They ran a $100 diagnostic on it which they insisted was necessary to determine anything about my car. When the diagnostic didn't show anything wrong with the car, they scratched their heads, reset the computer and told me to drive it around for a while before I got another emissions test. Well, the check engine light came on, so I took it to a mechanic I trusted. I had used Alpha & Omega before and they did good work on my radiator for an honest price and in efficient time. This time they searched the emissions test failure code on the internet, took a five minute look over the car and told me my TPS sensor was malfunctioning. The part only cost $95, so it was less than the diagnostic from the other guys! The part was immediately ordered and my car was back on the road in about three hours!

The front axle didn't get new wheel bearings when they rebuilt it. Had to have someone else do it, and within 24 hours instead of a week and a half. Vehicle 2- 2011 Nissan Pathfinder Muffler issues. Ended up having to pay 1800 for new catalytic converters. Less than 2 years later, had to replace one of the cats because it was disintegrating. I used to think this shop was on the up and up, but after all the money I have spent and had to have the work done twice- no thank you. From now on, I take my vehicles to ProTech.

I let him know that I was running a little late, but that I'd be ready 11:15 or sooner. That's when he said he would be a little late too, but didn't give me a time or confirm that he received the address. So I texted again to ask if he needed more time. He didn't respond until 12:15 to say he had an emergency and that he'd be able to come to me at 2:30. It's likely, the "emergency" was another repair job, even though I was booked at 10. He finally showed at 2:05, and truthfully he was nice and jumped right to work. Did some troubleshooting and figured it was an easy fix that only took 30mins. We had a great convo, and I offered more work for him. He immediately texted me after he left with parts and price for the next job. But the next day, I started experiencing the same issue again, so I texted him to let him know. No response. I text again 3 days later to check in and gave him the days I was available, he says he'd let me know when he was free... without an apology or trying to set a date or plan to get it fixed. I texted him multiple times after that to book a date since it was getting closer to the weekend, but I didn't get a response until I asked if he had a referral to someone else. He said he had truck issues (which is weird for a mechanic), and asks if I could come to him. Really, I think he just didn't want to drive to me, even though he's a mobile mechanic... but I agree and ask for an address. Again, no response. It wasn't until I told him that I was leaving a review, was when he started being responsive quickly like he did in the beginning. He said he was sick and vomiting, which is why he didn't see my text asking for the address. Then he said he could come to me first thing in the morning, so apparently he had time to "fix his truck" yesterday during the time he was "sick". Now I need a new mechanic because the work that he did, didn't fix the issue. I will never use him again, and I spent all that money for nothing. So be careful! And if anyone has a referral to someone else, please let me know!! I have 4 vehicles between my fiancé and I, so I need someone I can rely on regularly.

Even the well known Auto Cool in Smyrna could not fix it, Mac at Crawford was able to. Auto Cool's repair lasted about a year and failed to work. We brought the car back, and this time it stopped working a week later. When we went back again we were told there is nothing they could do because of the age of the car. Well, Mac fixed it, and that was five years ago!!!
