I stumbled upon Dylan Pierce Photography while I was searching for professional headshots in Orange County. Dylan is actually located in LA and I usually hate going out of my radius for anything, but the photos on his website really impressed me. Dylan does professional headshots for actors and business professionals for over 15 years. The way he captured the professionalism and trust worthiness of his clients in the other headshots really impressed me and I just hoped he would bring out the best in me as well. I reached out to the business' email and received an immediate response the next morning. Dylan and I set up a quick call to discuss what I had in mind for my photoshoot. I mentioned I was going for the business look for my LinkedIn photo. We set up a time and Dylan was extremely accommodating to my schedule. Since it was so far from me, I had to come on a weekend. Dylan was so professional, I received a list of recommendation to best prepare for my photoshoot. Even before our session, I already felt like I could trust his expertise and I was already gaining value from his advice that I can incorporate into future photoshoots. As someone stuck in the OC bubble, I was really stressed out driving to LA and worried about parking. Thankfully the studio space was easy to find; free 2 hour street parking is available, but be mindful of the signs wherever you park. The studio space had a nice backdrop and great lighting. Oh yes!! That lighting to make my skin look flawless!! And I enjoy the indoor with AC and fans so my make up doesn't melt. My photoshoot covers 2 outfit changes, but Dylan recommended that I bring a few extra tops just to have as back up options. I actually brought 4 tops and a blazer. I was quite pleased the 2 tops he liked the most were the 2 I liked the most. We did variations of photos with the 2 tops, with and without the blazer, and also with and without glasses. Dylan was amazing to work it! I had a lot of fun. He gave me a lot of professional in-studio advice to bring out the best in headshots. You will have to book a session with him to learn the tricks of the trade!! I was incredibly impressed. He really knew how to inspire me to naturally smile and laugh and gave me good breaks to rest my smile/face in between. Best of all he fixed the strands of hairs that were out of place, which is my biggest pet peeve in photos. We took slightly under 400 photos. Dylan got the photos to me in under 24 hours. Most of that time was to upload the high quality images onto the cloud. The package I purchased came with 2 touch ups, so I had to go through all of my epic photos to pick 2 I liked the most. After those were selected, Dylan promised the touch ups would be complete within a week. He actually finished in half a week!! So props to him for getting things done quickly. I definitely feel like Dylan captured that "professional" look in my images!!
