Beware...service the next 2 times wasn't all that friendly from the women who work here. Buuuut...that won't stop me from returning. I ordered the 4 tacos (chicken) and a side of rice and a Side of beans. The rice and whole beans were okay...nothing overly tasty..but I always need rice and beans when I eat Mexican food.

The tacos were automatically served with 3 salsas, all with nice heat, especially the habanero. On the second visit, I tried a carne asada burrito. The flavor was pretty good, but the ratio of meat to beans/rice was off for my liking. I'm not sure if it was the rice, beans, or the combo, but they came off as kind of mealy/mushy. It was interesting that they seem to use some type of white bean in the burrito. The salsas were really good once again. I'll definitely be back for tacos, and the breakfast burritos look pretty good. I think I'll stick to my regular spots for burritos.

It took a little while for them to get prepared but that is to be expected with fresh food. This dish has a bit of an Asian flair. Large strips of tuna seared just right with a sesame seed crust, piled high with cabbage, cilantro, wonton strips and avocado and a side of a creamy lime dressing. It was almost too pretty to eat but YUM!!!! The location of this food truck is really cool too. Lots of outdoor tables or a large indoor bar that is very bougie with seating as well. They are known for their craft cocktails but also have a good selection of NA beers and cocktails too. Guessing they had a change in either their head chef or ownership; not sure. The last couple times we've gone we have been so surprised because they were completely dead at dinner time which was unusual...guessing others have had the same experience. Time before last I ordered a salad with the crunch bowl (nobody can turn down the crunchy tortilla salad bowl...right!). When they brought the salad without the bowl I mentioned to the girl that I'd ordered the crunch bowl and she looked at me like I was speaking a foreign language as if she had no idea of what it was, along with a dose of a super rude attitude. Then as everyone else eats their meal and finishes I wait over 15 minutes to get the missing part of my order, all while the restaurant was dead as a doornail. I've worked in restaurants in my years and if that happens it's typically first priority if someone is missing part of their order to avoid just that. We went back tonight to give it another shot and noticed it completely dead again at dinner time which is so odd because in years past it's typically slammed with people. Met again with rude employees who treat you as your inconveniencing them by placing an order. That was our last straw. Really bummed as it use to be SO good but they've lowered their quality of service down to the point where it's just not a good place to go anymore unfortunately. Add to that axing great menu items has them struggling to keep business coming in. Icing on the cake is they have recently gotten rid of their Morita hot sauce which might have been the best hot sauce ever made in human history. Don't get me wrong it's a still a big step up from Taco Bell but if you're living on the Eastside, that gem of years past is slowly dying away. I'll miss you Hablo!

The menu had a nice variety and the location offered seating on-site. When I went to the window I was greeted by a lady that was all business and skipped pleasantries. A little off putting but that's just me. I ordered 3 Carne Asada tacos with hot sauce as I was starving! It said these were double corn so I was thinking they would be a decent size. What I got instead were 4" tortillas that were two bites each for $5.00 each. In the photo you can see the hot sauce container takes up half a taco and I can hold the taco with three fingers lol. Now, I will say, these tasted amazing! They were fresh, perfectly seasoned, had a nice char, and the hot sauce was incredible! With the squeeze of lime, delicious. Unfortunately, these werent filling and I had to go somewhere else to grab more food before my flight.
