We go to this location regularly because it's the closest to us. Today was the worst customer service I've ever seen/heard at any Dutch Bro location. I get that teens make up the work force at many coffee shops, but they need additional training at this shop. One girl was the ring leader today, she was talking so rudely about how stupid their customers were right between both open service windows where customers could hear her. She talked about how annoying it is when customer don't know what they want to order when they first arrive; saying "what was the thought process in deciding to come here" and "do some research first". Not everyone is a perfect customer, but part of a service job is providing good customer service to different types of people. What's up: It's our last few hours in Oregon and one of our things to do was to try out a Dutch Bros. We did a quick look around and found this to be the closest near us. Parking: They have a parking lot but the thing to do is to use the drive thru. Environment: These little drive thru coffee places are popular. When we arrived, there was already a line but the wait wasn't too bad. It goes by fairly fast. When we got to the guy taking orders, we actually didn't know what was on the menu and asked for one...whoops, sorry we the newbs! lol. He gave us a mini menu for us to take and told us we can place our order at the window. The staff members were friendly and the one at the window was very easy going as she took our order. We got our drinks after a short wait and off we went! What was ordered: - Cookie Dough Cold Brew (not too sweet) - Nitro Infused Cold Brew (smooth) Yay/Nay/Meh: Yay. This is definitely my favorite Dutch in town. 1st of all you really can't go wrong with a Dutch Brother's. But this Dutch in particular maintains the service that I am used to from the Eugene area. I have not found very many up in the Portland area that replicate what the Dutch brothers encompass down in Eugene Oregon. This one is it though... conveniently it's on my way to work as well lol The service is always extremely friendly and helpful. They always ask how your day is going and/or how you're doing. The location is clean. There is a walk up window if you so choose, but I most often go through the drive-through. Often it's very very busy which is reflective as well of their service and good coffee. It does have a convenient location and the drive- through is easy to access as long as you know where you're going and what you're doing. I'm not going to even worry about going through the various drinks because there's frankly just too many to go through. If you're looking for a little extra fun make sure to get the soft top. I was resistant to it at the beginning but now I really enjoy it. Overall if you like coffee whether sweet or not this is the place for you. I don't know that I've ever had drip coffee here but I've definitely had an Americano. I tend to like my drinks a little bit sweeter even though I get sugar free so I may have a different perspective of the others. If you like hot tea they have a hot cinnamon tea which is amazing. If you like iced tea they have green tea and black tea if you're in the fruit tea flavors try a green tea with Grapefruit Orange and Lime. Unfortunately that cannot be made sugar free so I don't get it. But my mom gets it and she loves it. I don't find that Dutch brothers has the burnt flavor that Starbucks Coffee has. I look forward to when hydroflasks and the like can be sold here again. I really miss all of that... This location is always a great way to start my morning.. I go here daily and today was the first time I've had a bad experience, I have never had an issue upgrading a reward medium drink to a large and paying the difference at any Dutch bros I've ever gone to but two employees here said they couldn't do it and gave me a shitty drink today that was spilled out onto the outside and a mess by the time I got back to my house. Only reason I'm giving 3 stars is because I've had so many other good experiences here, hoping that it was just a bad day for them because it's so hot outside, but man be more willing to work with your customers especially your regulars. Worker was really excessively rude when we accidentally went ahead of a car in order. I totally understand that order is key in busy environments but the car let us in and wouldn't move for us to merge. And it was pitch black so they couldn't see us signaling them to go. It wasn't our fault at all for the disordering and we apologized MULTIPLE times at the window, but the worker made sure to be extra rude and emphasize how it was our fault and how we cut in front of the line when that just wasn't the situation. It just wasn't necessary at all for how rude she was given the situation. I'm talking so rude our mouths dropped. Girl to girls working in a customer service environment that wasn't necessary at all. Drove through as it is my mom's birthday & she even received a notification via email 5 in the morning so she could claim her drink today. So before, I ordered I explained to the young lady taking my order that the app was not allowing us to log in as it needed to verify email but no email was being received, or sent to me at all so it would not let me log in my dutch bros application. It is assigned to the correct email, even the app showed what email it should've been sent to, even checked spam, all you could do, and I had even attempted multiple times throughout the day to figure it out, because who wants to not access to their account? nobody. I even showed her the one email we received today at 5am earlier in the day that did state we did in fact have the birthday reward for today, so I don't understand why the chunky tan girl at the window said she couldn't do a simple birthday drink when I showed her that one email we did receive that had proof! She then proceeded to ask if we had id & my mother did not have her id because, she leaves it in her own vehicle as I drove her in mine for the day, so we couldn't provide it. I personally work at a coffeeshop and we do not blame our customers for the app malfunctioning. I normally order a surprise green tea because I'm not good with coming up with a flavor pairing of my own. Now doing this means that you're open to trying new things, which does not bother me at all. Location: not hard to find, it's their signature small drive up shack, or you can walk up to the window. Parking: there's minimal parking, but if it isn't busy, you'll get a spot. Drinks: now one of my favorite things is the fact that if you're unsatisfied with you're drink, they'll make you a new one- while you keep the first one you already have. This Dutch is a joke. I want to start by saying I've been in the service industry for 11 years and am actively fighting the "cancel tipping culture" kick people are on. I have been getting the same drink for 4+ years. It has never changed, nor has the accommodations response I get. Medium 911 with 4 extra shots in a large cup. I want my full medium drink I paid for, on top of 4 extra shots I also paid for. Today I was met with "if you want a large cup you have to pay for a large drink because the volume of the drink is accounted for in the size." What?! I'm not asking for extra product, I'm asking for extra ROOM for my additions. I paid for everything I'm being given. I've ordered this drink numerous of times from this same stand. What's the problem? Is this stand struggling that bad to pay for the remodel they are doing? On top of the annoyance, I was given a boba straw. Anytime they have been out of colorful straws they have ALWAYS been a clear straw. Go to cash and carry for christ sake. Now I get to drink my drink with an enormous straw that doesn't even taste right on top of it. Not a big deal but it's the cherry on top. Every single time I go through this Dutch they make my order incorrectly in some way or another, and some of the bro-ristas are quite rude when I ask to verify my order and/or are rude when I point out it's inevitably incorrect. I stick to a couple very basic usuals and I order them the same way every time so "this is what you ordered" is 1. Simply not true, and 2. Not at all helpful. Or when the person making the drinks clearly realizes they made a fundamental error in creating the drink and the person in the window argues with remaking it, saying "no, we'll just throw some [main ingredient] on top." I give two stars because this isn't every bro-rista here, but it's been enough that I simply don't go to this location anymore. I'd rather wait in a longer line at a Dutch down the road than be talked down to about my drink order. Again, it's not everyone here. But it's been several. As a generally non-confrontational/no-fuss person, I already don't like making an issue about my drink. I don't understand places these days. I was at Jack in the Box yesterday and they had a TIP cup placed outside the drive-through window. ????? Dutch Bros asks if you would like to leave a tip. That is very rude and presumptuous to do that. If I am in a sit-down restaurant and order a meal and someone comes and checks on me and refills my drink, etc....., then I will tip if I received good service.
