The current dentist is terrible and a waste of money. She insisted on crowning my large fillings to increase her earnings, as filling them was more work and less profitable for her. I went for second opinion, and another dentist was willing to simply fill the teeth, which I ultimately had done. Two large molars were saved because I didn't follow the advice of this inexperienced new graduate, who would have caused me to lose both. When I brought up these concerns, the front desk hung up, and they ignored the issue. When I requested this Dr. To call me back she didn't. I recommend avoiding this dentist, especially if you have PPO insurance. She should consider accepting medical patients if she's unwilling to perform high-level treatments covered by PPO or paid out-of-pocket. People, you need to watch your dental billings and explanation of benefits from your insurance when coming here. They overcharged me and didn't refund the over billings until months of back and forth. Talking to the front desk people is literally like pulling teeth. Caught lots of attitude from the front desk when I explained that they overcharged me, it was like I had done something wrong. After they refunded me, I asked for my account statement and it still said I owed some money. How do I owe anything when the dentist just refunded me what they overcharged?!?! Unbelievable..they prey on people not checking their statements. When I first started going here year ago, the billings were exact and the dentists were great, but that has gone downhill. Every positioned has been turned over since I first started going, every few months there is a new person at the front desk or doing the teeth cleaning, very disappointing. They scope you out by asking you to spend money on equipment or expensive mouth washes. Not that you shouldn't take care of your teeth, but they recommend the most expensive things. There was one time the dentist recommended I get a teeth pulled so I got some really good expanding floss that can really clean. Went back to get it checked again and everything was fine afterwards. Why didn't they recommend that in the first place and just go strait toward getting my teeth pulled, costing thousands and thousands of dollars? Seriously? They would rather get as much money out of you than provide good care/recommendations. This place is a sham and operates on insurance fraud. I will never go back to this dentist again. read more

This dental office deserves 10 stars. I had stopped going to the dentist several years ago because so many offices are dishonest and we ended up mulling over details with the insurance company only to find out they were lying to steal undeserved money. It's a breath of fresh air to not worry that this office is going to try to steal from us. They are honest, not looking to cheat anyone, very professional, thorough, gentle always on time with appointments, and a pleasure to work with. A friend who used to work in billing had recommended them, and she said it was clear by her dealings with Dyer that they were actually HONEST. That's huge for me. You may not be aware, but there are so many dentists that will try to rip you off without you realizing it. We drive an extra distance to Dyer, but I won't go anywhere else. I had a dental visit today and have had a few other dental visits with her and each time it amazes me how great my experience goes! I would give negative 5 stars if I could. This place has been rebought it seems and the staff is horrible. The young lady taking my "mandatory x-ray's" was VERY rude and mishandled equipment during my time there. She made mistake after mistake and was very unpleasant when it came to moving the x-ray film equipment around in my mouth. Took 25 minutes just to take x-rays? What's that about? Then I get a very rude dental assistant that needed to preform a full oral exam when I had only booked a routine cleaning? This place is SCAMMING existing customers it seems to me. Didn't even tell me just went ahead and preformed all these tasks on me without my consent. Do NOT go here. Also they took over an hour for a basic appointment. Very sad what this place turned into. Our regular dentist retired during the pandemic and he notified us that Dr. Nijjar will continue his regular dental office. Dr. Nijjar sent us a letter notifying us about the change and introduced herself. I and my wife weren't sure back then to proceed with her or find another dentist. After almost a year of not seeing a dentist due to Covid, we decided to try Dr. Nijjar. Dr. Nijjar just opened her newly renovated office when we first met her and she let us walk thru all the things she had done. We were amazed at the transformation she's done. The waiting room was brighter and comfortable, the treating chair was newer and softer and all the dental tools she used are all state of the art, technologically advanced, and included all newly designed furniture. We were surprised that she invested a lot of money to upgrade this office. It felt friendly and accommodating. Our first treatment was surprisingly good. I did not feel any pain. Dr. Nijjar was very careful and thorough on the things she need to do to clean my teeth. Her assistants are also very professional and performed their tasks efficiently. Being with my previous dentist for more than 30 years and seeing another new one is tasking for someone. , but Dr. Nijjar made this new experience relaxing and comfortable. One day, I received a flyer in the mail from the new dentist taking over my former dentist practice. Then I received a call shortly after receiving the flyer and Dr. Nijjar introduced herself that she was taking on our former dentist practice. Dr Nijjar is a great dentist! From the very beginning, I felt that this would be the place for me. After having a miserable experience at the previous dental office, who would not clean my teeth because my vertigo does not allow me to lie flat on my back. I am 80 years old and have received teeth cleaning every 6 months for as long as I can remember and have always sat in a dental chair, never had to lie down. That previous dentist had also informed me that I had to have a tooth removed immediately and have an implant installed in its place. They contacted the oral surgeon to schedule the removal of the tooth #19. I canceled the oral surgeon and started my quest for a better dental clinic. I found it at Dyer Dental Care. Sabrina put me at ease when I made my appointment, informing me that the dentist and hygienist would work with me to ease my anxiety. When I appeared for my appointment, Sabrina greeted me with a friendly professional welcome. I then met Imma, my hygienist, she was also warm and professional. She and Dr. Ketron, absolutely a wonderful person and dentist, discussed what needed to be done. First they X-rayed my teeth again and found that tooth #19 was not an immediate concern when it was compared to tooth #13 which is in a much worse condition. They cleaned my teeth and referred me to an Endodontics Clinic that specializes in saving the teeth instead of simply removing a suspect tooth. I left there knowing that I possibly saved multiple teeth by getting a second opinion. THANK YOU DYER DENTAL AND YOUR WONDERFUL STAFF! As I was keying in my remarks here, I glanced at the bill from that previous dentist and 1 line item stands out "comprehensive oral examination". Comprehensive? The dentist missed the most immediate problem and jumped to a very poor conclusion. I fortunately don't accept an opinion from someone who has not earned my trust without getting that second opinion. read more
