The first time we ever had a Dutch Bros Coffee was up in Oregon. Can you imagine our excitement when we started to see these businesses popping up all over the place here in the Valley? If you like a huge selection of flavors, this is your place! I am a huge fan of the frozen/blended coffee drinks, so this is definitely a place I would highly recommend to anyone else in that boat! The flavors are almost endless...though one thing you may want to do is to look up their menu online. The menu they have outside of the drive through is limited to only a small selection of their more popular flavors/drinks. And the only real negative I have is that we just went by here for the first time in quite a while, so when I went to order my Black Forrest frozen drink, the gentlemen had to break the bad news to me...they no longer carry the cherry flavored syrup! NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!! I was able to pick a different coffee rather easily, but that Black Forrest was my ABSOLUTE favorite and it breaks my heart that they no longer carry the cherry flavor! I hope that the worker took my recommendation seriously when I told him to tell his boss that they NEED to bring that flavor back! But all in all, this is a great business with delicious drinks, decent snack foods, and what always seems to be very happy and friendly workers! The folks in the Drive Thru lane said they don't have them but I'm stuck in the drive thru lane so I thought I'd ask at the window. I told the young woman in the window that the folks outside said they don't have them. She tells me those folks are new and don't know anything. Who's training these folks? And shouldn't someone train this person not to say things like that to customers? I told her I wanted 2 boxes but to please check the expiration date since I had previously been given expired products at this location. She was gone from the window for a bit and when she returned, the expiration date tag was picked at and then finally she just took a sharpie and crossed out the date so it couldn't be read at all. I questioned her and all she said was, "Your fine" like she was doing a JEDI mind trick and just waved me on. I didn't want to deal with her and hold up the line so I parked and walked in to ask for different boxes. The boxes they had were filthy and had an expiration date of 08072023 and I was purchasing on 08032023. I asked for a fresher batch as these boxes were close to expiration and they were filthy, covered with dust but that's all they had. I sent a complaint comment to Dutch Bros and they responded with "Please know we take the cleanliness and sanitation of our shops very seriously. We truly appreciate this feedback as we ensure we will be reaching out to local management to address this issue at the shop. They will make sure this is handled immediately and appropriately." They gave me a little gift card too but no comment at all about how they try to sell products that are near expiration and when asked about it, they cover it up with a sharpie and just say, "You're Fine" and hope you leave. Just be careful of this location where training is suspect, the location is dirty, the products are old and as it gets close to expiration, they cover it up with a sharpie. Food and beverage locations should have inventory control procedures to make sure products are fresh and the locations are clean! I like these guys. This location happens to be 24/7 and was one of the bright spots of my late night visit to Lodi. Considering that I had a sick relative in the hospital in Stockton and that I got racially profiled in the neighboring Walmart, this crew was extremely nice, understanding and accommodating. I didn't know what I wanted because their menu is HUGE. Still I informed the young lady that my wife had been hospitalized with pneumonia and that I'd need tons of caffeine to make it through the night. I told them that I wanted something with an iced caramel macchiato vibe in medium. They hooked up a tasty drink for me, upgraded me to a large at no extra cost and they made it look fun. This place deserves no star. My wife and I spotted this place after coming out of Walmart. We went through the drive-thru. First issue, no menu. It was set up like a In & Out. A lady waited outside to take our order. When we asked how are we suppose to know what was on their menu, she said go on their website. So we did, holding up the line. We finally ordered two coffees, a pizza bagel, and a everything bagel with cream cheese. When we got to the window we were met with a young boy that had an I don't care attitude only conveyed successfully by Judd Nelson in The Breakfast Club. He gave us the wrong coffee order. When we returned it back he gave us a look like we were inconveniencing him. He then gave us the wrong bagel order. Once again we corrected him. That's when he told us they were out of pizza bagels. So we just took two everything bagels. We left the drive thru and parked our car to eat and drink our coffees. The bagels were cold and hard. So hard in fact if I threw it at the building it would of collapsed. Then I noticed they didn't even put the cream cheese on the bagel. They gave us a plastic knife and a little tube of Philadelphia cream cheese. They gave us a card for when we came after our tenth time we get something free. My wife and I threw the card away. I'm am a fan of Dutch Bros. The first one I ever went to was one in Oroville. We went on Christmas eve and Christmas day. This one is great too! We ordered an annihilator cold brew and a cocomo freeze. Both were delicious! Cocomo is my go to drink, although it is quite sweet. I recommend a Cold Brew drink if you're looking for something a little less sweet. This location also has a drive thru as I believe they are all suppose to have them because that is the Dutch Bros thing. Service was good too. All the staff was young and filled with energy. They also have a stamp card and they helped me combine my multiple stamp cards. Will for sure be coming back. read more

I was excited to see that this Dutch bros location was a cafe rather than a stand. There were tables on the inside and the outside. The inside was spacious and clean. The environment was enjoyable and the music was good! The bathroom was also clean. Parking was easy; there was parking right outside of the cafe. The employees were very friendly and accommodating! They were quick at both taking orders and making the drinks. The drink was ready in about 2 minutes. I ordered a decaf medium, iced s'mores mocha. This Dutch bros location is always pretty fast! And super friendly workers. But the last two times I have gone-- my hot drink has been barely warm. Not sure if they make the drinks and then they just sit there for awhile, but I've had to ask them to rewarm my drinks 2 times! The service at the window has definitely gone downhill at this location (Kettleman Lane in Lodi). Today, probably topped it off the most as being one of the worst times. I don't know if they were short staffed, but they didn't have anybody outside so everybody was ordering at the window. I got in line with only three cars in front of me so I thought it would be quick. It ended up taking 25 minutes, meanwhile about 15 or more cars continued to pile up behind me. Finally a gal come out and she was really nice. But the girl at the window was fairly rude. Then come to find out my sister-in-law had went not that long before to me, and they had an extremely rude experience with the same girl at the window. Prices have definitely gone up (I know due to the economy ) so I don't go as much but the reason I used to go to Dutch more than I would go to Starbucks was definitely because of the atmosphere and how bubbly and friendly the staff was... Apparently that has changed. Dutch Bros Coffee is always my go to coffee place. I have been to the one in Davis, Woodland, South Sacramento, and Elk Grove several times. This is my first time stopping at this location and it looks cool! This location the owner turns it into a cafe instead of just a stand! Their drinks still awesome as usual. What a cool Dutch...saw this as we were leaving Lodi today. You would've thought my teenager and her friend saw Justin Bieber when they sighted this Dutch. Inside pretty plain but super clean and modern. Loved the walk up concept only because I am not a huge drive thru person because like the 1:1 human interaction. Inside greeted by a super friendly Dutch employee and the mood inside pretty legit. What I love about Dutch is their cold brew it is hands down one of the best if not the best I have had. So smooth and the nitro adds just another level of smoothness. I usually get it with sugar free vanilla and 1/2 and half. This is one of my guilty pleasures and absolutely love this drink. My daughter always gets their energy drink blended and even though don't like those but the one here is pretty tasty. read more

One of the weaker stores in the area overall in all areas. I go here typically once a week at least, usually on a Saturday. Drinks are very inconsistent, my Tiger's Blood Rebel and sugar free peach Rebel and Soda never taste the same like they typically do at the Stockton, Galt, and Elk Grove shops. Also, they are pretty slow at times, and they don't have a very good way of routing the queue since their line setup is tiny compared to other Dutch shops. This is also not helped by the fact that the only place for the queue to naturally form crosses a parking lot intersection, and they don't have anyone watching the line on busy nights like tonight (Saturday) to watch for line jumpers. It happened to me and there were at least 4 cars behind me at the time. I mentioned it to the worker and they said it happens often but they can only do something if they see it... so why not have someone watching for it if it happens often? Anyway, the shop off of Cherokee has a much better queue setup as it's a dual line and their shop is in its own corner area. Definitely recommend going to the Cherokee shop if at all possible. read more

Absolutely love this place! So accommodating in making my White Zombie however I wanted it and it was amazing! I've been several times and always a wonderful experience. And exactly how I wanted it. I tend to switch it up- and they're always perfect! The selection on sugar-free is outstanding. Far more superior than any other coffee shops I've been to. So excited when our little town was graced with a Dutch Bros. I learned within the first couple of days to navigate the long lines, and from hasty Google search of Dutch Bros, you can seen their menu online. Call me crazy, but I don't walk into a new establishment and NOT research the menu prior online if available. Hint. Most place have their menus online. This Gal loves a latte with an additional double shot at 5:45am, Monday-Friday. The killer customer service is what kills me. I'm not a talker at 5 something in the morning. Give me my caffeine leave the conversation. Drinks and service are on point. Those kids work hard in the cold, rain, & at 3am! They're also so great! My Friend and his husband have literally drove up from Modesto every weekend for Dutch Bros, oh and to visit my fiance and me. It's starting to become our Saturday tradition. The enterance to the Delta at Hwy 12 and I-5 could definitely use a Dutch Bros. The hidden Starbucks has left a lot to be desired on that side. read more

Never have I ever given a yelp review but my experience tonight was really disappointing. Myself and a ton of other cars showed up Almost an hour before closing. Orders only being taken at the window and the line moving undeniably slow that by the time that many of us got to the window they just say "sorry we're closed" without any remorse for everyone that waited. I had never heard of this coffee shop until a recent visit to Lodi, CA and Portland, OR. the menu is MASSIVE. I suggest looking the menu up online selecting a drink then proceed to nearest Dutch Bros location. I've tried the following:White Widow,911, Americano, French Vanilla Latte, Chai Latte and some of their iced teas and their version of an energy drink (think Red Bull mixed with flavors such as watermelon lime, etc). I specifically drove to this location because it had a lobby to walk in and order. I got there and it was closed. So we went through the drive thru the guy who took our order was really friendly. However, there was a lot of confusion about our order they couldn't find it and kept trying to give us the wrong order. I was already having a really bad day and I was on the phone stressed out when I ordered. When I got up to the window for my coffee, I completely forgot I did not tell them I wanted my coffee with coconut milk. I felt so bad I almost didn't want to tell them, but I knew I was not going to drink regular milk. I told them about my mistake as they were trying to hand me my drink with the regular milk. I asked for a large green apple rebel with crushed ice and this thing looks like they just poured nothing but redbull in it.(and exactly what it tasted like) ‍‍‍ . $7.50 for a large and I even tipped $2 bucks and got this?? I would of been better off just buying 2 redbulls from the gas station with ice..... The elk Grove location seems to have better service and happier employees than this one.
