First, let's start by saying this. $10k spent at this shop for my husband to get handed back a…read moretruck that literally would have killed us had he not known this truck as well as he does and decided something was wrong and slowed down to 2mph. The brake calipers were replaced and they didn't complete the job correctly so a bolt either was not put back in or lock tight was not applied and it backed out causing the caliper to move and get lodged between the rim. Ultimately this destroyed the rip causing it to bust and the truck went off the road. Next, they replaced fuel lines going to the fuel bowl and did not install them properly so diesel was going all over the engine and ground. Luckily, he was able to correct this issue. We lost a half a tank of fuel because we didn't realize it was spraying everywhere until it was too late. Next, the fuel line that was replaced was routed over the valve cover and they did not even take the hard line out that was "replaced" it was just left there! Next, they said they replaced the injector gaskets (with the harness), funny thing- they were informed those had just been replaced. So we knew one had a broken clip in the back and low and behold we get it back and magically that clip is still broken yet it was replaced? They kept the truck for an entire month and still couldn't complete things correctly. Pro: they managed to replace battery cables and terminals correctly. So if this is what you're needing, highly recommend....otherwise GO ANYWHERE BUT HERE. As a Navy Veteran myself I expect honor, courage, and commitment from any business just as I give these core values myself in anything I do. This shop has miserably failed to uphold simple values. Communication was poor at best, however the owner did jump in after it hit the month mark and worked on the truck to get it out of the shop for us and he had better communication than the guys he employed. However, in our opinion, your weakest link is also the face of your company just the same as your top mechanic. They are currently "fixing" their mistakes. Will fully update this review once they have corrected and fixed their wrongs.

I let him know that I was running a little late, but that I'd be ready 11:15 or sooner. That's when he said he would be a little late too, but didn't give me a time or confirm that he received the address. So I texted again to ask if he needed more time. He didn't respond until 12:15 to say he had an emergency and that he'd be able to come to me at 2:30. It's likely, the "emergency" was another repair job, even though I was booked at 10. He finally showed at 2:05, and truthfully he was nice and jumped right to work. Did some troubleshooting and figured it was an easy fix that only took 30mins. We had a great convo, and I offered more work for him. He immediately texted me after he left with parts and price for the next job. But the next day, I started experiencing the same issue again, so I texted him to let him know. No response. I text again 3 days later to check in and gave him the days I was available, he says he'd let me know when he was free... without an apology or trying to set a date or plan to get it fixed. I texted him multiple times after that to book a date since it was getting closer to the weekend, but I didn't get a response until I asked if he had a referral to someone else. He said he had truck issues (which is weird for a mechanic), and asks if I could come to him. Really, I think he just didn't want to drive to me, even though he's a mobile mechanic... but I agree and ask for an address. Again, no response. It wasn't until I told him that I was leaving a review, was when he started being responsive quickly like he did in the beginning. He said he was sick and vomiting, which is why he didn't see my text asking for the address. Then he said he could come to me first thing in the morning, so apparently he had time to "fix his truck" yesterday during the time he was "sick". Now I need a new mechanic because the work that he did, didn't fix the issue. I will never use him again, and I spent all that money for nothing. So be careful! And if anyone has a referral to someone else, please let me know!! I have 4 vehicles between my fiancé and I, so I need someone I can rely on regularly.

Finally got a return call at 3:40 and told "We don't work on Dodge rear ends". They knew Mon. what I had and what the issue was and didn't say a word about not working on Dodge. Kept my truck for 2 days knowing they weren't going to touch it. WTF? That's 2 days it could have been at another shop getting repaired. Be patient if you leave a couple voicemails with days in between a call back (or weeks). When you're good it means you're busy. Then stop worrying once you're booked because this will be a less expensive journey than usual. You'll get a legit assessment of what needs done, and no pressure to change those filters or wiper blades (or timing belt) if you don't want to. No frills means low overhead; gravel lots with a few cars like the windows-down 2-door Mercedes parked means you're not paying for all the marketing. It's just car-fixing like it should be. Last time I went in thinking I needed a complete wiper reservoir replacement. Nope, just a wiper fluid hose for pretty cheap. We'll keep coming back since cars don't fix themselves. Currently I'm not at all fretting about our teenager's car we just had towed in after stalling in an intersection. How bad could it be? And of course I'll continue wondering how much he'd charge to get that old Mercedes in his lot back on the road. Probably just needs new wipers and an air filter, once we get that driver-side window closed.

I recently popped in 15 minutes before he closed to have him look at my air conditioner. For some reason it started blowing lukewarm air...and you know the Georgia heat...you need a/c. Instead of saying hey, I'm closing up shop, come back tomorrow. He kindly checked the a/c out, told me I had a tiny leak but nothing that needs fixing, filled it up with freon, charged me only $20 and sent me on out to the 5pm traffic jam!
