Today, it's one of the most consistent parts of my life. Three to four days every week, you'll find me at Thompson Fitness, and I can't imagine my routine without it. The workouts are efficient, focused, and challenging. Every muscle group is trained with purpose, pushing you to true muscular failure in a safe, coached environment. John has an incredible ability to motivate you to squeeze out one more rep when your mind says you're done, and it's amazing how much progress those little moments create over time. The coaching extends far beyond the gym. Early in my membership, John provided nutrition guidance through a comprehensive video series, but what has impacted me even more has been his willingness to invest personally. We've had multiple hour-plus conversations about nutrition, mindset, fitness, business, family, and life goals. He's much more than a strength coach--he's someone who genuinely wants to help people become healthier, stronger, and better in every area of life. One realization I've had is this: if I'm willing to submit myself to John's leadership for just 30 minutes a day, a few days each week, the benefits extend far beyond me. My body is healthier, I have more energy, I'm stronger, and ultimately my family and the people around me receive the best version of me. The results speak for themselves. I'm nearly 40 pounds lighter than when I started. I've gained significant muscle, I'm stronger than I've ever been, and I genuinely enjoy working out--something I never thought I'd say. Just as important is the community. Thompson Fitness has created an environment where people encourage one another instead of competing against one another. I've made great friends, and John and Tiffany have built a culture that is welcoming, motivating, and genuinely fun to be a part of. If you're looking for a gym, there are plenty of those. If you're looking for coaches who care about your long-term health, your mindset, your goals, and helping you become the strongest version of yourself, Thompson Fitness is something special.     So far my wife and I have been to Building Better Bodies Fitness about 5 times to do the spin…read moreclass. I have to tell you this is one of the best I've been to in a while. The little gym is real close to Downtown so it can make it really easy to pop over after work or if you're like us and live in the Northeast it's the closest place to hit. So Joe is an avid cyclist that has been in multiple Race Across America Cycling races, and has completed a few of the Bakersfield Marathon's. He has about 25 Spin Bikes arrange in the classroom so everyone can see and hear him give out the instructions during the class. The is also a video playing on a screen towards the front of the class of some of the Tour De France races. The class last an hour and if you are looking for a great cardio rush then you need to try Spin. I have on an average burned up to 900 calories per class with my heart rate on the high end of 170ish and low end of 140ish. Now I'm not in the best of shape so this might be higher than normal lol. The Spin bikes are in good condition and maintained by Joe. If you are a beginner and need some instruction he is there to help. Joe also offers a few other fitness things like Yoga, and Boot Camp. He owns a cute little studio downtown, where the sweating goes down! I haven't been to the other classes, but I can vouch for spinning. For five whole dollars you can rock out, sweat a ton, burn lots of calories, and have fun doing so. It's intense, but you get used to it. Check it out if you want to try something different and switch up or start your workout routine. For spinning, I do recommend you invest in some padded bike shorts. They make all the difference...TRUST me.
