I'd suggest a better way of keeping things clean. The lady that made my coffee was also the person who accepted my money as well. I did not see her wash her hands when she was making my drink or wash them before she grabbed my straw and held it by the tip where the customer is supposed to drink from and then proceeded to put it in my cup. We have all gone through the food handlers card process and it would be nice to have someone who actually listened to what the course had to say. But it's just also basic cleanliness. Be careful with asking for straws because honestly you don't know where the employees hands have been but for sure they were all over the straw. read more

My wife and I have gone to get coffees every morning for the last few years, primarily from Firehouse. Though, for the last year or so we have completely stopped supporting their business. That is not without countless second chances. It seems every time we go back and try again, we are reminded why we go somewhere else. It starts with the service. Ordering anything more than one drink is next to impossible to do without having to repeat yourself multiple times. It's not a language barrier or a hard time hearing that causes the problem. It seems to be that the baristas can't seem to remember. It's quite frustrating when they take your order and leave to go make it, only to return a minute later to ask you to repeat your order. This wouldn't be such a problem either if when they did come back with your drink, it was correct. I find myself having to remind them each time that we had ordered our drinks with whipped cream on top, or drizzle, or even that we needed straws. All of this is hard to overlook when it comes time to pay. The price of their drinks has seemed to jump over the moon in the last year. Quite frustrating to order an overpriced frappé, only to be charged an extra dollar on top of that because it's blended. A pair of 32oz drinks could quite possibly cost you $20. Couple that with stamp cards being removed and a staff that does not bother to use the phone number system that was meant to replace them. This leaves you questioning what part of your experience is worth so much. Firehouse has not always been this way. Before what seemed to be, a total overhaul of the staff, we never really had these issues. We paid reasonable prices for somewhat decent drinks. If our faces weren't recognized as regulars, we could at least have our order taken by a competent barista or at the very least, one that had a pen and paper. However nowadays, it seems to be mostly new faces that don't seem to care about their jobs. As a pair that spends roughly $150 a week on coffee, our business seems to be appreciated much more elsewhere, and that is where we will be taking it. read more

No thanks for the tip (my usual place that starts with a R, is always appreciative), window girl hands me a hot mocha with a broken lid, coffee dumps in my lap right then and there. Any offer to take it back, a towel, something? No, just some napkins. Wow. Owners of this place, maybe rethink who you are hiring? Great prices. They have two windows and I saw no sign that indicted to pull to the 2nd window. So I sat there for a few minutes. Someone opened the first window and told me to pull to the second. Great little spot for coffee! The staff was very friendly and seemed to love their jobs and takes pride in outstanding customer service. I was referred here by my sister who claims supporting small businesses is the way to go. I agree with her totally. I ordered the backdraft breve while had mild hints of caramel and vanilla. The 32oz was just out of this worldly big!!!! I also ordered a chai tea latte for the wife which she claimed was better than Sharehouse Coffee's version. I had a tiny sip and it seem to pack the flavors there. The breve was missing something. The flavor of the Backdraft breve seemed to just fall flat. No smooth coffee flavor, nor was it pack with decent flavor. Mildly disappointed, however with their friendly smiles and great customer service. It was definitely the highlight of my visit! I'll definitely be back since i seen they also serve bagels...which I'm a sucker for. Give them a shot guys and show them some love. read more

I have been a Starbucks coffee drinker for over 20 years. I ended up going to Li'l Firehouse one day while waiting for my mom to finish her appointment. It is probably some of the best coffee I've ever had. It is hard to describe the taste/flavor, you will have to try it for yourself. You will not be disappointed. Just today (4/10/19) my wife and I want to go for a stroll and I just wanted 3 shots of coffee in my own thermos and she got a sugar cookie to the sum of $8; 9 +tip. The time before they charged my wife latte price $4.25 for a small americano? And she had to notify them...Next time my wife and I will continue on walking to any place near by like the coffee bean or fusion...any place but this dump; run by high schoolers with no oversight or management to ensure honest business is being performed. read more

Not only are the drinks amazing, but I love the upbeat attitudes of the workers here. If anyone were to say a work against these guys I would just assume the customer is a grumpy pants! I have been staying away from coffee lately and switched to energy drinks mostly because of firehouse. The strawberry blaze is a strawberry lemonade that I avoided getting at first because I don't like tangy or tart tastes, but it sweeter than expected and borderlines on perfect. To the point that I was converted away from coffee *gasp* I did have their Boston coffee which is essentially a caramel macchiato. I had both sugar free and sugary and they were both really good. I tried the dutch bros the other day for energy drinks cause their coffee makes me sick and it was just so disappointing and more expensive. When N and I stopped through the drive thru to grab a couple iced coffees to-go, we weren't greeted with a cheery and smiling barista (like we are accustom to), but rather a quite, meek, and shy young girl. I figured since this establishment is fairly new, this may be her first job, so I wasn't too concerned. I quickly gave our order, which was some "fire" / "fireman" like names, and then gave my cc. It took an excessive amount of time to get our order even though we were the only car at that time. I was excited to try the new coffee because of reviews I had heard from some friends of mine. I, however, was deeply disappointed. The coffee tasted burnt and it wasn't cold at all. I had only 5 ice cubes while N had about 7. The combination of the service and taste has influenced our return.
