I was a little reluctant to go to this store after reading some of the reviews here on Yelp but I was very pleased with my entire experience. The store carries brand names such as under armor and polo to name a few. I went there to buy a suit for work and was greeted by a very well dressed gentleman named Robert Martin. Robert made the whole experience AWESOME! He was not pushy but very helpful and gave great sound advice when deciding how everything looked and fit. My hubby shops at DXL pretty much exclusively due to sizing issues at most other stores. Being in Vegas for business he needed some jeans and shirts last minute, so we took an Uber over from the strip. It was super easy to get to and a very clean building! The customer service guys offered us waters as we shopped but left us alone after that. The only reason I rate this location 4 stars instead of five is because the sales persons usually check in with you to bring other sizes or options while trying a multitude of things on, but these guys seemed a bit busy, although there weren't many customers in the store... And when we finally went to check out the gal behind the counter was a little less cordial for some reason. It seemed like she was annoyed by the gentleman at the cash register because his answers to our questions about orders online weren't making much sense. Went in today to find some nice outfits for guys who enjoy good food. I worked with Danny he was great. I found some great upscale labels and some good basics. For the larger types they definitely have some nice brands. I am completely satisfied with my selections and would recommend this store for the meat and Potato crowd ! read more

ok then. I've read the other reviews, and I 'pretty much' agree w/them as far as customer service goes. (and yes, no matter what the sales people say, they do make commission's on their sales). But, the prices are just beyond unbelievable. I could not believe the price-tags! I mean, come-on; $105.35 for a leather belt! that's entirely outrageous! the same belt at wal-mart is $19.99, except for the fact wal-mart belts only go to sixe 44-46. I picked-out 4 shirts, 2 pairs of shorts, and 1 pair of trousers (no belt): $517.88 after taxes. and yes, I needed this addition to my wardrobe as I gained alot of weight during this last year with an illness. hopefully, this purchase will be 'disposable' as I continue/progress to lose my body weight. *I'll never/ever set foot on this property again. read more

A wonderful salesman at the other Vegas location called this location ahead of time and spoke to Gaspar. We were looking for RL shirts, long sleeve, button down, in a particular size for my husband. This size is hard to find in DXL stores and the first store had nothing. Gaspar assured us he and at least 1 or 2 of those shirts in stock. So we made the 20 minute (each way) drive only to find absolutely nothing in the store in the proper size. Very disappointing for Gaspar to have assured us he had a few things only ti find out he guessed. What a waste of our time. read more

I have shopped at three other DXL stores in Arizona and Las Vegas and other large-size men's stores in other locations. This DXL in Las Vegas had the most helpful staff that I have encountered at a large-size men's clothing store in the past 40 years. They were courteous, not pushy, helped me find the items I wanted. They have a very fully inventory. While DXL is not cheap, it is a very good long-term value, in that the clothes are well made and will last several years. read more

This place was great. I have been searching all around town for a hard to find suit size. Walked in and was greeted by Bentley. Found a jacket off the rack that fit perfect. $12 to hem the pants and I was out the door in 20 minutes with a nice suit for $300. This so makes up for the obnoxious salesperson at Mens Wherehouse. Hubby and I walk in to the store and this woman just pops out of nowhere all happy and lively. Lol she calls herself Carmen . She has high energy, we were looking around and here she comes with a bunch of outfits that she thought would look good on him. Man she even had him trying stuff on and my bear doesn't do that. This is by far the the nicest looking store of destination xl i have ever been too. Awesome. Nice Employees, patient. Lot of choices. Will go there again. Very friendly and when you buy a lot, ask for an additional discount. They will give it to you. They also have a wide selection of cool shirts, like superman, batman etc. the ones you can never buy if you're a big guy. Appreciated that. Also a good selection on brands for pants/shirts/jackets like rebook etc. not the cheap material. Bough jacket, pants and shirts for more than 5000$ (yeah I needed it) and after almost 2 years, all the stuff still looks like new. So, very well worth it in my opinion. read more

Wonderful shopping experience! Priscilla looked out for my boy É. It was a rainbow 6 mission that had us in the thick of the weeds. So we had a 6 man team focused on getting my boy fly. This week, I called in and set an appointment because I'm tired of off-the-rack clothes not fitting well and it's time to step up my game. Brittany scheduled me with Jeffrey. Jeffrey is fun, has an eye for fashion and is trained to measure and mark clothes for alterations, so he makes the experience personal and enjoyable. Once i explained what I needed, he ran with it and put together combinations I would have never considered. It's really refreshing working with someone who loves what they do. It's safe to say, I won't work with anyone but him moving forward, haha! Once it came time to check out, there was some questions about using an online promotion. Carrie, the store manager was very helpful and attentive. She got the situation handled, and I saved big time. The physical store is fine. Ordering from them online is a disaster. Did not give me the promised 25% discount. Then I am informed that the order can't be changed or cancelled even when I informed them of THEIR mistake within 2 minutes of it occurring. Avoid having any online involvement with them at any cost. I called their 800 number and was informed there were only 2 senior reps that could cancel or change an order if policies permit. However, those 2 senior reps only work on certain days and hours. That means that every other rep can only take an order. The help line can't help you at all. She was nice enough to tell me that their policies changed recently when I complained, but she wasn't sure how they changed. Good store, horrible company! read more

Wow, what an experience! A wonderful employee named Reyna helped me this morning. I was treated like a KING! I walked in and explained what I was looking for. She took a few measurements instead of asking my size..that started off a whoa..wow experience. I tried a few shirts on and showed her what I liked, didn't like. She knew exactly how to fix it and very quickly we were finding amazing shirts. I've never been so excited to buy shirts! 6 shirts and 3 belts later and I was out the door in time for my convention. There was one that we had to order which she is shipping to my house for free and should be there about the time I fly back. This review doesn't do justice how impressed I am with their service. Needed a sport coat once I got to Vegas and being not small or svelte, none of the hoyty toyty places had anything that came even close to working for me. so I looked at a bunch of yelp reviews and decided to try my luck at DXL. In looking through the mixed reviews there seemed to be quite a few who really didn't like it but some who absolutely raved about it. Count me in the latter now. As soon as the wife and I entered we were greeted by a friendly face and asked what she could help us with. Once I told her what we needed she took us to that section of the store and handed us off to Carrie. She asked a few questions of both of us (the occasion, what I was wearing with it, what my wife was wearing etc. ) then proceeded check fits on quite a few different jackets until we selected one. once we made our selection there was no up selling or anything like that. Overall it was a very nice experience for someone who doesn't like to shop. read more
