We are big Dutch Bros. fans, we just got out first location in San Diego 1 year ago. Anyways, this location was not busy despite being a Friday night. Although it was a little "uninviting" atmospherically, the young men working were busting their butts! It was hot out and they were hustling and friendly. They were super busy and I waited for a while but didn't mind knowing they were going as fast as they could. They needed an extra hand for sure so that's not on them. I frequently go to Dutch bros stands where I live in California so I was excited to visit this Dutch bros and go inside try the ice cream, and see what it was all about. Today we went right before 5pm after visiting family in GP. We walked in and it was very quiet, there were 4 people working at the time and they were all chatting among themselves, the vibes seemed good. Until I started ordering i got rebel and a small ice cream, the young man taking my order was very inattentive he was looking around, outside and all around the store and was very rude he was rushing us through the order (we already knew what we wanted when we got there). We were not being difficult, we got right to the point and only had one question about the ice cream, I asked what kind of ice cream they have and he informed us that they only had coffee flavored ice cream but I pointed out the photo of different kinds of toppings and fun stuff they were advertising. He seemed to not know, or was not willing to let us know what toppings they offered, it wasn't until my boyfriend who is a Dutch bros employee let me know what I could put on it so I asked for caramel drizzle. We got our order and the ice cream didn't have caramel on it, when we informed the employee the same one who took our order, he said nothing to us, reached over the counter, and put an unreasonably small amount of caramel drizzle on top while my boyfriend was holding it. I don't know if I paid extra for the caramel but either way I had high expectations for this stand and unfortunately left pretty disappointed with not a good experience. Also my sister and brother came in a few minutes after me and before I even talked to them about not have a good experience they expressed that the employees were rude and ignoring them while they were there. read more

Super friendly staff! My son and his wife wanted to come here because they love Dutch Brothers. I don't drink coffee and asked if they had black iced tea. I was told that they definitely had black iced tea and ordered one. The tea I received was a flavored tea that did not taste good at all. The color was also very light. My son and his wife enjoyed their drinks, but I did not. I would not go back and order tea. Just a FYI...black tea is just tea...not a flavored tea or whatever it is that you guys are serving. Several attempts with different D.B. coffee drinks, and different Dutch Bros. locations have all yielded the same experience: Exceptional customer service. Inordinately horrible tasting beverages. The coffee is worse than flavorless...it has a bitter, nasty, chemical flavor, no matter what type of drink. I've tried their lattes, cappuccinos, espressos, macchiatos, some kind of flavored caramel thing, mocha...However, even the cloyingly sweetness of it, couldn't mask the coffee bitterness underneath. This place is perfect if you're a high school student looking for a place to look cool, hang with your friends, and generally just loiter. Nothing against them, I used to be in high school too (the Safeway parking lot was our location of choice -- super cool, I know). But as a grad student wanting to enjoy some coffee and do some studying, this joint is the most unproductive environment imaginable. I think we went to this original stand back in 1992! They have never disappointed us, ever! The people are the best! So friendly, and upbeat, says a lot about the company. The coffee is so good. They now have cold brew in a can. I am hoping to find some closer to home, it is that good! Since I am on a weird diet they even accommodated me by running to the grocery store to buy me the correct milk! They even gave it to me to take with me to finish my trip!
