Beware of a pricing bait and switch! I ordered a rental scooter online last month. When I didn't receive an email confirmation, I called to make sure the order went through and was told that it's processing but not to worry and that I would get the scooter as ordered. A couple days later - the day before I had scheduled the delivery for - I still hadn't received a confirmation, so called back, and it was only then I was told my order couldn't be processed because the delivery fee was actually double what I was charged online. I eventually talked them into charging me less for delivery than they tried to, which is why they're getting more than one star, but it was still more than the price advertised online. They blamed a website "glitch" for the price difference. But I just checked a month later, and the price online is still the same as what it was when I placed my order, so they're clearly not in a rush to fix it. And even if it was just a mistake on the website, a business that actually values its customers would take the hit and honor the price that they mistakenly advertised for. I could not be more pleased with the service I received from Zask Medical. My mother and I stumbled upon this company while looking for a feeding tube pump for my aunt, who is newly diagnosed with esphogeal cancer. We walked just 30 minutes before they closed, but not once did they make us feel rushed. Zask met and beat a price quote that was provided to us by another company and pulled everything together right then and there. It was at that point that we realized we did not have the required prescription for the pump. With her being Florida, the process of supporting her has been to say the least difficult--family dynamics can be more complicated than the disease when faced with these types of challenges. One star for really well stocked place with a ton of different supplies. I am a nurse practitioner in Virginia. I have prescriptive authority. I visited this store with a copy of my license including license to prescribe medications. Virginia does not require Nurse Practitioners to be supervised for prescribing medications. Yet they refused to give me prescription based supplies because I was "not a doctor". These folks are very nice but need to read up on Nurse Practitioner scope of practice in Virginia. Bought a $950 wheelchair for my mother in Oct. 2013. One of the brakes began not working almost immediately, but could be temporarily repaired. The chair went back to Zask, who "repaired" the problem. The repair lasted a day. I was then told they were washing their hands of the matter, to contact the manufacturer, which I could google to find contact info.
