like "hurry up give me your order so I can move on" and when she called my drink name out she called it out wrong so I was unsure if it was my drink--she proceeded to scream at me the correct name of the beverage as if I was not paying attention but she was incorrect: overall the 5 minutes I was in there made me never want to go back to this location.
