My husband needed a suit for a wedding we are attending and he hates shopping. The staff greeted us but left us alone. We didn't find a suit, but we found a pair of nice dress shoes! Yay! I was impressed with the variety of brands! Suits galore as well as casual shirts, jeans, khakis. There is a clearance section too. The interior space is organized well. Support local business stores. Buying online for large, tall sizes, especially suits and dress clothes are not the best option, so we are grateful for this store!

My hubby in his DXL clothes with his sister!

Awesome personal shopping experience. I don't remember her name but she was awesome. She helped my husband get dress clothes that he needed for his sister's wedding. He has never had comfortable dress clothes as he is a 3x. Until now!

Unfortunately, my experience with Christine Berardi, the owner, left me feeling uncomfortable and unwelcome. When I asked to try a smaller size, the interaction felt judgmental rather than helpful. I also inquired about being added to a waitlist for another item, and the response came across as dismissive and condescending. I understand boutiques have their own policies, but that does not excuse making customers feel judged or talked down to. The jeans are great, but the overall experience felt more pretentious than personable. What was even more disappointing was seeing my original review removed after the owner responded. Honest customer feedback--positive or negative--should be visible so others can make informed decisions. A five-star rating only means something when it reflects real customer experiences. I'm sharing this again because people deserve to hear the full story. For a store that positions itself as a luxury shopping destination, I expected much warmer and more respectful service. I won't be returning.

On my first visit, Trinity helped me select a range of beautiful tops, jeans, and dresses to try on. She was incredibly attentive without ever being pushy, and she instinctively understood what would work for me. I found so many flattering pieces in my size that I knew I had to come back the next day. When I returned, Christine was there and made the experience just as exceptional. She introduced me to even more stunning pieces and offered honest, thoughtful feedback on how everything looked--something I truly value and rarely find. With her help, I left with two fabulous blouses and the perfect summer jeans. What truly sets this boutique apart is its incredible selection and inclusivity. They carry a wide range of sizes (jeans from 23 to 32+), and the assortment feels both curated and unique--especially the dresses, many from designers I hadn't seen anywhere else. Equally impressive is their no-pressure approach. It's so refreshing to shop in a space where the focus is on helping you feel your best rather than making a sale. The boutique has an easy, elevated Malibu vibe--yet it's right here in Woodland Hills, perfectly situated in the Woodland Hills Country Mart. I genuinely cannot wait to bring my friends back. Kudos to the entire team--this is a rare gem.

The stores are limited to Southern California; so, when I first moved to Los Angeles and began to explore (shopping is an activity that I just can't help but do everyday, whether I had it in mind to do or I had a full day in my "planner" ...actually, back in 2007, I did have a big "At-a-Glance" planner with an entire page per day... Anyway, I stumbled upon the Calabasas Commons because I had looked up in that app, "Around Me" and found that close to one of my three jobs I worked while going to School for my Doctorate, the Calabasas Commons was on my way home from work to where I lived in West Hollywood. I stopped by right away because it mentioned a Barnes & Noble being one of the stores there. First, I spotted M. Fredrick. I saw those gorgeous, hand-picked by their buyer. I didn't realize quite how much less expensive ever was in LA compared to San Francisco. Now, this many years later, it's no longer a thought nor a thing because I've lived here so long, but it was astonishing to me back when I was freshly 22. I picked out about 20-25 pieces of the most beautiful jeans, sweaters, shirts, shoes, tank tops and dresses. I also bought a pair of sweatpants that felt like thick silk, but mostly, like a white tiger- they were the first thing I bought the next morning on my break from work; so, I vividly remember that they were $600 before tax, which, to be honest, I did think they were on the pricey side, but I didn't think of it again. The many items I had purchased the afternoon prior came to almost $23,000, but I never ever in my life looked at prices of anything, so, it was no thing and to this day, I remember probably 7/8ths of what I bought. The clothes were definitely worth it and I would do it again, even now. The only problem is that they don't make clothes how they used to. We don't have the materials or aren't willing to use them on designer boutique clothing. Every chance I could, I went to an M. Fredric store for the next 10 years.
