Good location coffee shop in Richland WA. Perfect for a long drive. Busier Sunday drive thru if you're in a pinch for time. We didn't see any other menu besides the one close to the drive thru window so we asked the barista for one so I thought I'd take a photo of it for everyone else hoping To try this drive thru coffee spot if you don't know what to get! I think the iced coffee I picked tasted good if you enjoy vanilla and caramel flavored coffee! The karamel-macchiato kup was pretty delicious. The only reason I didn't make this review a 5 star because there were no other options to see the menu besides by the window & online which I could not get to pop up during our wait in the drive thru. read more

Stopped by for a cold drink and a place to get some planning done. It was a clean aesthetic, dark and industrial inside, with tables and couch seating to choose from. There is a small menu available near the cashier, so you have to know what you want or wait until you get to the front to order. I was passed around by the staff, as it felt like they were busy doing something else. But the young man who took the order was friendly and efficient. Our drink was good, a Red Bull mix that was pretty potent. I am exploring the area, and may stop back in for a bite next time. read more

I know customer service is not the BEST job or the most exciting, but sometimes employees are rude for no reason. We had the nicest window person today! We have been coming to Kozy Kup since it opened. We love the drinks and food. Unfortunately the last visit was not stellar. The gal who took my order was super nice. I ordered a tea based drink and asked if it could be iced. I was assured that it could. When picking up my drink the barista told me that my drink cannot be served cold. She informed me that I should never order it this way again because she had to steep the tea in cold milk, so it won't be very good. I was taken aback. I was handed a drink that was not good. In the future if a drink cannot be made to order perhaps let the customer know or note on the menu "hot only". Also maybe offer to make a suitable substitute instead of charging someone for a drink that you know is subpar. read more

On the plus side: they offer a wide selection of coffee alternatives that I've wanted to try; it was a great opportunity to check out Mud/Wtr for a very reasonable price. The menu is extensive and varied. The yogurt parfait was also quite tasty. However, the FLIES are a problem. They are persistent and EVERYWHERE; it's obviously an ongoing problem since a couple tables have the little fly-chaser gizmos that you can set your food under to keep the flies off. I wouldn't mind going back to try the other coffee alternatives to see if they interest me long-term... but I'll wait until the dead of winter when there aren't any flies. As a side note: I forgot my purse and had to backtrack 30 minutes down the highway for it. No one has picked it up from the table; when I walked in and grabbed it, the barista called, "oh-we wondered who left that!" They weren't busy, and no one has taken anything... but you'd think they'd have at least put it behind the counter after it sat abandoned for five-ten minutes. The only place to find a phone number for them is on Yelp, and all my calls and emails while backtracking from Prosser went unanswered. So... not a dealbreaker as a restaurant, but it definitely wasn't impressive, from a customer standpoint. I'll still probably go back in January to check out other coffee alternatives, for my own personal research. read more

My husband and I went through the drive through here and my husband ordered me "something caramel." The girl that made my order created the most delicious coffee I've ever had! I believe she said it had caramel, butterscotch, chai - just an abundance of flavors that went so well together! I was so appreciative that she went the extra mile to create a specialty drink on the spot and didn't just grab something generic from the menu. We will definitely be back! read more

Was my first time so I asked the barista what to order or how to order... I got a 16oz blue lotus. My issue here is that I feel like the art of a coffee/drink shop is handcrafted beverages. All the barista did was poor blue liquid into a cup of mostly ice and still leaving 1 inch from the top of the cup empty?? I was charged $5 and still tipped a $1. I just don't know what I paid for here??? I'd probably still give this place another shot but I wouldn't order a lotus again. I *want* to like this place. When Ethos closed down on Keene, I was excited that a new coffee shop was opening up on my route to work. Since Kozy Kup's initial opening, I've stopped by here multiple times (more out of convenience, than anything else). In general, the service/drinks/and interior setup (for studying purposes) are, at BEST, average. On more than one occasion, my drink order has been wrong. Conversely, when my drink order *is* made correctly, the service is mediocre. Irrelative to everything else, the coffee is actually pretty good. However, after my experience today, their "pretty good" coffee will not be enough for me to warrant a stop. Let me explain... This morning, I went through the drive-thru on my way to work. It was 6:30 AM on a Friday. There was 1 car ahead of me in the drive-thru line when I pulled up, and the driver had already begun placing his order with the barista, as I pulled in behind him (he was the only person in the car & ordered 1 drink). I was short on time (NOT their fault, but it did make me more cognizant of the amount of time passing). As soon as I arrived to the window, I was ready to order-a hot, 8oz. almond milk latte w/cinnamon powder. The barista/cashier ran my card, gave me a clipboard to sign my receipt, and then left the window to make my order. I watched as she chit-chatted with her co-worker, whilst making my drink. Meanwhile, her co-worker was nonchalantly sipping on *her* coffee. Mind you, there is nothing necessarily wrong with these actions on a singular level. But, in the context of it being 6:30 AM in the morning and me being the only customer, this was off-putting. Eventually, the barista handed me my order (the entire process took 10 minutes from the time I pulled into the drive-thru, to the time I pulled away from the window). It was super hot & she didn't put a sleeve on it. I let it sit in my cup holder until I got to work and even as I walked into work, the outside of the cup was hot. When it finally cooled down, I finally took my first sip. And, what do you know? The barista didn't put any cinnamon powder in it. Just straight cinnamon sugar syrup. It was way too sweet for my liking & such a waste. I was already at work at this point, so there was no point in going back. But, I did want to call and speak with someone about my experience. Thus, I googled their location to try and find a phone # & couldn't find one listed on their Google listing or website. Hence, this review. Oh, not to mention, after I tipped a $1.00 on my hot EIGHT oz. latte, I spent just under $7.00 for the whole experience. I hate to discourage people from supporting local, but I feel it is only fair & appropriate to share my honest feedback regarding the (more-frequent-than-not) subpar experiences I've had, here. Overall, this place has so much potential-convenient location, extensive coffee list, "pretty" aesthetic interior design... But, they MISS THE MARK-no online ordering, incorrect delivery of orders, slow service, & impractical layout for studying. read more

Poor service...Blondish girl with short hair was very condescending, guess she doesn't like older women...acted like waiting on us was a chore. Took 15 min to get our simple order of coffee, while she was more focused on the drive through... wasn't busy inside at all. Eclectic decor ! Great for selfies! Clean and spacious! Favorite drinks include coconut milk with dehydrated strawberries, Golden milk with turmeric and the sweet cream iced coffee. The first time we came here our drinks were great, albeit, my husband's cup was completely full of ice. We decided to go again today, as we like to support local, small businesses. I ordered a creamsicle milkshake and my husband ordered an espresso milkshake. My drink was very watery and had almost zero flavor. I asked the gal if there was ice cream in it and she said "if you ask for nonfat milk, we leave the ice cream base out of the drink." My drink was milk and a little bit of orange flavoring with whipped cream on top. So, essentially it's not a milkshake at all and does not contain real ice cream. She offered to remake it, which I did appreciate. My husband's espresso shake was essentially an iced cinnamon dolce coffee; not a shake at all. And again, the cup was completely full of ice. The menu does a poor job of explaining what you get in your drinks and I was really hoping that we could continue to support this small business. We live in Walla Walla and come to TriCities occasionally and will be looking for another business to support. In addition, the drinks were $15. We had just eaten at Sakura for $30 and had a ton of amazing food....just to compare. read more
