Trying to get some kind of confirmation on a strange situation…read more We installed an in-home hospital bed through Armor months ago (that was fine; great job), but now we're looking to get rid of it and am being told by Armor they're going out of business and to just dump / trash it. My requests for some sort of verification that Armor is closing, and that someone isn't going to be coming after this bed, are so far unanswered. It's also odd for a medical supply company to not offer an alternative to just having the bed wind up in a landfill, ex. Donation. If I was rating just on the installation it would be a 4.

I called their Chicago location today to alert them to please remove their 2724 Dorr Avenue address from the internet as my company assists 3-5 people WEEKLY who wander in to get medical equipment from my construction company. The "thing" in Chicago was ignorant, rude and hung up on me. Now we know why the company is dying and they deserve to. PLEASE ARMOUR MEDICAL DOES NOT EXIST IN VIRGINIA ANY LONGER

His belief is simple: we don't work with healthy people, we work with the sick and hurt and older people and we need to accommodate them. Opened 7 days a week and easy to get to. Purchased a transport wheelchair that had to be light enough for my mother to be able to put it in the car. Absolutely got it right!

I was very satisfied with my experience renting a mobility scooter from JK Medical Supplies. I…read morerecommend them if you are looking for such a rental in the extended D.C. area. I rented mine directly from the shop on Edsall Rd., but if you plan ahead, they will deliver the scooter to you and they offer a 24/7 service to help with issues that arise. I did not have any issues, so I cannot directly confirm how that works. My family decided at the last minute that one of our adults would be better off with a mobility scooter because her health issues make any walking tour a strain. The first place I called did not answer and wanted me to leave a message. I didn't have time to wait around for a callback, so I kept trying. I feel so lucky that the second call I made was to JK Medical Supplies! They were so helpful and so nice and knowledgeable. They even gave us ideas about activities in the area that we could do. The scooter they rented to us is a Vive 3-wheel. They made sure that it was the right size for our needs and gave us a demo of how to operate and transport the scooter. The scooter was in excellent condition and it worked well for us. In addition to concrete scootering, we took it on a day hike trail in the Shenandoah Valley. We checked with the visitor center for scooter-friendly hikes. The trails there are smooth enough, but we had to turn around when we got to the uneven rocky area with the obvious horse (ahem) trail. As far as the scooter itself, I would say the 3-wheel is excellent for touring in D.C. and flat, civilized areas, but if you want more adventure with the rocks and the horses, you'll definitely want to ask them for a more rugged 4-wheel with higher clearance and more lateral stability. I spent some time talking to them about their business and they claim that they are often called by a hotel concierge to remedy a delivery issue from less reliable rental companies (I thought about that company that didn't even answer the phone). They sound very dedicated to customer service. I did not need anything above and beyond, like middle-of-the-night service or delivery, but I did see firsthand how customer-friendly they are. It is very hard to find good customer service, but JK Medical shines in that regard. They also claim to personally research each product the sell/rent. They have a lot more than scooters. Our family member had a big smile on her face and laughed at being able to leave the rest of us in the dust, for once. It was a big contrast to what we usually deal with: a grumpy, droopy, sad face. Thank you JK Medical for making our visit to Virginia and D.C. a lot less strenuous and a lot more fun for our family!

Yes you can get a prescription here, but you might need an extra for the lack of ease. The pharmacy staff are incredible. They are literally not able to stop running. A lot of folks are always getting prescriptions, or have a million questions to ask. While patience is a virtue, this one can be a madhouse. The one at nearby Yorktown Plaza is a smart decision. The employees here do their best, but you'll probably be here for dine time.

I have been relying on this pharmacy for the past two years but during the pandemic they've made some really great changes to make both in-store and out-of-store pickups easier. Currently I've been taking advantage of their free mail-order service. Basically whenever I am in need of a refill they will shoot over a text and remind me to place an order which has been super, super convenient. One time they sent me the wrong medication and not only were the able to rectify the delivery within a few days, they also sent me a gift card for the amount I paid for the wrong medication without asking. They have also been very on point about connecting with my medical providers and helping me navigate the insurance process in a timely manner. I am not a fan of adulting, but I'm glad that CVS Pharmacy makes it easier!

This pharmacy has gone downhill so bad that it amazes me they still have customers. I have been a customer at this store for more than 15 years. They used to be notable for having every type of medication in stock and being close to the hospital it was a bonus that they were 24 hours. Now you can't even talk to a human on the phone. You have to leave a message and play phone tag with them for three days when you are sick. The hospital ordered medications for me and I went to get them before going home. They didn't fill my antibiotic- the most important medication in there and didn't bother to mention it to me when I picked up my prescriptions. When I looked it up it said it was too soon to refill- this is a medication I have never taken before in my life so I have now missed a day on this medication while I wait for them to call me. I have a life threatening infection and you would think they would tell me when I picked up the others so we could figure it out then. They clearly value revenue over customers health and they have techs and clerks running around who don't have a clue what customer service is. It seems their only concern is getting the line down so they can go back to counting pills. The customer service is atrocious even on a good day. 10 years ago this would have never happened but they have become so irresponsible and robotic they may as well hire baboons to run the counter. Baboons would probably smile once in awhile and pretend to care. Sadly, I know that CVS couldn't care less if they lose a customer but they have lost one in me. I'll take a mom and pop or even a Walgreens over this cvs any day. Until they get someone killed they won't care and even then it's questionable.

I have no clue how they do it, but have been thankful to them, after some hospital visits. Parking here is, just be wary of other people. A lot of parking area cutting through, and be careful leaving. A green light might not be noticed, when it's red for everyone else. Staff here are amicable. Sometimes they seem understaffed, but that is the norm these days. Sometimes CVS has a exceptional sale, but usually Walgreens is cheaper. Go here for basics and prescriptions. It's a well organized place, and is clean also.
