I finally just gave in to the higher price version of cleaning, later feel being forced into this transaction, and being ripped off. The technician did just a little longer than one hour of work and left. They charged me almost $400 for it. My question is : when I know the price of the service which is different from being told originally, why I can not cancel ??? So customer be aware, the price they quote you when booking can be significantly higher, once you booked and technician came to your house, you are locked in to use their service ! So get the final definite quote before booking !!

I tried calling several more times without anyone answering. I sent them a message on their site and also a text to that same number. At 0945, I receive a call from their manager saying they don't schedule cleaning that early in the morning and wasn't sure why the coordinator did so. Buyer beware on this one as that seemed very shady way to do business that way. BTW, I received a 3 day notification and and 1 day notification that I had an appointment scheduled for 05/17/2023 @ 0900. I called someone else and I won't be doing any business with this firm. I suggest you skip this firm altogether and find someone else. UPDATE 06/19/2023: This is an honest report of what I experienced with SVS. Make of it what you will, but I have not been in contact nor "harassed" anyone with this company since my review. Calling names on this forum (and belittling my experience) is not professional and I think it brings to light the issues with which I dealt . This is why these reviews exist, to talk about both good and bad. Had I had a positive experience, this review would have been more positive. I purchased a Groupoun for carpet cleaning for my mother. The company had advertised a Mother's Day…read moresale; I then selected and purchased the "Carpet Cleaning for Two Rooms up to 400 Sqft...plus Deodorizing and Sanitizing" which was $40.04. After Their arrival to service the apartment the compnay began to price gouge, and stated that the stains were not going to be removed because the Groupon is only a "general cleaning" and when they saw there were two pets they associated the stains as pet stains. which was not included in the Groupon purchases, understandably. Please note: both animals are potty trained and the stains were from everyday walking and living throughout the home. We chose to add an additional room, after the service technician stated it should just be knocked out while they were there, but then stated they could not really clean the carpet without purchasing the deep clean and mentioned each room is $45.00 plus an additional $15.00 for a fuel fee. Feeling cornered we followed through with the company. After, I asked for an itemized statement for a better understanding of all the additional fees, because the Groupon never mentioned a fuel fee unless you are 25 miles outside of the 32208 radius. I also did not understand why I had to pay for two additional rooms instead of one, being that I orginnally purchased a two room package up to 400 sqft; or why I had to pay additional for stains when the Groupon advertised cleaning heavy stains. I was met with complete frustration for trying to get a better understanding, and was only given an invoice after asking for an itemized statement numerous times. I have contacted the BBB along with the Florida's Attorney General, because I am sure we all work hard for our money and if we go on Groupon, we are looking for discounts and do not expect to be hustled. We all work hard for our money!

My dog had a blow-out the morning after I gave him a doggy Christmas treat from PetSmart. It was…read morenot a pretty site. I used my Bissell cleaner which helped get most of it out of the carpet, but not all. I jumped on Yelp and found Chem-Dry. I called and the owner was available to come out within a few hours to clean my carpet. What a life saver! Once he arrived he explained that he would not be using my water for the cleaning, like most carpet cleaners. His company's process uses more chemicals than water. This allows the carpet to dry within a few hours. The other advantage, he explained, is that the chemicals he uses do not stay behind in the carpet. When chemicals are left in the carpet this causes the carpet to get dirty faster as the chemicals attract dirt. My carpet looked and smelled great after he finished! And the carpet dried pretty quick too. His company has a guarantee that if the stain comes back within 30 days, call them and they'll come out and clean it again. That's a pretty good deal!

I initially chose this place because we share the same first name, which I thought was pretty cool. So we made the appointment for a Saturday, and they showed up on-time no problem. Even called my wife to let her know they were on their way. After doing a quick square-footage measurement, they quickly got to work. Now my place isn't that big, roughly 1300 sq ft. But it is upstairs and downstairs, with the stairs being carpeted as well. They were very quick, yet thorough in their work and were finished within an hour. Carpets took about another hour or two to completely dry. Zachary's Chem-Dry definitely did a stellar job, too. Virtually all of the stains were removed, included a red doggie vomit that was hidden under the sofa. I was surprised they were able to get that one out! So, if you're in the market to get those carpets cleaned, I would recommend giving Zachary's a shout. Very reasonable prices, and quick service means I will definitely be coming back.
