Aloe Vera This product didn't work for me. It was recommended from a friend. This location has so many herbs to choose from with no detailed information about side effects. Aloe Vera is good for older adults hearts! I tried to return product, one bottle unopened back for a refund. I was told they can't do a refund due to the open bottle has been used and the other unopened bottle has been compromised with the heat. Like many I was never led to try acupuncture by anyone, not even pt or docs even though I have had chronic pain for most of my life. Some due to surgeries and some from injuries. I have passed by this place for almost 5 months feeling God tugging on my heart to first take our daughter there. Yes God can work thru anything. Our daughter has a severe TBI & cannot walk, talk, eat by mouth or do anything the normal person does daily. She moves but has acquired atrophy in the past 8 years. We tried Xeomin for years which was referred by her therapist & neurologist. It worked some but no real change and very painful to get those shots every 3 months. Dr. Zen here was very honest with us saying "it has been 8 years and it might or might not work, we never know". We were good with that because if anyone was going to do the working thru it, it was our GOD and HE is still in the business of healing. He will do HIS part but we have to do ours as well. DAY 1, she was moving things like we have not seen her move before. We decided 10 visits, excluding GOOD FRIDAY. She will be on visit 6 Friday. Doc Zen can add to his page now, this will help atrophy & TBI injuries. So now it is my turn. I have had several surgeries on my back lower and upper so there is some past injury there. Had a shoulder impingement surgery 25 years ago leaving me with ongoing pain. I have tried the therapy, epidurals etc nothing has worked. My first visit, I left there literally praising God in my truck because I had NO PAIN. 10 days later, I still have no pain except in my lower right side which I will have them work on this Friday. I can't say enough about this Acupuncture. I have referred many people here since our daughters visit and now I have mine to be a testimony about. read more

They were kind, polite, and willing to help find open times and dates that worked for my busy schedule. Dr. Zen was very knowledgable and compassionate in understanding my areas of pain. He provided thorough care during my treatments and would inquire as to how I was feeling, and where I was hurting on each visit. The massage therapist would vary, but the treatment would always be focused on my specific needs. I had Dr. Lee today and it was my first and best acupuncture experience! She made me very comfortable, talking me through the entire process. she was very great at listening to my concerns about infertility and stress. After the acupuncture session, the 15 min deep tissue massage begun and it was the best for my shoulder and neck tension. Pros: takes insurance, dr. Zen personality, great masseuse, great front desk staff, great downtown location Cons: needles, busy after 5pm, closed Tuesday and weekends, turning into parking lot a bit tough I don't know anyone who likes needles so I want enthusiastic about trying out accupuncture. But I'm totally converted don't think of them as needles. They are so thin it's like a piece of hair. I've been going for about 6 years now. I even got needed all over my face for a sinus infection. I know super scary but seriously if I can take it anyone can. When it comes to needles I'm a total wimp. Pain medication can mask stress and the pain manifests. I came to Dr. Zen with sciatic pain and couldn't even stand up straight. I laid on my stomach and got tiny little needles with electric stimulation and a heat lamp. When my husband picked me up he expected to have to help me get dressed and stand up.  Instead still a bit rough I was able to walk out standing up straight of my own volition. I have even taken my 9 year old daughter to Dr Zen and she loved it. He answered her question put on a tiny bitty sticker needle. It helped quell her fear. If you have a medical problem before going under the knife or starting a bunch of medd consider something less invasive. read more

What I get from his call is him wanting to change my review just because he gave me two free massages. I'm really happy with my treatment by Dr. Zen. The office is clean, warm, friendly and smells amazing. I wasn't sure at first, about acupuncture in general - I did try another acupuncture office after my initial visit with Dr. Zen and can I say that it was a night and day difference? My insurance covers unlimited acupuncture visits and I intend to use all of those unlimited visits. I haven't gone in for a treatment in nearly 3 weeks and the pain and stress have returned, reassuring me that I am in fact, having great success with this treatment.
