I am from Florida and lived in Missouri for years and had multiple jobs in both states and never had issues with licensing, etc. I was a correctional officer so I'm fully aware of how state licensing works, I come to Nevada seeking armed security careers, and was told I need a PILB card, okay so I go through the process of obtaining a PILB, I get my provisional card in an email, great I'm thinking everything is going smoothly; well a few months go by and my provisional has expired and I haven't received my hard copy in the mail. So then I call, 11 times no answer, left voicemails. I'm on a deadline for a job to get my hard copy, I send an email, and get an automated system message saying their closed because of the cyber attack, my employer informed me that they have already resumed operations well before I sent the email, cool so I'm being blown off. I have yet to get ahold of someone via email and phone call. I may lose my career opportunity because of this. I am very upset and stressed out as I am an adult with bills to pay and a family to take care of. Great system PILB of Nevada.

Private Investigators Licensing Board - I received two emails with separate confirmation numbers. I told their staff and basically they said they can't do anything.

Private Investigators Licensing Board - In the office they told me to wait to see if the funds clear my bank when I told them they double charged me. Would NOT do business again.

Not going to lie, visiting one's Social Security office can be a bit of a hair raising experience…read more Lots of people, security at the door, tense, confusing, paperwork ridden, exhausting. It is what it is. Toshima at the front when I first walk in made my two visits to the SS here on Buffalo a 4-star experience. Having to go twice on behalf of a family member and sorting out their mountainous pile of medical paperwork to properly file SSDI for them, I am already overwhelmed before I even walk thru the door. But when I do, Toshima is at the first window kind of hollering at folks walking in and asking "do you have an appointment?" He is a super nice guy, you can just tell, despite him hollering at you thru the plastic partition from behind his desk. He is quick to help and offer advice without attitude or tone. Clearly there is a lot of reason for an employee at an SS office to be short tempered or at the end of their rope, but Toshima is real, measured, human. In the sea of confusion surrounding all that I was addressing, Toshima was clearly knowledgeable, experienced, trying to move my process along and doing what he can to make sure I have everything in order that they requested, thus why I was there to begin with. He interacted with me in a way that made the SS office seem "human" if that makes sense. He does not want you to waste your time or their time. He might be a unicorn in the whole experience, but again, he is worthy of making my experience a 4-star event. So yeah, my first Yelp review of a Social Security office and hopefully my last, but Toshima warrants a shout out in exceeding my expectations that were super low prior to walking in.

Just be sure to book your appointment online! The appointment slots open I think exactly one week in advevery Monday (I'm not 100% sure on that though, and the time slot optionsare very limited and fill up quickly. If you can snag an appointment, it's one of the easiest and smoothest places to get passports done, especially with kids. Most recently, we used one of the multipurpose rooms here for a homeschool class event, hosted by an employee from the Las Vegas Natural History Museum for an ocean life class. I really love that the museum does that and we've always had great experiences with classes like this brought to us. Overall, this is a fantastic library for so many reasons, not just for checking out books, but also for community events, meeting spaces, and passport services. We've had nothing but great experiences here!

Whenever I've had a question at the front desk or needed help checking something out, I've never had to wait long. One of the best things about this location is the self-checkout system. It's super easy to use ... you don't even have to scan each book, DVD, or video game individually. Just place everything on the scanner and it checks everything out at once. They also have a great selection of PS5, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch games, which is something a lot of people probably don't realize libraries offer. The DVD selection is solid too. It gives me a little nostalgia of walking through Blockbuster back in the day. Instead of paying for streaming services all the time, I'd definitely recommend supporting your local library. I usually reserve my books, movies, or games online, and they notify me when they're ready. I just stop by, pick them up, and check out. The whole process is really smooth. One time they even called me quickly to let me know I accidentally returned my own video game with the library items, which I really appreciated. Renewing items online is also super easy. As long as nobody else has requested the item, they usually let you renew it without any issues. I personally don't stay long enough to study or hang around, so I can't really speak on the noise level like some reviews mention and rude employee interactions. For what I use it for ... quick pickups and returns, it has been perfect. The parking lot is spacious, and they even have 3D printers available for public use, which is pretty cool. You can also renew passports here, so the library really offers a lot more services than people realize. I've been to multiple libraries in the valley, including the Sahara location, and this library has consistently been one of the easiest and nicest ones I've been to.

The ambiance felt like you're in a vintage cave similar to one of the wineries we've been to Napa. It felt relaxing & personable. Hubby ordered the worldwide red wine adventure which included 3 flights...a Malbec, Tempranillo, & Chianti. I had the Joe's the best of the best Cabernet which included 3 different pours of Cabernet. I'm from LA & have always been into cabs but recently have transitioned to old world wines bc it pairs better with food in my opinion. However, hubby suggested we have an open mind & order both the old world & new world wines. Surprisingly, I thought the cabs tasted better than the old world wines. The cabs listed on the menu are ones that I've never had before & it was bold as expected but solid. I've had better old world wines so it was just okay. With that being said, I don't mind coming back to try other wines on the menu.
