High quality work with professional service from start to finish. I brought my new Tesla to The Windows Tinting after requesting quotes from multiple OC tint shops. The Windows Tinting wasn't the cheapest, but I went with them because of their attitude. They never tried to hard-sell me into higher priced services or insult their competition (which is what other highly-rated tint shops in the area seem to do). When I came in to the shop, Chris asked me about my goals for the tint (ex: aesthetics, heat rejection, privacy), as well as where the car tends to be parked (in the sun, in a garage, etc). He presented some options and took me into the workshop to reference current Tesla tint jobs in-progress. I felt very informed and confident in the film selected, as well as their ability to perform a precise installation on the Tesla's large glass surfaces. After dropping off the car, Chris kept me informed of progress via text message. Because I had also opted to get some vinyl wrap work done by their sister shop Sync Wraps (they share a garage but are separate businesses), the interaction of applying vinyl near windows had delayed the tint installation slightly. Unfortunately, my work schedule was very tight and I needed the car back. Chris and the shop went above and beyond to accommodate my schedule, splitting my job into two visits. The car looked awesome when I picked it up--needless to say I was thrilled. Chris invited me to inspect the work, explained the warranty, the next couple days of not rolling the windows down (including a reminder sticker on the drivers window switches), and what to do if I have an issue. 1st time client. Pro- Quickest response and Alex was a friendly tech. Chris, the manager was responsive and handled the client issues well. Con- Alex did not measure accurately and performed the job without full disclosures- he wasn't transparent. He attempted to cover up a large window with a 2nd strip since he didn't have the adequate measure. When we advised him of this, he packed up his gear and decided to leave without telling us- very unprofessional! The company then increased their pricing despite their mistakes. I've called a dozen tint shops from the IE to OC areas and they were by far the most cost effective, but with quality workmanship.
