I love that Dutch "Broistas" are always very knowledgeable of their menu and always willing to help you figure out a great drink combination. My favorite is a Non-dairy medium decaf hot latte using Oat milk with sugar free hazelnut & caramel. The lines are always moving, and the staff are always friendly. Our favorite "Broista" is Megan... she is awesome! Has a great smile, is super helpful and has a great sense of humor. And Dutch Bros coffee is so much better than those "other places". The employees were so friendly and the wait time was quick. After being here many times never a bad coffee unlike Starbucks which has become a hit and a miss (except for fairmont pkwy & Rhodes location) . I have always been greeted and given great service (no glazing) I went today and there was no line which was prefect the women that was working super nice and sweet they offer me a pup cup everytime I've been here so yes dog are very much welcomed here as well. I love golden eagle chai . But I have also tried some other drinks as well like the energy ones but so far it's been the golden for the win.. My go to was always Starbucks but recently my husband and I have been coming back to back lol as a diabetic i truly appreciate the sugar free options! The sizes are a big plus. Their mediums are what a venti is at Starbucks and a small is a grande basically. I love the variety of flavors and combinations you can do with your coffee. Service is always fast and staff is friendly. I also love that they have protein lattes! I really want to like this location but I just cant anymore. Their customer service needs serious work and they act like you are an inconvenience to their day. Their wait times are also ridiculous. I have ordered at different times during the day and Im always waiting about 20 minutes at the very least. Whether im picking up a mobile order or going through the drive thru its always the same. I recently had to wait an entire HOUR for my mobile order drink. After noticing that the customers who arrived after me got their drinks before me, I went up to the window and asked again about my order and the girl at the window only said "sorry we've had it ready". She placed the drink on the window counter and walked off immediately. As a barista, I absolutely understand how chaotic it can be but waiting that long while also not being acknowledged or updated about my order is not acceptable. This would be absolutely not acceptable at my coffee shop and it shouldn't be acceptable here, but it is. I've tried to give them the benefit of doubt even after this incident and I have just been disappointed time and time again. If you time it just right, you can beat the line! I still haven't figured out the timing on that but it's worth waiting for. I tried the secret menu on this last visit and received a hazelnut truffle mocha blended. Hands down...best coffee drink I've had in years. It was delicious and I will be ordering it again. I've been to Dutch Bros many times since they've opened and it's safe to say that my Starbucks days are now few and far between. It's a little unfortunate that this is the only location near me and it's not exactly close to my house, but if they plan to open more locations later, I'll be very happy with that. I've tried the Golden Eagle, Annihilator, Caramelizer, Cocomo, Kicker, and a few of the non-coffee drinks. So far, the Cocomo is my favorite, and I keep going back to it. It's SO good. I like that they have a wide variety of drinks and flavors so there are so many options that you won't find other places. They also have: Rebels - energy drinks. Dutch Freezes - blended drinks. Dutch Frosts - milk shakes. Teas in many flavors. Smoothies in many flavors. Lemonade in many flavors. Dutch Sodas in many flavors. Chai in I think 6 flavors. Dutch Cocoa in many flavors. As well as a few goodies. (Muffin tops & granola bar) When you pull up, you choose a lane and one of the "Broistas" will come to take your order or you can park and walk up to the building to order. They have a couple picnic tables outside, but there is no indoor seating. One thing that I wish they didn't do is ask you if you'd like to leave a tip. I usually do leave a tip, but I'd rather them just hold the screen up and let you choose how much to leave instead of asking for them to enter it. I know that sounds weird, but it just feels uncomfy to me. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I definitely think it's worth trying even if you don't like coffee. They do have a walk up window that you can order from and have a seat on the small patio-ish seating they have. Otherwise drive through it is! The drive through is the same concept as Chick-fil-A where there are 2 lanes you can drive into to order. There was 5-6 cars ahead of us but really took no time to order,pay, and get our coffee. My husband had the nitro cold brew which satisfied him. I mean can you really mess this up!? If so then probably shouldn't be serving cold brew or any coffee for that matter I enjoyed my kicker! I have heard amazing things from this place. I had really high hopes really. The first thing that caught my attention was the building and the beautiful mesmerizing colors. The line was out of the parking lot when we pulled up on a random Sunday afternoon. We stayed in line for a good 20-25 minutes. I do think there should be a better system to get through the line, but it was okay. I was willing to wait to try this famous coffee. For 2 large coffees it was around $10 or so dollars. The staff was friendly and sweet. Once we got the coffee it taste like any other basic place. There was nothing really special about it, tbh. I think the hype is def not worth it. Since Dutch Bro's has opened here in Deer Park my fiance and I have COMPLETELY dropped all other big chain coffee shops. Their employees are so incredibly nice. Service is always prompt, and delivered with a smile. Mornings can be hectic so if you plan on stopping by before work, make sure you have some ample time. Plenty of sugar free options for those who like to watch their sugar/carb intake.
