They had availability for the very next day. I was informed ahead of time that the cost of service would be $120 and that my timeframe (window for service) would be from 12 to 2 PM. My technician, Gavin, was right on time for the work. He diligently performed all of the necessary maintenance, informed me that my machine (and its related parts) was very clean, and was done with all of the work within an hour. Normally, I would shop summer specials, but because I really wanted it serviced to ensure its health during these brutally hot months, I accepted the rate they charged. I was given the option to sign up for twice a year or more regular service, but I declined for the time being. I can't comment on their repairing services, but for regular maintenance, I would definitely recommend this family owned business!

It was the dead of summer and our 18-year-old A/C unit started leaking water all of the floor of…read moreour garage. I pulled out the filter and there was moldy insulation everywhere. Uh oh, this was going to be a problem because we were in the process of replacing a roof and all our money was going towards that. We called a couple A/C companies (including one who didn't call us back for three days) and the first to respond was A/C Repairs. They set up a visit for the following day. A/C Repairs arrived promptly at the time they said they were going to visit. They cleaned out our AC Line, inserted a small mechanism into the unit so that if it ever started to leak again it would automatically shut off and adjusted the line to the outside so that it would drain better. When they came to me with a bill of a little over a hundred dollars I jumped for joy. This sure beat a new unit. When it comes time to service (or more likely replace) our unit again, A/C Repairs will be the first company we call.

The air conditioning stayed off-line, so I called A/C Repairs, thinking I would leave a voice mail requesting service. I was surprised when the owner answered. He promised to be here by noon on Monday. They showed up at 9:30 am, and quickly found a damaged circuit breaker that feeds the air conditioner. They replaced the C/B, and the air conditioning worked. It was obviously not their fault, but rather one of those random events probably caused by an electrical surge, or something. When I offered to pay, I was surprised the owner said he wouldn't charge me. So if doing business with a small business with integrity appeals to you, give them a call.
