We were on the way to the airport in Sacramento and had just left my daughters house and this was right on the way. I've been once and remember that the coffee was good. So on this morning it was cold, like 39 degrees. It's right off the highway and easy to get in and out. I mean the drove through was narrow but I was driving a van. The service was excellent, my wife orders like 30 things in her coffee, not sure if that describes it well enough but it was made awesome according to her. I had a black coffee and it was great as well, I know I'll stop here again when visiting my daughter that's for sure. read more

My wife and I were coming back from a short business stop in Gridley. We were excited when we this place on the opposite way because the one near us in Yuba City is always so packed. As we were heading back, we pulled up to this DBC and was greeted by a lovely worker who took our order, and was kind and considerate as they did. It was already hot and barely 9:00 a.m. but this young person did not let that bother them. After taking our order, they asked us what we were up to and we let them know and they were happy to hear what it is that we do. The worker then added a little something extra to our order as a way of saying "thank you" and repaying our kindness to others by sharing kindness with us. We thanked her, and continued smiling as we pulled up to the window. They too were filled with joy while dancing to country music and handing us our drinks, and dancing. This branch has good space, great workers, and the quality of the drinks and foods are amazing. After a long drive from LA to Live Oak (5-6 hour drive) we stopped at Dutch Bros for some coffee. At first sight, this coffee shop can be overlooked since it's a small shack; however, it's your loss if you do. The coffee is great! And associate Kaden was a dream to talk to especially after such a long drive. I was super impressed, and hope Kaden is a reflection of all Dutch bro associates, if so, I will definitely be back and recommend anyone to stop by. read more

When you're supposed to be open until 11 and only have 3 cars in the drive thru, why are you closing 10 minutes early? What happen to this Dutch Bros? The service here is so unprofessional!! You can wait in line in the drive ~thru and they are so busy talking with their friends who walk over to visit, you are left sitting 5 minutes to place a order. They have a heavy set blonde woman working that talks like a truck stop lizard and looks like she rolled out of bed. If I could give negative stars to how this place has gone downhill in the past couple months. They also made my drink wrong not once but twice! Holy cow! The Annihilater will get your day off to a buzzing' start if you need that extra jolt to kickstart your day. I came here during opening day and got a free medium coffee drink (free 5am - 11am) and the Annihilater, which I got iced is too much for me to handle. It's a concoction of chocolate macadamia nut and creamy white milk with two shots of espresso. I drank half and put the other half in the fridge. When I arrived at this new location in Live Oak around 7:30am, the line wasn't terribly long. Maybe only 7-8 cars ahead of me; so the drive thru went really quick. Once I got in line, girls in colorful attire greeted us and handed out stickers and menus. I got one that said, 'Real Men Drink Dutch Bros'. The girls inside were cheerful and high spirited. So far I'm pretty impressed with this store. Keep it up! I pass through here often, so I'll be returning. read more

Low quality coffee beans. Figure out your Americanos when you feel it up with water all the way to the top it doesn't taste like coffee it take like coffee flavored water. Nasty. Either use 2 full shots like you should or don't fill it up with coffee all the way to the top. I think most people still prefer quality over quantity. They always try the whole generic small talk which is just cringey - while their music is blaring so they can't hear your responses anyways. My encounter here was an odd one, I recall coming here mid day and it was not very busy at the particular time. There was a larger white male who was taking orders on his ipad and when he came to take my order he began to take shelter inside of my vehicle. Well, since this Dutch Bros opened up last year, it's been getting better - better customer service and better drinks. At first I would avoid this place here because they would always mess up my order or the drinks were just bland and watery. I wish they had one of these down in SoCal, but my wallet doesn't. I'm an intermittent/occasional Starbucks visitor, but if I had one of these down the street, I'd be there every day. I had my first Dutch Mafia experience about 2 years ago, and when I was back in NorCal a few months ago, I drove 30 minutes to get to this one (which was the nearest). Definitely wasn't disappointed. I got an iced Cocomo, and it was just as delicious as I remember. Also, their muffin top things are freakin' legit. This is the SLOWEST Dutch bros location ever!! My husband & I love DB. We have for years. They are usually fast & always consistent with flavor. But for some reason, in Live oak, they take 10 times longer than any other location every single time. Today, there was literally nobody else in line so we thought for sure we had time to stop. They took 20 min to make 2 blended coffees, AND they hand blended them & there are huge ice chunks in both our drinks. We order the same thing every time. We love the consistency of DB coffee. Today our coffees aren't even drinkable, and we don't have time to go back for a refund because now are are 15 min behind schedule. We are NEVER stopping in live oak again. Not ever. And again we've been DB fans for years & years. I went to the live oak grand opening. We really wanted to love this location as much as the others. But it's just not worth waiting 20 min when we are the only car & then getting giant chunks of ice in our coffee. Not worth it. Wish I could give this location zero stars. read more
