Just recently purchased a new DW from Yudins in Wykoff. Although I've been in the area for 20yrs, I've never gone there. I'm from a different location before moving to Wyckoff and have used a reputable large company from my previous area. Although they have been good for years, I thought I'd give my local company a try. WOW! Superb! They knew everything about what they sell, have a great inventory in stock & was able to schedule deliver in just 2 days. New installed, old removed & all good. In just 2.5 days!!! I found the customer service lacking . I ordered a microwave and told the salesman on purchase that I could only be home after 12:30 PM . The day of delivery I got a text saying the installers would arrive between 12-4 .I called the store to see if they could help , but THERE WAS NOTHING THEY COULD/ WOULD DO . I called the installers who had no problem with my request . The installers entered my kitchen , pulled out the existing microwave , cut the calking around it , then told me that the moldings of my cabinets were detaching , and they could not be responsible . Also they would not be responsible for my tiled backsplash . NOTE: This microwave has been replaced before with no problem, with the same backsplash , and the same cabinets . The installers reeked of cigarette smoke. They called the store while in my kitchen , took dozens of pictures, never unpacked the unit, and left, but they had the store on speaker, and I could hear myself being berated , criticized and finally dismissed for my simple request ! There are plenty of appliance stores , so my advice is to avoid Yudin's . BTW, all my windows are open because my home reeks of cigarette smoke and the bad karma the installers brought with them ! read more

Poor service after buying 5 major appliances is not to be expected but, it is what we experienced. It actually wasn't poor service is was no service. In spite of their own tech saying the fridge doors sent to replace the doors damaged in shipping, didn't match and begging them for 3 months to come see for themselves, no one from the store would travel less than 5 miles to see us after we spent $13,000. I emailed yudins to give them a chance to respond and got absolutely nothing...not even an apology. So here I am. We bought a stove from yudins. The guys that did the install came out to measure, said there was no problem. But then when they came back to do the install without consulting they cut out apart of the drawer and then screwed/duck taped it back together so it wouldn't hit the gas pipe instead of doing something a bit more professional...like putting in an elbow so it wouldn't hit. It is such a terrible job--the drawer is ruined with a chunk taken out and now we can't even close it. So disappointed that we trusted who you guys have install appliances. Complete half ass job for a high price. I'm was expecting a email back...maybe just an apology, but clearly not a priority. We always prefer supporting local businesses, but this place is off the list now. read more

Yudins I found your new slogan: "If we don't like what you have to say, we just hang up on you!" Yes, Judy (owner) said to me "you have 3 options, here they are, if you say anything other than 'option 1', 'option 2' or 'option 3', I will hang up on you." Shocked and appalled I said "are you serious?", she then literally hung up on me. Our rep (Joe Jansen) after spending $30k on appliances hung up on me twice after he did not like what I have to say as well. So in one day, after not receiving my appliances in a timely fashion, I got hung up on 3 times. He also failed to survey our home before he delivered, after I specifically said twice that I am concerned about it fitting in the elevator in our nyc apt. While I have it in an email, he says "you never mentioned anything about an elevator." Reliable, their delivery company, said upon delivering all other appliances "I am shocked Yudins didn't survey your place before delivering considering what a large order this is." Now here I am with 4 young children in the house and no refrigerator for another week and Yudins is forcing me to pay $1,400 to have the compressor removed. Total scam. Once they have your money, you're literally left without the appliances you paid for and another bill. They force you to pay 100% up front for a reason. Horrible horrible customer service. They take no accountability for their mistakes and are incredible rude. Stay away, far away, especially if you live in Manhattan. read more

If I could give a zero I would. I tried to do the right thing and shop local. I bought a brand new $3000 Bosch refrigerator at the end of last year. First they delivered a massively dented non-working fridge, and then they replaced that non-working fridge with another non-working defective refrigerator the next week. They have refused to replace it or give me my money back. It has been nothing short of a nightmare to be without a refrigerator for 3 months. I have to go out to my garage to get to a temporary refrigerator placed there. All I ever wanted was for them to do the right thing and give me a working refrigerator for the $3000 I spent. If you want to be sure to get an appliance that actually works, my advice is to NEVER shop here. Updating my review given the misleading and disappointing response from the owners. Actually Yudins never once offered to do anything for me until I was forced to contact AMEX for assistance. Both you and Bosch have completely abdicated responsibility despite the NJ Uniform Commercial Code requiring both sellers and manufacturers to provide a buyer with a refrigerator that actually works when purchased new. To date Yudins has never offered to provide me with a temporary refrigerator- I was told by Jessica at Yudins that I should go out and purchase another refrigerator myself to use as a temporary one. In what world is that acceptable as a response to the issue. Here I wait months late, with a young child in my home and neither you or Bosch has taken any steps or given me ANY date for delivery of an actual working refrigerator. Acting incompetently is one thing, but now you're just lying in your lame attempt to justify the fraud for $3000 that you've perpetrated on me. read more

We have shopped at Yudin's for a number of years and have bought everything from refrigerators to microwaves to washer/dryers. Recently we worked with Joe Cocuzza who has been super helpful in helping us buy a washer/dryer and a big kitchen refrigerator as well as a bar refrigerator for a new townhome. Especially with all of the supply chain issues, Joe had to work hard to find what we wanted and what could work. Everything is installed now (Reliable did a great job). The appliances all work great, look great and we are ready to roll. Yudin's is exactly what you want, they have reasonable prices given the convenience of local town showroom, nice selection, great service and delivery/install. The communication is excellent and they meet their commitments. We are delighted with Yudin's and wouldn't go anywhere else even if the price was better. read more

I purchased an Electrolux washing machine from Yudins back in late Nov. I believe in supporting local businesses and have been a customer of Yudin's for over 30 years. Yudin's delivered it and installed it, upon my first washing I noticed the front door was leaking. I immediately called Yudins and was told by customer service nothing we can do you need to call Electrolux. No interest in wanting to help or solve my problem. Now I am on my 3rd visit by Electrolux and the problem is still occurring. Right out of the box this problem occurred? I recently bought a GE clothes dryer from Yudin's in Wyckoff. The sales person was really extremely helpful in assisting me make my selection. He explained all the various controls and then told me about the finer selections of each. After deciding on the model I wanted he quoted me a price that was just super. We then discussed delivery options and time and he then wrote up the order. The delivery people called to inform me of a time slot and arrived well within that time. They were very professional installing the new dryer and removing to old one. All in all it was a real easy process from start to finsih. I heartily advise any one looking for an appliance to contact Yudin's - a family owned concern - and you will be happy with the price and delivery. read more

EXTREMELY dishonest company!!! I purchased all my appliances (kitchen/Laundry) here and when I had a problem with my stove and called to inquire about the warranty, they LOOKED up my order and informed me "it was a year and had expired". So I called BOSCH and paid $469 for the repair! About 1,5 years later, while doing paperwork I found my original sales receipt and it indicated I had purchased an extended 4-YEAR warranty for about $500 extra!!! (While having a house built, with all the decisions, I totally forgot, and they totally took advantage!). Stick to Kenmore and Sears people! Yudins can add comments to reviews explaining everything away, yet all of us are experiencing non existent customer service AFTER they have our money!. Talk is cheap Yudins. I couldn't disagree more with the negative reviews posted, although obviously I don't know their experiences. My wife and I came here several times when we redid our kitchen and the salesman (don't recall his name right now) was very pleasant and knowledgeable. The prices were good and they held on to the appliances until we needed them about four months later. Didn't have any issues with the appliances so didn't really require any further customer service but when I called for replacement filters they were very helpful on the phone. read more

Acquired a washer and dryer. The staff was very nice, the service was very good. They even double checked with me the dimensions of the location to make sure that there will be no problems. The delivery men were in and out in 15 minutes, have used the appliances for about a month now with absolutely no hassle. I would like to take this opportunity to thank Yudin's Appliance for their help. when Our family run school, The Learning Tree preschool and childcare in Hawthorne had a dryer that broke, they jumped right in to help. our school helps many families with diverse finical needs and were not able to make such a purchase at the time the dryer broke. we do an average of two loads a day between sheets, clothes and bibs and not having a way to wash and dry theses were a huge weight for our single mothers and busy working families. not only did Yudin's Appliance donate a dryer, the dryer was delivered quickly and with a smile. thank you again for being so wonderful! read more

I rarely write reviews, unless my experience was abysmal (see my review of Dry Bar) or superb. Yudin's makes purchasing appliances a pleasure. I went to Yudin's to replace a broken oven. The sales staff is extremely knowledgeable, particularly with respect to features important to kosher consumers. They also don't push you to get features that you neither want nor need, or to spend more than you have to. Prices are competitive with, or better than, the other stores I visited. And customer service is top notch. One of the knobs on my new oven was cosmetically blemished. Not a big deal, but for what I spent, I wanted perfection. One call later, I had a new knob. To be perfectly honest, I hope that the rest of my appliances last me a long, long time. But if they don't (and please, don't curse me, powers that be), I'll be sure to shop at Yudin's. read more

Top notch customer service, delivery and total experience for the high end appliances for our new kitchen. Excellent selection in their showroom. They matched prices wherever they could and were nothing but accommodating and easy to work with. They held the delivery until the rest of the kitchen was ready and it was a smooth process. i have been going to Yudins since i was using my allowance to buy audio tapes. now, i go there to buy all my household appliance as does the rest of my family for their homes. Very helpful. They saved me a bunch of money last year when the stove in my new house wasnt working. i was all set to pay a few hundred dollars to have it repaired but they looked it up in their computer and found out the old owners did have extended warranty on oven. read more

Bought a full kitchen's worth of high end appliances from them (stove, refrigerator, dishwasher, vent fan, microwave) based upon a recommendation. Pricing was comparable to others. The microwave I ordered unfortunately did not fit the cabinet opening (My error). Yudin's would not replace the microwave with one that would fit as I would have expected from any service oriented store under the circumstances. Based upon other reviews posted, Yudin's poor after sale service is not uncommon. I would avoid doing business with them and stick with either big box stores or those with better customer service reputations. read more

**UPDATE**--it's amazing to me that you think your company who sold me a defective appliance has nothing to do with this situation. in fact, the only thing yudins handled was the sale of a defective appliance. your comment 'none of this has to do with yudins' would more appropriately apply to the resolution of the problem. after taking matters into my own hands, and with no support from yudins other than to viciously and aggressively attack my yelp review, the resolution was achieved between me, LG, and the repair facility. I stand by my review that your establishment sold me a defective appliance and after the fact offered zero in the way of solutions. answering your question, I did receive some of the money back from LG and the repair facility but not all. this again was with zero support from yudins. read more
