Like thousands out there I have a Model 3. I was looking for a place to get my car tinted for a while and after requesting quotes from all around I decided to go with RODZ. They not only had a great and friendly team they also showed me around their garage on cars they were working on. I had a lot of trouble deciding on my tint because while I really wanted to go dark I wasn't sure if it was safe to do so. After talking with them for a bit I did decide to go at 5% all around but also tinted my front windshield a bit. I have ZERO REGRETS. These guys are FAST, PROFESSIONAL, AND ACCOMMODATING. They have a little show room with their premium tints and options that shows heat rejection statistics, UC Protection, and tint color. I decided to chose Llumar IRX which is their premium nano-ceramic film. They do have 3M Crystalline which I hear is an amazing tint but is slightly brown where Llumar is Grey/Blackish. I initially reached out via Yelp and immediately received a quote. I found them initially through Instagram while searching Tesla tinting. I referred my friend who owns a Tesla and she couldn't say enough about how well they treated her. So I decided to give them a try. I can't say enough about Mayra. She goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome and she is very easy to communicate with for any concerns. They tinted my Sienna 15% IRX in the front and 30% in the rears to make the front match the rears. As for my RAV4 they did Full front PPF and Llumar IRX 30% fronts and 40% all around. Great work, great crew. My kind of people that I like doing business with. I highly recommend them. I took advantage of the Tesla Model 3 group buy price for the paint protection film they had going. Obviously with the promo price, it was better than any other quotes in the surrounding area. Roger is a good guy to work with because he is very patient and answers all your questions. Communication was great and having a loaner car or lyft ride at their expense is a real plus. And being able to pay with a credit card without incurring extra fee is another plus to earn extra cc points. The shop was really flexible and kind enough in letting me do some work on the car while they were doing their work on premise. It saved me quite of bit of time. I have to thank Jesse for that one. And I had a great time at the shop, lot of joking around and listening to good music. Now that I found this shop, I really don't have any need to find another shop. As far as the actual PPF job goes, this is a very difficult and custom job and they did really great work. It's been a couple of weeks since the ppf and holding up well and has already shielded from scratches and road debris. I spent a couple weeks researching tint and PPF vendors in So Cal and was I going to pull the trigger on a place I found close to home. I came across Rodz on a Tesla forum and decided to message them using Yelp to see what kind of deal they can offer. And wow I was surprised. I got an estimate several hundred dollars lower than what I was going to go with. So I thought something must be missing? Are they using lower quality materials? Are they newer and don't have experience? I found out the answer to both questions was NO! The thing that impressed me most was the customer service. When I dropped off my car, Rod waited for me after hours so that I could drop off the car the day before my appointment time so it would be convenient with my work schedule. I got my Model Y two years ago and decided to bring it to Rodz because they were highly recommended on the Tesla forums. It was the most reasonably priced place and they were super easy to communicate with and schedule an appointment. I worked primarily with Mayra and she was just the most pleasant person! She was super honest about what I should get done and I didn't feel like I was getting up sold. I ended up getting full front PPF and tint on all windowed surfaces. They didn't have a loaner available but she dropped me off and picked me up to get my car the following day. I should've wrote this review two years ago, but I'm glad I waited. After two years, I noticed that there was some dirt getting trapped under the edges of the PPF (probably my fault for not washing my car enough honestly) so I reached out and they told me to come right in and they'd take care of it. Sure enough, they scheduled me at a time that was convenient for me and I was in and out in about an hour.
