DO NOT do business with these guys. went to them for recommendation on a dash cam for them to install. Bought their recommendation and had them install the dash cam last week. All seemed ok until I tried to down load the software to my I-phone. can't load it. When asked to help, they refused. says some won't work with certain phones. This is my "go-to" shop here in Virginia Beach for window tint and audio. Have been coming here since '08 and had all three 4Runners serviced for tint and audio so needless to say I trust John & staff when it comes to my vehicles. First and foremost I'm particular about who I work with. Trust and honesty is important to me. These guys are honest and up forth about their services, including rough estimates for services being done and time needed to complete services. Secondly, I currently live in Fairfax where I always take the time to schedule an appointment with them ahead of time before I come into town. They are always on time with scheduled appointments and never disappointed me with their services performed. Tinting quality is top notch and never had issues with tint peeling or excess bubbles after the first 3 days. Audio installation is pretty basic but nonetheless these guys do it right the first time around. Don't waste your time doing it on your own if you are not a professional - they can do audio installs quicker than you can in a single day. They stand by their services and puts you in priority queue if you are having issues with services recently performed at their location. In other words they will troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise no questions asked. Now onto what services I had done at their shop earlier this afternoon...lighting installation. I just finished my light mod earlier today where John & staff installed three Rigid SR2 10" light bars and a pair of dually floods on my 4Runner. Installation was done professionally where they did a great job placing the lights exactly where I wanted these lights to be located. Absolutely no pressure to by new products and most important their honesty in troubleshooting the vehicle. Dynamic car audio was a great choice to have my tint work done. They were very knowledgeable not only with tinting but john with car audio systems. I didn't mean to eaves drop on a phone call but their waiting room is next to the front desk and how john was dropping his knowledge and experiences with specific systems was very informative to both myself and the customer on the phone. So there's no doubt to whether they know their products. Service was outstanding, set up an appt to get the tint done on the whole vehicle in less than an hour. Upon entering the store I was greeted which was nice cause some customers may be overwhelmed with the shop. The presentation/layout was easy to understand. So I would highly recommend this shop. Only one thing they should add for those that do have to sit and wait for their vehicle would be wifi... but that's just a 1st world problem. read more

I posted on my FB page a couple weeks ago looking for a car audio place that my friends could recommend. A majority of them said Dynamic was the go to spot. I went, got a quote, brought my truck (Tundra) in the next week for a back up camera and in dash install. Prices were very good, got my truck done in no time, and a very clean awesome job! James (owner), gave me a quote, I agreed to it, and when it was time to pay, it actually dropped a little (think he said it was a little faster than he thought). Now who does that?! Only an honest owner and shop. Brought my wife's suburban in the next day, as the DVD player stopped working (factory system), and we were confident our 4 yr old twins had stuck multiple coins in the DVD slot. He gave us a quote and, boom, less than an hour later. All fixed (it was coins) ... no charge! Now I'm not saying to go beat them up for free or discounted stuff, but I posted, because you don't find this kind of honesty too often. My name is Eric Byrum. Let me start this review by saying I know no one at Dynamic audio and security. I had never even heard of Dynamic audio and security until I looked online for a car audio business. I made the mistake of going the cheap route trying to install a radio into my son's first car. Against my wife's advice. She was right did not work out well. Needed a quick repair fix for the auto. Looked online and found Dynamic audio and security. Stop by in the morning about 10:30. Spoke with John. He informed me they were a couple of weeks out for installing radios. Explained my situation. That I was going to be in trouble with the wife if this wasn't fixed quick. He said leave it they would try to look at it over the next couple of days. I left not expecting to hear anything for several days. Later that same afternoon at 5 got a call from dynamic. They said the radio was installed working fine car is ready come get it. I cannot begin to tell you how happy I am with the service provided by Dynamic audio and security. Knew what I wanted to get done but not knowing to much about car audio systems I didn't know what products would be best. Went in and was greeted with a smile. I told them what I wanted done and the service agent who was also the guy who would be installing my system took the time to explain my options and was patient in answering any questions I had. I was called on the day I was to bring my truck up and was told that they were ahead of schedule and if I wanted to bring my truck up early. Once I did they took the truck around back to start the work. Was given a rough time when they would be done. Came and got my truck and i couldn't be happier.
