I read in several reviews that the staff repairs Dyson products quickly. They don't take appointments, it's first come, first served. The location is in a strip mall with ample parking. You can check in via a QR code or on an iPad; the QR code didn't work for me, so I used the iPad instead. I saw two people have their vacuums fixed in under 10 minutes. The staff quickly diagnosed each issue and clearly explained the problem to the customers. Unfortunately, they weren't able to repair my item, but the staff member was helpful. They offered me a 20% discount on a newer model and also let me know about the discounted price for the model I owned. I chose not to purchase another one, but I appreciated the suggestion. read more

6/26/26: Purchased a Dyson Nural hairdryer in February '26. In June, the dryer started acting weird. I was annoyed because Dyson products are not cheap. Luckily, the service center wasn't too far from me. The Dyson service center is easy to find. It's a very short distance past the Paramus Park Mall entrance. When you pull in, just drive a short distance to the back of the strip mall. That's where the Dyson Service Center is located. It's a small shop. When you enter, be sure to take a good look at the check-in areas. I noticed the signs appeared to be in very small print. Antonice assisted me. She took my dryer into the back to test it. About 15 minutes later she came out and told me that I was getting a new dryer. It was still under warranty. (Since the Dyson Service center is "Company Owned", they should've given me a new dryer at that moment). About five days later, I did receive a new dryer by UPS. In the meantime, I had to use my old Dyson. I wasn't offered a loaner dryer while awaiting a new one. My 6 year old original Dyson dryer was probably the best. It had fewer bells and whistles on it. Fewer issues to worry about. The service center does have a decent size parking area. No appointment is needed. It's a first come, first serve business. So far, the new dryer works great! read more

I had a wonderful experience at the Dyson Service Center. I drove about 45 minutes to have my air purifier repaired, and it was absolutely worth the trip. Unfortunately, I didn't catch the names of the young woman and gentleman who assisted me, but they were both incredibly kind, professional, and welcoming. They took the time to fix my air purifier, patiently explained what caused the issue, and showed me how to help prevent future malfunctions. It's rare to receive customer service that is both knowledgeable and genuinely caring. I left feeling very satisfied with the experience and so glad I made the drive. They not only fixed my Dyson in a matter of five minutes but they also showed me where the filter was that hadn't been cleaned since I bought it. That was totally on me LOL. Customer service never told me when dropping off my vacumn that it would take over a month to get my vacumn back, I went back 2 weeks later as I couldn't imagine what was taking so long, I waited almost an hour to be told 2 more weeks and said at drop off I was never told it would take a month! I would have never brought it there! I have all carpet in my home, couldn't vacuum for a month! Also they can do repairs for somethings on the spot but other people are waiting so you could be here for a really long time, they are understaffed also so times they open late as well.. I was interested in participating in Dyson's spring-cleaning event where customers can trade in and recycle their old items to get 20% off new items. I called and emailed prior to my visit to this location to inquire about the program. Daniel Mendez kindly responded to me, confirming that the location does participate in this trade-in/recycling program all year. I live quite a bit away, so the next day, I packed up my vacuum and air purifier and headed to the store. When I arrived, I was approached by Antoinise. I explained to her that I was there for the trade in program. She brushed me off and told me they "don't do that". When I further explained, she said she will not recycle my items and will just throw them away, despite Dyson having recycling guidelines. She rolled her eyes at me and said, "I am Dyson, you know?" I asked to be helped by someone else. She then went up to a customer in the lobby asking, "Was I being rude?" The customer did not want to be involved because clearly, this was very inappropriate behavior. Antoinise went back to retrieve Dave. Dave was even nastier. He immediately made excuses for Antoinise's behavior, saying he wasn't there so he doesn't know what happened, but that because she's a woman sometimes people don't think she's a tech. What a weird comment to say, especially because I did not need a tech at all and I am also a woman. I asked if there was a store manager, and Dave told me he is the supervisor in charge of this location. He then told me he doesn't appreciate being lectured and told me to get my things and "get the hell out." Mind you, he said this to me in front of my 2 kids. I immediately left and as soon as I did, Dave and Antoinise came to the front of the store to talk about me, even engaging the customer who witnessed the interaction, who was clearly uncomfortable. I watched all of this from my car, humiliated and in tears. No one deserves to be treated this way. Steer clear of this place. VERY disrespectful, condescending, and unprofessional. Shame on you for treating a customer this way. read more

I sent my Dyson vacuum in for repair under warranty. The center received it on 11/19/25 at 11:06 AM. I have since been calling each week to Dyson to find out the status of my repair. On 12/17/25 Dyson finally admitted that they "lost" my machine. They ensured me that they would "highlight" my issue and have the warehouse reach out to replace my machine within 48-72 business hours. I continued calling every 3 days as no one would return calls. Each and every time I was told wait another 48-72 hours. We are not at 01/03/2026 which is over 900 business hours later..... NO CALL FROM DYSON SERVICE CENTER OR CORPORATE. I have no machine, and it's the same story over and over. I spent over $500 on this machine and still have 36 months left on the warranty... DYSON DO BETTER! read more

Came to the center to replace the cord on my Dyson hair drier after calling Dyson customer service & exchanging the emails to get the quote on the price but was told that I have to go to the center (45 min drive) only to get the answer upon arrival that they don't replace the cords. I had a very bad experience with Dyson Service Center. I brought two broken vacuums for repair. Afterwards, I received a call from the service representative who told me that the vacuums are fixed and ready for pickup. She offered to ship the units, so I would not have to drive over to the Center. The shipping was free and, of course, I agreed. When the vacuums finally arrived after a couple of weeks, they were nicely packaged and wrapped. However, both were in the same condition as before I brought them into the Dyson Service Center. They were unusable and unfixed. There was no note in the shipping boxes, no explanation. I tried to contact the Service by phone. Their answering machine does not have an option for leaving messages. I left my feedback in an email. In sum, I do not believe any repairs were done. This has been nothing more than a waste of time and a needless aggravation. Instead of telling the truth, like the units cannot be fixed, Dyson simply returned the broken products as if they were fixed. On my end, I waited to receive the vacuums and use them to clean my apartment. Now, I am stuck with two broken units, just like before. I am not sure why I even drove over to the Center in the first place. I guess, because I didn't know the truth about their services, which is that they are surreally horrible. read more

Be aware if your product needs repair! My wifi does no longer work with my PO7 (bought April 2023) air purifier. I reset several times according to the instructions but I still receive this error (see picture). In the app it doesnt find it anymore after removing the device (as instructed). Also not via entering the serial number manually. When living in Manhattan, they force you to go to this center in NJ because their repair policy says under 20 miles they don't allow shipping - see printscreen below. That is absolutely unacceptable in my opinion. It is very bad located (takes me 1.5 hrs by public transport with a heavy purifier) or USD 200 Uber to get there and back (additional USD 200 if the repair is done). Take a look at the Map. Like me a lot of people do not have a car and I'd say most of their customers are in the city area. Imagine if you are an old person and you have to carry this heavy machine all the way because they insist on their policy. How is it possible they do not have a dropoff center in the City (from where they could bundle repair jobs to their service center), but require you to go to NJ? This is outrageous and I regret my purchase. I truly feel let down by such a company which sells a premium product with a cost of more than 660 Dollar! For such a price the product has to work and for their very small number of faulty products (which always happens - I get it) they should do the utmost possible to solve the issue for the client in an easy way, because that's what you pay for as well. It almost feels like they do this on purpose so people don't go there and they don't have to honor their guarantee. I escalated the issue with the dyson costumer center but they do no longer respond and just ignore. Please take my review in consideration if you consider to buy a product. In my case I will for sure not spend any single Dollar with this company anymore. read more

Hello, I wanted to reach out to inform anyone/everyone from the dyson team that I have received the worst possible customer service that I have ever experienced from your staff. For over 2 months now, my dyson Airwrap, has been in the repair center in Paramus, NJ. I reached out to the repair center countless times via phone call and email and never ONCE received a response. I then proceeded to email your questions.us@dyson.com regarding this on going issue. Although they did respond, they had little no answers for me. They were extremely useless and talked in circles, which seemed to me as though they were buying themselves time. After getting essentially, no where, I was able to get a customer service representative on the phone. She had let me know that she is able to see my account information and open a case in effort to finally get a response from the dyson service center in Paramus. She let me know that I would be receiving an email from her regarding the case information. As expected, I never received an email from her regarding the case she had opened. I went ahead and tried calling the center again, no response. I emailed the questions.us@dyson.com email address again and had an email thread of over 10 ongoing emails. One representative told me the dyson was ready and they will ship it to my home address since Paramus is not close to where I live. Another told me that they are still waiting to hear from the service center. And just now, another told me it was ready and I will need to pick it up. I still do not have my dyson airwrap in my possession and would like to speak to someone for a full refund of the product. I will no longer be using any dyson products and I will inform my network to do the same. read more

I don't even know where to begin. This has to be the best customer service I've ever experienced in my life (not even exaggerating). Been having an ongoing issue with my Dyson V11 Torque , the whole body lost power and didn't take any power from the battery. I was sent a replacement battery and issue persisted. Immediately upon entering the store, the service tech inspected and diagnosed my main body needed to be replaced entirely. That part for the V11 was constraint and I was told turn around would be 2-4 weeks!! Now hold on though, at precisely 4:30 (one hour before they close) on the same day , I get a call that they managed to squeeze my machine in for expedited repairs AND they upgraded my main body to the NEW and IMPROVED V15. I drove one hour back from Brooklyn to Jersey and made it with about 2-3 min to spare to complete what was easily one of the best repair related experiences I've had. Dyson is legit. The customer service being top notch is legit. From the phone calls to emails to in person. Every step of the way I felt like they had my back. They certainly did. AND I got to keep the second battery. 160min+ of vacuum time Side note: all this was free because my machine was within the 2 year warranty window. But if there was a fee, they are very reasonable and have replacements parts for just about any issue with their products. read more

I called ahead to make sure the parts are in stock. Kind technician on the phone checked and said yes, come in anytime. Brought my almost 2years old V7 Motor head there today- they were very busy. I signed in and waited. Once it was my turn, he took it to the back, checked what was covered by warranty - and fixed all the issues. It's working like new now..!!!!! Thank you so, so much!!! After four years, my Dyson stopped sucking -- not in the euphemistic way, in the literal sense. A phone call with customer service resulted in my receiving an appointment with the Dyson Service Center in Paramus, NJ. Here's what I received and absolutely did not expect, given that I was coming in on Friday morning-- as in the day after Thanksgiving: prompt, friendly, courteous greeting; quick confirmation of appointment and problem with the machine; being invited to wait while the technician took the machine to the back and checked it out; and that I'd have a working machine in perfect working order a mere 15 minutes later! More shockingly, the visit was covered under the warranty -- so no additional costs, AND the technician refused to take any tip. Whoever is responsible for the ethos of this Center should be training companies everywhere in customer service. Fantastic experience. read more

Unfortunate way this problem was handled. I arrived at 11:15. The Young woman that was there was very helpful and attentive to everyone. I waited until Around 330pm when the technician first came out to be told that he can't fix it for two reasons one he cannot repair this particular mechanism at the base where the plug is. and two he refused to give me a second refurbished hair dryer. His take was when will it end. This is my second time in there. I felt like he was treating me like a crook. We paid $500 dollars on a hair dryer. I'm not exchanging some generic item to a Walmart. I was told the refurbished hair dryer was as good as new. My husband purchased one in 2016 brand new at a Sephora as a gift. In 2019 right after the warranty is no longer valid dyson service center gave me refurbished one. I was thankful. Unfortunately not even two years later( I am under warranty evidently from that one until October 23 of this year) that one completely stopped working. Bottom line. I would call dyson directly before going to the service center. I spent over 4 hours waiting the alternative was to leave it there 7-14 days, to be told the technician refused to give me another refurbished one. I was not looking to get over on anyone or get another one. I just wanted mine repaired. I felt like maybe you could have told me that from the start that they refused to help. He offered to recycle it for me which I felt was a sassy thing to say. I called dyson directly when I was in the store and that is when I found out the refurbished one was still under warranty. This has been the worst two months of service I've ever experienced. Our vacuum was dropped off before Thanksgiving where my husband had to wait three hours in store to drop it off. When we got it back, it still smelled like something burning. He had to wait over an hour to be handed our vacuum back at that appointment. He had to then bring it all the way back to the shop and waited two hours again to turn it in before Christmas. It is now almost a month later and we finally got a call that it was ready - went to pick it up and the shop was closed. Can't wait to go in when you reopen and wait multiple hours to be handed our vacuum back. If it had been fixed properly in the first place we wouldn't have this issue. I dreaded coming here today when my vacuum started acting up after only one year. I thought for sure I would get bad news, have to give my unit up for weeks of repair, etc. I loaded my vacuum up and made the short drive from the city to Paramus. My first impression of the store was great. It's clean, well organized, customer restroom but most important, the guy who helped me was genuinely a nice person and felt confident he could fix the issue while I waited. He explained everything to me, in a way that I could understand and also gave me several tips on how to care for my vacuum, things I didn't know otherwise (my fault, I never read manuals). After about 10 minutes, my unit came back working perfectly, I understood the issue and know how to prevent this from happening in the future. Thank you so much to the gentleman here today that made my visit well worth it. I feel silly for dreading it when it was actually a very productive visit!!!
