Dutch bros is delicious, and not just their coffee! Their smoothies are the best and their Italian sodas are my personal favorite. The prices are great and the staff is always very friendly. If you are in the north state then you should definitely give this place a try. In regards to a previous review about the "loud music" and the staff, that is supposed to be a part of the experience. Perhaps this just wasn't the place for you. Also, they have kid drinks that are not only kid size (which is apparently hard to find these days) but they come in kid cups that have great lids, for all you parents out there. :) Free WiFi too. read more

Great quality coffee!!! Would be cool if they open a Dutch Bros in the Bay Area, this place was fun! We opted for the drive-thru option and although there were quite a few cars, the line goes by super fast. A worker outside takes your order so if you were newbies like us, they are super helpful in guiding you through the menu. We ordered a latte and the caramelizer. Both were yummy! Dutch Bros is the only coffee place where I like my coffee sweet. Usually I'm not a fan of coffee flavored with syrup but the Kicker is booooomb af. (Think of it as an Irish coffee) I personally like it iced since you're able to taste all the flavors and the richness of it but the blended is also nice on a hot day! Stopped by here for the first time while passing through Redding on our way to LA. When I pulled up to the drive through a guy named Akim greeted us. I told him my family and I had never been to Dutch Bros and so he started to explain the menu and what drinks they offered. The customer service from this guy and the two girls making the coffee in the store was phenomenal. Absolutely blown away by the customer service. This guy's friendly and outgoing attitude made my fam and I feel welcomed and cherished as customers. The girls working in the booth were awesome too.... the one making my drink wrote "welcome to Dutch" on the top and double lided my cup so that the sprinkles would show but not be mixed in with my drink. It's the little things that make big impressions- and these guys clearly understand that! As for the product, I ended up getting the Cocomo (recommended by Akim). To my surprise, it tasted absolutely amazing. I had it blended frap style and for being on the sweeter side, I loved it. The coffee/ chocolate blend that was added in with the coconut stuff was an unexpected delight. I drink really strong black coffee so for me, a sweet coffee drink is usually not on my menu.... BUT this sweet drink is now one of my favorites because it's not like Starbucks' overly-priced, straight sugar "coffee" drinks. I also loved the fact that they put coconut milk in the drink! We LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Dutch Bros and wish there were one in our area, so we always try to stop at least once when in an area where there is a Dutch Bros. I have NEVER had a bad experience at a Dutch Bros. This is was AWFUL! Stopped by on 9/19 while driving home from vacation. We pulled up and there were 3 (or maybe 4) girls working in the booth. When we arrived, we were the only vehicle on either side. We took a minute to decide and during that minute, were subjected to listening to the young ladies discuss intimate details of their lives with one another. It was very inappropriate. After placing our order, and with only one other car arriving, we waited over 10 minutes for them to make 3 drinks! My husband had to repeat the order 3 times because the young lady couldn't get it right. And we didn't order anything other than what was on the menu. Meanwhile, the young ladies chattered on about their lives...and chattered...and chattered. LOUDLY! My husband turned to me and said, "Watch...they are so busy talking that they'll get the order wrong." And yep...when our drinks arrived 10 minutes later, they gave us 3 large drinks even though we ordered 1 large and 2 mediums. At least we were charged for the correct size. And my husband had asked for decaf. When he asked the girl if it was decaf, she said, "I don't know. Let me check." She checked with the gal who had made the drink and that gal said, "Oops. Did you say, 'decaf'?" By that point, we just wanted to get back on the road, so my husband said to forget it. Hope this Dutch Bros. gets their act together. read more

I read some of the reviews and it seems fairly obvious that these are the "Mocha Frappuchino" people who wouldn't know good coffee if it bit them in the... All coffee at Dutch is espresso... they don't brew drip coffee. if you order regular coffee you get an "americano" (espresso and hot water) and it is the smoothest, most flavorful coffee I've ever had. The staff is exceptionally friendly and personable. The cashier knew just from me pulling up that it was my first time at Dutch Bros, and he let the whole staff know so they could personally welcome me! I ordered the caramelizer and it was delicious. A bit too sweet, but espresso is bitter so it balances the taste out. The man at the window also gave me a Dutch Bros punch card and stamped out 11 of the spaces, so the next time I come in: my coffee is free. There were no roasts and crazy pour overs on the menu, just some fun tasty coffee drinks. I got the white mocha with raspberrydelicious and cheaper then sb would be (flavors are always free of charge! I wanted to go nuts) My boyfriend got the kicker, a delicious Irish cream coffee. his was delicious but for his sweet tooth he would have preferred a more dessert-like drink. I tried it and loved it, would have ordered it myself :). One thing I would have liked is a list of all the flavor syrups they have so I can get creative with my drink. The coffee cups were the cherry on top! so cute! I liked the unique spout that made it easier to drink along with the adorable dutch brothers graphics. Dutch Brothers has been around Oregon for some time, and I was delighted to see it finally make it's way down to Redding. Starbucks usually has lines, and you have to park and go in. Dutch brothers started out with the drive thru concept and has stayed true to that. It's easy, it's quick. The barristas are always Up (sampling their own wares?), it's cheaper than Starbucks, and it's always open. My kids turned me on to the Annihilator, which is a good sweet drink. BTW, there's one on Hwy. 273 NORTH out of downtown Redding (695 NW Market Street just past the river), which is a PERFECT location if you happen to be heading for Oregon from Hwy. 299 from Weaverville. You drive right by it on this main drag - it's easily accessible, with a stoplite at the intersection, and there's a cheap gas station right across the street. It works for me! read more

Warning: This is a review from a coffee snob. I judge lattes, cappuccinos, or ice coffee with no sweeteners. I do not confuse bitter with burnt as foo foo drinkers might. I gave 3 stars simply because of 24 hour service, great service, and cheap drinks. Espresso wise? 1 star. I would give it 0 stars but you can at least cover up the terrible taste with enough sweeteners, assuming you are not diabetic and happy about gaining 5 lbs from the amount of sugar, half-n-half, and coffee one consumes. This wasn't a one time occurrence. I had a friend pull me a two perfectly-timed shots and try them. They tasted burnt each time. I thought it was the experience of my friend, but it wasn't. I have tried their cappuccino before from a different Barista. Not only did the cappuccino have enough air bubbles to be considered a bubble bath, the espresso once again tasted burnt. Verdict? Go here if you like rich, creamy sweet drinks. Not for coffee. Or if you need a caffeine-fix at 3 am. read more

I cannot believe I am writing a negative review but this is the worst Dutch Brothers drink I have ever had. I ordered a pumpkin breve, they don't have pumpkin anymore. Ok, so I tell her that I want eggnog and chai mixed as flavoring to my coffee instead of pumpkin spice, she gives me a large cup of eggnog with chai in it, no coffee at all. Ok, misunderstanding, so I ask if they put any coffee in it, answer is no, then I explained that i want a coffee drink with eggnog and a bit of chai to flavor it, she takes it back and adds ONE SHOT of espresso and explains how they charge for this but she'll do it this time. The drink is gross, it tastes like eggnog syrup. I love Dutch Bros, but I will never go back to this location. I have never had issues before and my drinks are always amazing at other locations. Super disappointed that the drink I have for my 500 mile drive is undrinkable. My hubby ordered a Golden Eagle iced and it's totally different then it should be too.
