I went to view the African American experience with the Hanford work site and beyond. In the 40s through the 60s east Pasco became a vibrant town filled with homes and businesses in spite of the racism that redlined housing and business opportunities for people of color. I found the exhibit enlightening and engaging. I loved the small collection of photos, especially the one of the baseball players. I'm looking forward to seeing the map recreation that will pinpoint the locations of houses and businesses during this time and before leveling of them in the name of "urban revitalization". I am 80 years old and the more I know about our history the more I have come to understand that we have never been a kind and generous culture to most people. We can be shortly after a tragedy strikes but then our fears of "other" takes hold of us and we regress: Sadly so. I will return to this lovely, warm and welcoming place.

By the time I received my order, there were at least seven cars behind me. All of the locations in the Tri-Cities seem to have long wait times. With your employees…read more Yesterday my friend and I went to this specific Dutch, not only was the baroista rude as heck but she was just rushing us to order our drinks. Like I totally understand that they had a whole lot of cars in the drive through and you guys are on a time crunch but that doesn't excuse your poor behavior. I didn't quiet catch her name but she was a long black hair girl with eyeliner make up on and was wearing on of your guises pink vest which I assumed it to be for them when they go out in the parking lot to take orders. Not only that but when I had asked about the "Lanyards and pins" that were being given away with any size drink she straight up just shut me down and was like "no we don't have any" with such a rude tone. And to add the icing on the cake my drink was watered down with no strawberry popping boba even though I paid full price for my drink. I didn't like the way she was speaking to 2 men who obviously weren't able to speak the English language that well.
