I came here on my way home from work yesterday around 4:10 because my app said I had a birthday reward. I don't ever make a thing about my birthday and in fact when I pulled up, I just said I had a reward to redeem and showed my Dutch Pass. The 3 baristas working were very friendly, they all made conversation with me and then out of nowhere, started singing to me and celebrating my birthday. I went to give a tip and was told it wasn't allowed. To you three lovely young people, I had a very challenging day at work and you all turned my day around for the better. After reading about the (now infamous) showdown, I am comforted by the concept of a college-age barista busting a cap in some sneaky snake come to jeopardize such a succulent exchange of goods. An additional bonus is the blue nipple that all hot beverages are equipped with. There is something sweet and nurturing about those caps, something maternal and comforting that eases me as I suckle the warm fluid from the proverbial breast of the Dutch Brothers. Its clearly in the water. Dutch Bros totally and completely has a corner on the market as to how to hire and train people. This location is on the far side of campus from me (I work on campus) and so I go here when I am at a meeting on the other side of campus. I have recently started making the trip out of my way (past my office to double back to my office) in order to go here before work because they know the secret menu and are AWESOME at giving suggestions. They make drinks right here. You get what you ask for. I love Hawaiian Iced Green Tea and they make it right for me every time. They made the best Caramel Eggnog Latte ever for me as well. The service is always prompt and friendly. There are two drive up windows and one walk up. They are in a lot but not with too many spaces. Both of the drive out exits are easy to navigate back onto the road. This is definitely one of my favorite dutch bros! read more

I haven't been to this location since one of their employees shot someone attempting to rob them a few years ago. I'd give them the money. That's what insurance is for. So I'm not a fan of the idea that I could be accidentally shot by some overzealous employee thinking he's doing the right thing in taking a life over some money and saving the business from being robbed. This location has always seemed particularly slower than most. Maybe it's the stereotypical stoner college student persona of their employees that makes it this way. I'm not sure. Line times are long, boring, and painful. If you're in a hurry, this isn't the location for you. They don't come out and take your order in line, like they do at other locations, so they're not proactive. You sit there forever and ever, just to finally get to the window and wait some more. The coffee always seemed burnt and old. They put a ton of syrups in the coffee to mask the burnt and old taste, making them incredibly sweet. They don't have any house coffee, instead they have an Americana, espresso and water. Which is a slightly less than stellar drink. I'm a huge Starbucks fan and I'll stick to that. read more

The people are actually the spawn of sunshine & flowers, I'm convinced there isn't a mean bone in their body.
