Making the task more difficult was the fact that my extended family was also out of the country and nobody had access to the residence save one friend with a key who couldn't be there to supervise the work. I called ServPro of Central Brevard since I knew they specialized in the type of cleanup I needed done and was connected with the owner, Raymond, who wound up being a comforting and helpful individual to deal with my issue. Ray took it upon himself to meet my friend at work who had the keys to my residence, after which he meticulously documented the scene in my house with digital photographs that he emailed me and then discussed via phone. He then prepared a rather reasonably priced estimate for the work to be done, and he ensured the work was done in a timely manner. I was able to accomplish this all from out of state due to the great communication from Ray and his staff, and when I was able to eventually get back and survey the work they had done I was satisfied with the great job.
