We needed a whole new system due to an evaporator coil manufacture defect issue and they gave us several options to choose from in order to accommodate our budget. I've had to reach out a couple of times with AC issues recently and Jason always gets back to me within a day - he is super helpful and squeezes us in whenever he can! My job is a very specific one to replace a 30 years old fan in the attic that serves as an exhaust fan for the bathroom. Most companies didn't even know how to do it and declined the job right away, some came in and found they couldn't do it. I'm glad I found Dynamic Air system. Dynamic Air Systems installed a new, permitted, Mitsubishi heat pump and ducted air handler in my ADU. We had an idea but ended up discussing at length with the team about wall mounted mini splits, ceiling cassettes, concealed duct systems, and traditional ducted air handlers. They were knowledgeable and experienced with them all and encouraged us to ask questions and work together to find the system right for us. We felt in the driver's seat the entire time and went in certain that what we were installing was going to be perfect. The work was done professionally, with both their experience and attention-to-detail evident in the quality of the built-on-site plenum, neat and thorough taping, attic installed catwalk with work lights, metal line set cover, neatly positioned electrical disconnect and whip, etc. It was clear they'd done this many, many times before. Dynamic Air Systems worked with me to replace my old gas furnace and AC with an efficient heat pump that produces both heat and air conditioning. To make matters more complicated, I asked them to move the unit to the attic from a hall utility closet. They came and inspected my house and figured out a way to make that possible. The whole team provided a great service. Tim showed up within hours for the initial inspection and provided the quote the same day. And instead of bearing the cost of replacing the entire system for the heat pump exchange to go electric, he provided us with better priced options to convert our existing furnace to electric and answered all the questions during multiple interactions. In June 2022 after Will's earlier routine check up of my then 3 year old Bryant A/C system that I thought was under performing, I contracted Dynamic to totally replace the original 36 year old dilapidated, marginally insulated, mis-sized, and unbalanced ducting for 16 floor registers (the Bryant was fine). Will's design re-engineering involving multiple R8 duct diameters with adjustable balance dampers did the trick and the system starting providing proper air volume/temps to the various rooms as desired. Installation team lead Eric, along with Chris, Levi, Eddie and Blake were all hard workers and knew their stuff. Showed up on time every day, too. Polite, clear communication, respectful of property, cleaned up at the end of each day, kept me apprised of progress and didn't seem to mind my "help" and "supervision". Office manager Jason was always responsive to text, email or phone throughout the entire process. An added bonus was of the five vehicles involved none drooled oil on my driveway over the four-day project (a pet peeve I have). Now fast forward to a few days ago on Oct 3rd, 2024 during the peak of the hottest day at my house since Sept 6, 2022's 110. You guessed it. A/C says enough is enough and goes on strike. It was late in the day and I expected a voicemail given the undoubtedly increased demand for HVAC service that mega-hot day throughout our area and was flabbergasted that my phone call was actually answered by Will and not a machine! Wow. Anyway, long story short, technician Eli arrives on time, diagnoses the problem in about 5 minutes, fixes it in another 10, and zooms off to his next task like a super hero. This review is a bit late, but well-deserved. I got Will at Dynamic Air System's contact info from David Frazer, my go-to Realtor. David's recommendations are always business-tested and spot-on and Will was no exception. During the pandemic, when contractors are busy, he was able to come out and take a home with two completely separate HVAC systems and divide them into 4 total zones for better control. I opted to use a more modern ECOBEE instead of the Honeywell Will is accustomed to, and he humored me and we learned along together, how to use the ECOBEE system, which I now, recommend. Will's group shows up on time, works fast and does not leave you hanging for days while "finishing up another job". If there is an interruption, Will lets you know ahead of time. While he was working on that project I off-handedly mentioned the need for a whole house fan system. Shortly after he was done, I discussed it in more detail and he got on it immediately and spec'd out a 2-fan system that would work with our house. Installed shortly thereafter, and quickly. Works great and does the thing we need. Will from Dynamic Air Systems came to us highly recommended and they did not disappoint! My wife and I moved to Morgan Hill a little over a year ago and our first move was to install ac and heating. The townhome we moved into had outdated baseboard heaters and no AC. Our home had unique challenges. It has a concrete slab foundation and no room between floors to run ducts. We had 8 different HVAC companies come out and quote us and make proposals. They all said the same thing. We were going to need mini splits since they couldn't run ducts. Dynamic Air System's bid came in %25 lower than other bids we had gotten for the same work. I also researched the different brands of mini splits that the different vendors were license to sell and once again Dynamic Air Systems had the highest rated units based on consumer reports and have the longest and most comprehensive warranties. They were also the most aesthetically appealing. Since these units hang on your wall you really want something sleek looking. I should also mention that his creative solution of how to route and mount our units saved us from having to cover lines going out of the house which other companies were saying there was no way around. Every other company wanted to run cables in a way where they would be explosed leaving it to us to cover them with a soffit. This was to be in addition to their already higher quotes. Now that everything is said and done we couldn't be happier. Our technician Will was fast, easy to work with and very professional. After living with our new heating and air systems now thru the summer and winter months I have to say, mini splits are the way of the future. They are high efficiency and only heat and cool each room as needed vs traditional systems that heat or cool the whole house or floor when it may just be one room that needs it.
